  • Where I’d code veronica?

  • Okay what was the reason why CT and FFVI wasn’t released today?

  • Totally fricken buying RE3 and RE4 this weekend. Already own RE2!

  • Saying full trophy support in RE4 is false advertising, there’s only twelve trophies…

    • I dunno, when I read Full Trophy support, it’s that it support Trophies; not necessarily speaking to the number of trophies in the game. But good feedback though, thanks!

  • @49

Leave him be. He’s just here refreshing the page looking for people to insult for having different tastes than him. Don’t expend the effort. Trolls love it.

  • Is the NBA 2K12 demo Move enabled?

  • Ivclix it should be in 1 week!

  • Code veronica sep. 27th 2011………..yay

  • sw00t its like Resident Evil week with this update, gonna be busy lol its great to have PS+

  • Also: I amend part of my earlier post. Apparently you DID fix the ticket sales for Elemental Monster. You guys might want to edit that in. I assumed the no mention of it on the notes meant it didn’t happen.

So at least that got fixed. Appreciated.

  • So i noticed that Payday: The Heist is now available for preorder, and you get a theme for preordering it.
I did the Playstation PLAY program to get it for free, so shouldn’t i also get the Theme that others get for preordering it? or do i have to spend $20 on preordering it again just to get the theme?

And i’m not actually expecting a response, because lets face it, my comments never get responded to, so it’s not like my question actually matters to you.

    • oh you. of course the questions matter! sometimes we can speak to questions, and sometimes, we’re not ready to share specific info.

in this case, I believe the theme is only an incentive to those who pre-order. As messaged with PLAY, you bought all 4 titles, so you’ll be getting PAYDAY as the bonus gift.

  • Okay we should really get a compensation for getting to believe that Chrono Trigger and FFVI was coming out. Either you guys really do release them some time in the NEAR future or give us something at least.

  • Like I said today is RESIDENT TUESDAY!!!!!

  • I’m not seeing the “two of Square Enix’s critically acclaimed” on the list….

  • Yet again PS+ has paid off. Quite a day for PS classic fans, and even PS2. ;)

  • i could have sworn i saw FF6/Crono on the drop. Why are they not listed here?

Anyway nothing for me this week aside from the free RE games. but i am glad you guys actually remembered the psp, plus its persona 2 too bad i already have the game.

  • There is no denying the sweetness that is this update. Especially on the PS+ side of things

With the FallOut Add-on and all the REgoodies I find it almost uncomfortable to complain…but…WTF is the deal with the CT And FF release?!

That’s trampling on some sacred stuff there!!

  • How about The Legend of Dragoon?

  • I refuse to buy RE4 without platinum. I already own the game on other platforms and have no reason to buy this version without a platinum.

    No platinum = No buy

  • i cant wait for this i got to get all the trophies i already have all the things of RE4 in my ps2 i wish i could plug my memory card in my ps3 lol and get all the trophies just like that

  • good feed.

  • Well its finally happened, PSN users have degraded to the level of XBL users. What a sad day. In this blog, in only 2 pages you can find:

Someone whining that there is no release date for a game, it is not written anywhere that downloadable shovelware games like Castlevania: HOD need release dates

Someone thinking we should be compensated for nothing. Did it cost anyone anything to tell you that CT and FF6 were coming out? Some of you might whine that you went out and bought a PSN card for this, but Sony didnt force you to. And its not like you still cant use the money. You should only get compensated if you bought the games and then couldn’t download them. Stop trying to get free stuff for nothing.

Trophy Hunters whining about no platinum. Ugh…you guys are the worst. Go back to the horrible site ps3trophies.org and whine to the riff raff there, nobody here cares.

  • Yeah, they took Final Fantasy & Chrono Trigger off yesterday, apparently it was an ‘error’ or some crap.

Took Burnout Crash & Resident Evil 4.. no platinum? don’t care. Don’t have much interest in Code Veronica next week.

  • Anyone know where I can actually get a response from PSN?
Because i think it’s some serious bull that i can’t have the PAYDAY: The Heist theme, after i shelled out $44 to participate in PLAY

  • I agree with D-Squad3
We need the legend of the dragoon (and Medievil 2).
RE4 HD looks interesting but since we are not getting a physical copy here I’m not interested.
But I’m planning to get RE2 so its still a RE week for me :D

  • awesome update and sales, love the new outline as well.

  • @CaptainDarin79

trophies are the ONLY reason many people have to purchase RE4 AGAIN!
Capcom and Sony could have made a lot more sales off RE4, but they messed up big time.

I was even going to sign up for PS+ to get the half price sale, but like I said. Capcom and Sony messed up big time.

  • It would be reall cool if u came out with some NHL avatars so they can match my red wings dynamic theme. Also a nfl dynamic themes and avatars. Just a suggestion. If not let me create my own custom avatar. I’d even pay 49 cents to make my own.

