  • So, when is the Video Store coming to Scandinavia ?

    • We’re constantly working to expand our services to new territories and continue to investigate the possibility of bringing the great digital services of Sony Entertainment Network to new consumers across the globe. We will be sure to keep you informed as we plan our next steps.

  • @2 & 3 Quiet Vikings

  • So… Any news on a scandinavian video service?

  • i hope vita will be able to play HD movies , not only SD , please sony make this possible

  • When is video store coming to scandinavia?

  • @Grace Chen

Hope you’re having a great day today!

PS: When’s the video and music store coming to Hong Kong (and Scandinavia)?

  • Music Unlimited is coming to Canada when …. ?

  • When is video store coming to scandinavia?

  • Quebec content… thank you…….

  • When’s the Video Store coming to Peru?

Also, Sony, you should really fix the prices of the Video Store, match or beat the lowest prices on the market. I will never purchase or rent anything off of here when I can get them much cheaper else where.

  • “x-men 1st class” will kick ass on ps3.”

  • Why is it X-Men: First Class is not available to rent? I was hoping to watch it tonight at work!!

  • Having the PSN video store (and the gaming side also) available in all regions where PS3 is available is a must. its been really far too long in coming. If those responsible spent half the time on that instead of avoiding the issue with hyperbole non answers there’d be a lot more results showing.

The PSN store needs a huge revamp in both quality & timeliness. Content is very uneven by region both when it comes out compared to other systems and quality varies a lot especially on the video side. And also as many have said price cuts on the video side are sorely needed. The prices are extremely high compared to physical media. Lets face it, once the rights are acquired (which should be minimal for sony owned or distributed tv / movies) the actual distribution costs to sell to customers is minimal compared to physical discs sold in stores. Prices shouldn’t be universally higher than those same stores you’re competing with. This is why both myself and others still buy or rent DVD’s & Blu-rays instead of from the PSN store. Of the 100 people on my friends list I’m the only one who’s even bought any video on the psn store. One friend had a code he won in a subway contest for a psn movie and he couldn’t give it away.

  • The comments about the psn store week after week often mention problems of various kinds. And the blog entries consistantly get rated very poorly indeed. This should be Telling Grace and others working on the PSN store that there are problems that need to be fixed but aren’t. I doubt anyone cares why this is only that it should change for the better.

  • WTF!!!!!!!! was on this morning and x-men first class was available to rent now it’s not what’s the deal there’s no way I’m buying it from psn already got screwed out of $130 when my old PS3 died and you can’t redownload them so wtf guess I’ll see if it’s available on 360 to rent your loss

  • i never movies or tv shows on the ps3 no more since they dont stay in the download list. id rather just have it on dvd. and yea im an sd person not an hd. dont see paying more for hd when its only louder and im not into that.

  • When HD video is the same cost as SD video, you will find me buying movies. The cents cost in bandwidth difference for the data, costing the consumer several dollars will always be a joke. Until then, I’ll just keep using competitor services and give them my money.

  • why is it always the crappiest mainstream songs that get such heavy replays, like come on! LIMP BIZKIT ARE BACK AND YOU FOOLS ARE STILL LISTENING TO THAT CHRIS BROWN SONG :D

  • Why is there so many complainers here??? Why??? Stop complaining you damn complainers!…. COMPLAINERS

  • that was a good movie

  • saben que netflix libero su libreria de peliculas para america latina desde el 5 de septiembre cuando playstation network liberara la libreria de movie peliculas y musica Music Unlimited para America latina ????? CUANDO

netflix libero know your library of movies to Latin America from September 5 playstation network when the library movie release Movies Music Unlimited for Latin America ????? WHEN

  • I logged on to see if X-men first class was available and saw it was only for SALE in SD format. It is really poor decision making to not offer it for rent and furthermore, not in HD. You’re not getting my money and you’re not encouraging me to stay as a customer by offering me such terrible options.

  • I might have to get the X-Men Bundle. Only saw one of the 4 movies so it seems like a good deal to me.

  • There should be a channel under the tv / video section of xmb with the full contents of crackle and the odd teaser episode of shows from the PSN store. No I do not mean commercials only I mean the real thing. It would not only be a stronger selling point for the system itself but for the psn store which needs all the help it can get.
