  • I bought (pre-ordered) all the PSN Play games more or less the day they were first offered – however I am looking in the Store and there is The Heist available to me for 19.99 to pre-order as well. I am under the assumption that I am to get this for free. Is this a glitch in the matrix or what? Because I can see some people not thinking clearly and buying a game they might already have, which will cause issues down the line

  • Really nice thinking Sony: Have Mass Effect 2 on the store but “normal” users can’t even see the price or buy it. Don’t know or care if plus can. Might as well get a physical copy . . . . . . .

  • @phatmillips
    thats my whole complaint,
I want the Theme that comes with preordering it, but i’m not about to preorder a game that i’m getting for free through PLAY.
So why can’t i get the theme, even if i have to get it seperate?
I spent $44 on PLAY and now i can’t have the theme that other people are getting for only spending $20?
    It’s dumb.

  • Hmm.. if I were a RE fan I’d be in heaven – I could never get into that stuff.

Section 8: Prejudice – you’re looking mighty good right about now..

  • @plaztiksyke thanks for the Cubixx HD mention. Don’t know if you’ve seen as I got to it a bit late (blasted Time Zones) but I’ve answered some of your questions on the Cubixx HD blog https://blog.playstation.com/2011/09/15/cubixx-hd-coming-to-psn-with-7-player-multiplayer/

  • Happy about RE4 and the PS1 discounts, and not much else….

Not anything more to really say about it.

  • @ joethebeast16

You spent $44 on 5 games while others are spending half of that money on only one game.

You’ve already gotten 5 games for $44 and you’re crying about an extra theme that people having to spend $20 on 1 game receive?

    Grow up.

  • I may be asking too much but if RE4 had Move support I would pay $20 for it. And that thing about limited trophies is no good either.

  • @JoeTheBeast16 – i guess my issue is why is there an option for me to buy it, there shouldn’t be if i already have it. i feel the system doesnt believe i have it or that i own it – i know some people will be paying 19.99 for a game they may (or should) already have – its a system issue if we are to get it for free and needs to be taken down and/or fixed to avoid issues

  • What If RE4 had zero trophies?

  • i thought payday was coming out today? any idea when thats being released?

  • Also of note.

To anyone who hasn’t bought it… The free version of RE: Director’s Cut is the “Dual Shock” version. Meaning it has a terrible new soundtrack, almost ear bleedingly bad. Be advised and plan accordingly.

  • “Saint’s Row 2”

    No apostrophe in ‘Saints’ :)

  • Does Saints Row 2 digital have the online co-op? Please answer it can make a difference in buying this game. Let us know :)

  • no Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger?! You lied to us, Sony

  • I just don’t understand why R4 doesn’t have a plat.

  • Who’s gonna whine about those old, non-Persona RPGs when Persona 2’s available?

  • @115
People who doesn’t have a psp.

  • the best version of re4 is still on the Wii…this shouldn’t be. but hey remember re4 was supposed to be gamecube exclusive all those years ago, so it kinda makes sense. PREDICTION: here comes the $5.00 move patch…screw Capcom and their 1980’s business tactics.

  • Servers are getting slammed for this weeks update!!

  • Thanks for the R.E Classics

  • Sony you should really look into giving plus subscribers the ability to actually buy your content when It’s on sale instead of just offering it free which undoubtedly is AWESOME. but I for one being a plus subscriber would like the ability to purchase the RE PS1 classics for 50% off today instead of getting them free. Maybe have an option to select whether you’d just like them free of to purchase like non plus subscribers during the checkout process. Please make this happen!!!

  • cant wait for the 28th for the BF3 beta

  • Haters Hate!

    PLAYstation All Day Baby!!

  • I would buy RE4 but with NO MOVE support it’s not worth it. Not even for $10 bucks. Not supporting the MOVE is a massive disservice to the product.
Is there any chance it will get an update later with Move support?

  • Where’s Final Fantasy?

  • Any idea when the Portal 2 dlc will be released?

  • Sevendust1987 you are correct, I ran into this too at times, but in this case I owned the previous ones.. Glad u bought that up.. We as Plus members need to option to purchase free games offered to u… Other wise we’d have to wait till it’s off free.

  • So answerer mi this plz. Why you guys did’t remind us? i just got the money yesterday thinking that the offers end on 25 of sep. man can you guys give us one day?

  • Still no love for the gamecocks on the NCAA themes I see somebody in playstation must hate South Carolina .on another note I’ve never played RE would this be worth buying for a beginner ?

  • We need more than 150MB worth of cloud saves for PS Plus. Because the save auto-uploader seems to insist on uploading EVERY save from games that you enable, it fills up the space immediately and then fails to upload any more saves. Due to that, I’ve found the auto save uploader useless and disabled it on every game.

  • YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY Persona 2 is out today

  • I read on Joystiq PSN was releasing Chrono Trigger and FF6 today? Now why would they announce something like that then not deliver? Typical Sony

  • Come on guys, how about releasing more avatars for your own exclusives huh? Nothing for Resistance 3 or Uncharted 3. Not even for your upcoming collections? What a joke.

  • How come we don’t get a platinum trophy in RE4 while our friends of a certain rival’s console get that equivalent (1000 GS vs. 200 GS). I feel kinda shafted, especially as I became a PS+ member to get the discount.

  • how about announcing a FF III, FF V, FFVI, and chrono trigger, psp remake. That would make up for it to me, AND WOULD MAKE MORE $$$… and we all know you like $$$

  • There should be Demos for Resident Evil HD. I just want to see how they actually look with my own eyes instead of through a video on my computer, since there are so many versions.

  • Thanks for the update!

    Really looking forward to:

ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD Collection (pre-order all paid up.)
    Journey
    Machinarium
    Arkedo 1
    Arkedo 2
    Arkedo 3
    PixelJunk Sidescroller
    SaGa Frontier 2 (PS Classic)
    Rock of Ages
    Storm
    Mercury Hg
    and Eufloria looks interesting too!

BTW, good job with the Blog Comments sidebar on the bottom right there. I like it!

  • Great update again ! September has been a good month for PlayStation and an even better month for Plus members.

@PeopleComplainingAboutFF6/CT: Seems you folks missed the tweet from Sony: http://twitter.com/#!/PlayStation/status/115936156008452096

  • This update sucks. You really pissed alot of people off lying about ff6 and chrono trigger. Its about time they were released anyway. The more you f*** with people, the less mony in your wallets. Also, last weeks the drop was full of lies.

  • Sony is crushing our very souls.

  • I would like to know if they is a option to change my avatar if i got an account with psn plus account, but to use it on another regular account.By the way good resident evil update but im a little dissapoint that renegade ops is no longer on sale and no longer giving the free DLC.

  • Okay, well since the FFVI/CT posting was supposedly a mistake, can we expect them to release next week? Or is it just “whenever” again, like it’s been the 4-5 months since they were announced for PS1 Re-release?

  • sony you pissed a lot of people off.

  • @TuttiCicero
I’m not saying i didnt get more for my money then the other people, i’m just saying that when they announced play, they should have at least forwarned us that there was going to be an exclusive theme that could only be gotten by preordering it, because then i would have only bought the two games from PLAY that i actually wanted, and then preordered PAYDAY, and in that case i would have spent the same money on the only three games i wanted to play, and i would have gotten the theme i wanted.
They can have streetfighter and Bloodrayne back, if it means i can have the theme.

I just think it’s stupid that they present an offer that is clearly a great deal, but then have another offer down the road, but still before the game even launches, that offers something exclusively.

I didnt want bloodrayne or streetfighter, i only bought them because i was thinking “Well, 5 games for a price that’s still lower then a full retail game”
but if i had known i could have just gotten the 2 PLAY options that i wanted and then purchased PAYDAY, and actually gotten something that i wanted, in the theme; then i would have done that.

  • Fantasy_473, you’ve made the point that people, including myself, were upset when the CT/FFVI thing was a mistake, but please don’t spam this article with hate. That’s not going to get them released. It’s not like Sony is losing a bunch of fans because they mistakenly posted games to come out that weren’t supposed to come out.

As upset as I was yesterday when I found out, it’s an honest mistake. It’s better that they corrected it right away, rather than saying nothing and not having them come out today.

  • @128 Dude, you said ‘gamecocks’ (laughs childishly)

  • I’m just sick of the constant exclusivity crap.
Let me at least have the option to purchase the theme, seeing how i’m OBVIOUSLY looking forward to playing payday, enough so that i spent $44 on things other then the game i actually want, just for the satisfaction of knowing that Payday was going to cost nothing more then that.

  • hahahaha Resident Evil day, here i go!!

    Thanks sony and capcom!!

  • Utterly pathetic. That accurately describes this update.

Even the fifteen year anniversary of Biohazard was an utter failure (and I even include that “pathetic” Japan only bundle release too.) Capcom has officially hit rock bottom. I mean the whole update as a whole was garbage. Nothing even worth a mention of good. Sony you did not just drop the ball; the ball steam-rolled your arses and pinned Capcom to the wall like a pancake. Anyone who dares to call themselves a Biohazard fan and gets giddy over this pathetic attempt is not a fan. This was a bust and a let down. Here is hoping for a “decent” twentieth (at the very least.)
