DICE’s Top 10 Battlefield Tips for Operation Metro

  1. Stick to your teammates, and remember to spawn on them to stay close to the fight.
  2. Use your kit specific abilities to help your team mates. Assault can hand out med kits, Engineers can repair vehicles, and Support can hand out ammo.
  3. When you arm an M-COM station, defend it to ensure it’s destroyed.
  4. The bombed-out tunnel section in Operation Metro is an excellent place to use a flashlight as one of your weapon attachments. Use it to light the tunnels up – and to blind your enemies!
  5. Attach bipods to your weapon and deploy it automatically by pushing up against cover or laying prone and zooming in – this gives you a huge increase in accuracy and stability.
  6. Use suppressive fire (shoot close to enemies behind cover) to negatively impact the enemy’s fighting capabilities.
  7. Watch out for falling debris — it can hurt you! But you can also hurt your enemies by taking out buildings with the Engineer’s RPG.
  8. Shotguns are excellent for CQC (Close Quarters Combat) in the tighter tunnels sections.
  9. Fire automatic weapons in short bursts for accuracy, or switch to single-fire mode if applicable.
  10. To grab your enemy’s dog tag as a souvenir, perform a stealth knife kill from behind.

  • k IDK if were supposed too respond here or NOT but from my @50 i don’t play FPS infact their all shat so anyways i will say this is the best thing since sliced bread mazin GRAQPHIC engine rr uu kidin me WOW the future is HERE an luv the beta since i don’t play FPS my opinion is infact MUCH stronger then say the hardcore lamer sooo homefront was sweet i must say an BF3 is the MW3 killer brah i get it KZ3 couldn’t do the job an i see why it’s just a diff type of FSP but this beta ran real smooth i hava very very slow connection an jumped on the wirless sttill fine never had a dropped game an thats all that matters amazin FIFA an UNCHARTED 4 life BUT i canz give this KING status AS well!!!!!!!!!! good job

  • very very sweet gameplay luvly how everything is spread out never touched MW2 but watched enough of that garbage on JTV

  • oh by the way #1 ranked in anarchy rush hour if anyone wants too play add me im master chef

  • Well heres my 2 cents:

    1. I loved the graphic, they look great, smoke, lighting texture. a liiiittle exaggerated on the dark areas of the subway.

    2. i’m a killzone fan and recently have BC1 and COD and i don’t have the problem of identifying my opponent. On killzone there are more wide areas and recently played K3 beta and the details were over the top for me. i played BC 1 and on multilayer i can see my opponents, interact well with my equipment and vehicles. I also played the beta of BC2 and it was AWESOME. Again i could see my opponent and the objective clearly enough to spawn in other areas and keep on moving and flanking. this beta i just downloaded and played on my PS3 i gave me stress…why because it was very confusing environment to my objective, and why i could see my control layout i how would i knew the layout of that this is what?…but that is just minor problems….Continue below!

  • Continued…From my point of view, HOW THE HELL I CAN GET HEAD SHOT KILL IF I CAN’T EVEN SEEE WHO THE FREAK IS SHOOTING ME!. MY INDICATOR ALERT ME BUT I CAN’T SEE WHO IS SHOOTING. I GOT KILL 17 TIME IN ONE MINUTE. This is the problem i see here in this beta…YEAH Its a beta DLC but my eyes where hurting every time I was looking for my opponent. The mic problem? well i usually don’t talk a lot when i played, everyone else here uses it and yes, it was annoying because how can someone communicate with each other to do a great gameplay?

I didn’t care much of the weapons upgrade. they operate well and good range but confusing with the cross hair, at least they could of done the red cross hair when reaching an opponent to make a kill. I will wait for the review of the game when it comes out. Well here’s was my 2cents. I hope the final product will come better than this. a
lot of people are waiting for this game, im a Killzone FAN,COD(newly fan) and BC1 and 2 fan.

  • Amazing beta for battlefield 3. problems with the beta so far are
1.Glitching through the ground whenever prone, and enemies being hard to see or not knowing where they are
2.being killed instantly whenever spawning with your squad and having no time to react to who’s shooting you.
3.not being able to aim down the sight sometimes
4,having a blue screen whenever respawning( which can be fixed by pressing start in game)
5.not knowing who your team mates or enemies are because there is no blue or red indicator to let you know
But overall a good game and ill be picking it up on the 25th since i preordered it. And by the way when is the Back To Karkand map pack coming out?

  • Scopes are too bright on this game and still wating on a patch before beta ends

  • BUT SERIOUSLY PEOPLE IF THIS IS THE ACTUAL VERSION OF WHAT BATTLEFIELD 3 WILL LOOK LIKE I WILL DEFINITELY BE PLAYING BAD COMPANY 2 ON A COUNT OF IT DONT HURT MY EYES TO LOOK AT.. IM REALLY DISAPPOINTED ABOUT THIS DISGRACE OF A DEMO BECAUSE I JUST WANTED TO SEE WHAT BF3 WOULD LOOK LIKE… THATS ALL I WANTED.. NOW WHY SHOULD I SHELL OUT 60 BUCKS IF THEY DIDNT DELIVER??

  • This game rocks I love it

  • I’m playing the beta now on my PS3 and I must say; AWESOME! There is just one thing I wish for to be in BF3 on October 25th. What I wish for is the British Assault Rifle, the L85A2 to be in the game (In multiplayer), and instead of the ACOG scope, I wish for it to be the British SUSAT scope. Can you please include the L85A2 in BF3? As I think I speak for all of us Brits when I say, we are getting sick of using the same U.S guns in every First Person Shooter. In every First Person Shooter, I always see the M4, M16, M60 and the M24 (any other american weapons. ). I really hope you reply to this, Dice. Anyway, there is just one downside to the Beta which is; When I run I keep falling through the ground at certain points of the map. It gets irritating when I am going to kill an enemy that is disarming my team’s Composition 4 which is on Objective A (The objective I am talking about is in the park, basically the first two objectives) and then I suddenly fall underneath the ground and the enemy defuses the charge. (I really am not bothered about this as I know it’s only a Beta and it won’t be in the full game.) Anyway, thanks for reading, Dice. :)

  • Question: why can’t you cook the grenade?
