I’m so happy to hear it’s finally coming out and it’s also looking great. This is one of my favorite games of last gen and I can’t wait to play it again. I’m also excited to hear about the next few Oddworld games that are coming out. I’m buying this day one, I may even buy it as a gift for some of my friends that wouldn’t otherwise give it a try.

I’m disappointed that so many people are against this game without even knowing anything about it. Okay, it’s an FPS for the most part, but so what? The gameplay is solid and the story, characters and ammo all fit perfectly into the Oddworld universe and it’s a very enjoyable game from beginning to end. Don’t avoid a game because of the genre.

I was looking for good adventure for the Vita – this might be my choice.

Both games are very different. The PS1 titles are pure side on, screen flipping platform puzzle games. Where Stranger’s Wrath is an action adventure game in third and first person.

And yes, the graphics in the VITA version are the same as those on the PS3, except there’s no MLAA on the Vita version. :)

It is the PS3 version in the trailer, however that version did not have MLAA enabled in it, and as you could see from the footage we captured it at 30fps, where the game runs at 60fps.

Hi,
I understand your PoV and to a degree I agree with you, however we, and Oddworld are small companies, as such we simply cannot afford, AT THIS TIME, to have disc manufactured on a risk that we may never see a return.

We want to keep making new Oddworld titles, and the cold hard facts are, a $50 retail title, makes less money for a developer than a $12 PSN title.

Which is something we cannot afford.

There is nothing to say we don’t release a compendium set at Retail in the future with multiple titles on a single Blu-Ray disc.

Do Vita and PS3 have a similar graphics and is this the PS3 version in the trailer?