  • w00h00 for Cubixx HD!!!

Edge is awesome and one of my favorite iPhone/iPad games, but $5 is too much for a mini version of it. minis just look too bad on my 50″ HDTV, and the audio quality is typically extremely low to the point of being painfully lispy/boomy. I’ll gladly pick it up when it has HD resolution :)

  • When do us CANADIANS get the new RE 4 and New Vegas DLC???

  • Have a question? Do the playstation play offer ends today?

  • Trophies are a dumb reason to buy a game, if anything they should be a bonus not a reason. Its people like you that make me sad. Some of the best games on PS3 have not had trophies. Metal Gear Solid 4, Valykria Chronicles, Oblivion, Eternal Sonata. Are you saying you would miss out on a good game simply because there is no virtual accomplishment that really means nothing not included in the game?

  • you are right big boss if there is no platinum trophy i wont buy it

  • So, how long will it be 50% off?

  • I gotta add…

The Drop(ing) should really be reevaluated after this weeks total misinformation campaign. And no, this is not just the bitter advice of a PS1RPG fan, it’s my honest opinion.

Getting so many things wrong in one week goes past doing a bad job and into the realm of literally working aginst your intended purpose. It IS supposed to tell us what’s coming right? Not just confuse us, correct?

  • this makes me want operation raccoon city now!

  • I R a sad panda to learn that Chrono Trigger was included as a mistake :( not kewl.

  • @Digital-Big-Boss
that’s kinda sad because the game only has 12 trohies O.o
I blame Capcom. I mean seriusly 12?? the handcannon is not even a trophy. But I’ll also add that most of us aren’t getting RE4 HD because there is no Physical copy.

  • i cant found re4 at store
its only re 1 at store
    soo bad soo bad

  • Man!!!! I wanted chrono trigger and final fantasy 6. Oh well still getting persona 2 innocent sin. :)

  • Cool. Here I come, Chrono Trigger and Final Fanta…oh, wait…

  • In both GOW remastered games we get platinum trophy, but RE4 doesn’t have platinum so I won’t buy it. I was really interested on it, but I got disappointed.

  • @88 Dantes_Ragnarok

RE4 has 2 physical version as far I’m concerned: The Japanese and the Asian(Hong Kong) versions

  • I paid full price for all 3 resident evil PsOne classics when they were first added to the store, and while all 3 games are excellent, i really recommend that you play them on your PSP (if u have one) and not PS3. The graphics look very dated on PS3, but on PSP, the games look excellent on the PSP’s small but high quality screen.

btw, once you get past the hype, you’ll see the RE4 “remake” for the sham that it is – namely, another poor & half-done cash grab by capcom. Please do not reward their continuing laziness and contempt for PlayStation in this era.

    • I like this trend of remastered gems from the last generation getting the HD makeover. It was such a jump for games from PS2 to PS3 with HD, trophy support, even online play in some cases. So while it might make a good opportunity for companies like Capcom to get some goodlol’ fashioned revenue, it’s also a fun opportunity to have these modern classics in a better format. I’m not complainin’. Feel free to continue the conversation in the forums: http://community.us.playstation.com/message/36310639#36310639

  • gonna take NBA

  • It would be awesome if you guys put some MGS Avatars when the MGS HD collection releases :)

  • I’ve never gotten on here and complained and typically get annoyed with the weekly bi%6hing of people expected games nobody from sony has said is coming out.. Legend of Dragoon and the people who get on here weekly expecting something to come out they apparently are keeping under wraps for a specific time period.. Castlevania: Harmony of Despair. Yet, I can’t help but to feel like Sony is paying Rey for nothing this week. Half of his drop was a lie.. LOL Rey you do a great job a lot of the time, but you blew it this week man. Any other company and you wouldn’t have a job this morning ask other PR’s and Web Advisors.. Keep up the good work but quit lying to people.. Its quite annoying

  • Did anyone else here participate in PLAY?
Because the only reason i even participated in it was for the PAYDAY: The Heist coming with it for free, but if i had known that i could preorder it and get a theme for it, maybe i wouldnt have waisted my money on buying all the games on PLAY, because in reality, i only wanted renegade ops and the Baconing.
I could have just bought those two, and then preordered PAYDAY, and got the theme for it.

But nope, it’s still all about stupid preorder bonus’s for the entire games industry now, and the exclusivity crap we keep seeing is ruining games for a lot of people.

I find it kind of stupid that i spent $44 on the PLAY thing, and now i’m out the theme, because i chose to spend $44 instead of just the $20 for the game?
    that’s kind of stupid.
actually, it’s not kind of stupid,
    It’s extremely stupid.

  • Hopfully the new operation racoon city will have a discount

  • I would’ve loved platinum on RE4 :( this update it’s good though :)
