Calling all Fortune Hunters! This Thursday, October 13th, one of the most celebrated game franchises of all time comes crashing into PlayStation Home. UNCHARTED 3: Fortune Hunter provides a third-person adventure game experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen in PlayStation Home, including a partial recreation of the Yemen level from the UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer mode, and a cover-based shooting system complete with weapons and gameplay inspired by the hit UNCHARTED series. UNCHARTED 3: Fortune Hunter is the latest Total Game Integration event allowing players to unlock exclusive content in UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception directly from PlayStation Home.

Over the course of the next three weeks, players will be pitted against waves of enemies developed from character models straight from UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception. Progress through challenges to unlock special PlayStation Home rewards, such as collectible weapons; complete all 10 challenges to unlock the Kickback Endurance Booster for use in UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer when the game releases on November 1st. That’s not all – players that pre-order UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception directly from PlayStation Home will receive an exclusive Nathan Drake costume with custom shooting animation for their PlayStation Home avatars. In other news, VEEMEE will release a brand new arcade game, Savage Cosmos, into the wide world of PlayStation Home this week.     are the coats in the theater still going to be there and fixed so everyone can get them without jumping through hoops in hopes they receive them? or how about the sky fishing rewards people aren’t receiving. granted it may just effect a small group but still. also spaces not loading properly that various users have experienced over the past few weeks, will that be fixed?

      The fall coats are going to stay for the time being until we know you’ve all had a fair chance to get them. We will make an announcement in the PlayStation Home forums when there is more to learn. In the meantime, many users are finding success by deleting the Home cache. While in Home, hit Start > Options > Settings > Personal > Clear Cache.

    Sounds like a nice update, with that being said, when is Sony going to fix the clothing merges? I’m getting sick of my PS3 being frozen, At least you should be able to track these people somehow and turn their PS3’s into $300.00 paper weights.

    All these Home games seem to be really clunky and not that fun to play (there are exceptions). I mean I get the whole idea behind cross marketing but we all know developers can do way better than what Home seems to get stuck with. Most of the time seems to be spent on more clothes and furniture and personal spaces that cost a lot and add a couple passive items and one or two active ones into the mix. I get that Home developers need money but just make better games that don’t require a ton of microtransactions to play. It is a cool social space but people that don’t want to spend money on aesthetic based items and want to play games still seem to be getting jipped on the whole experience.

      If you mean retro-styled instead of clunky, that is often on purpose. 8-bit gaming is a very fun format that pulls on many of our sentimental gamer heart strings. But you’re right, Home is powerful and can support a vast range of games, as seen from something as simple as Scribble Shooter all the way to Sodium One or Sodium 2. It really depends on the developer as to what level of complexity they want to put into each game.

      Don’t worry, there are many games in development now that I’m sure you will love.

    When will I get my Aurora reward for catching the Collossus? I have caught everything and gotten all rewards except that one. Ive caught it multiple times and now i cant find it anymore. It shows that i have caught it im my fishing book. Will you guys be rewarding it to those who has caught it but has no reward for it with this update?

    Is the animation after the Nathan Drake avatar announcement in the video the actual animation for your avatar? If so looks pretty neat.

    I do hope in the future you all will post this stuff up a tiny bit sooner though. I’m planning on ordering the Uncharted 3 Collector’s Edition tomorrow and might’ve been swayed to preorder through Home for the avatar. However Gamestop is offering the Creepy Crawler kickback for use in Uncharted 3 ushering me to preorder from there. Even if you all can’t get the Total Game Integration in until a closer to release date, offering a way to preorder through Home and receive exclusive unlockables would be good.

      The forward roll and shooting animation seen in the video around 0:58 (when it specifically mentions the “Get A Nathan Drake Outfit W/ Shooting Animation) is the actual custom emote. It’s beyond just “neat.”

      To confirm, you can definitely begin earning rewards, order the game from within Home to get the Nathan Drake pre-order bonus outfit, and start working towards completing all the challenges to earn the Kickback Endurance Booster to enhance your UC3 game play on day 1.

      Though the Nathan Drake outfit with custom shooting animation emote is exclusive to the pre-order promotion, you may definitely get into the TGI starting tomorrow to earn the other rewards and begin working on those challenges to earn the Kickback Endurance Booster.

If you all would allow me to choose which outlet I want to preorder from and Gamestop was on that list, I’d easily preorder through Gamestop via Home, giving me both the Creepy Crawler kickback and Nathan Drake avatar. ;)

    Giving choices too is better for the consumer and could peak more interest in preordering via Home.

    Is this new arcade cabinet going to be locked to use of the owner like that rip-off Scribble Shooter or will it follow the model of past units and be playable by anyone?

    I certainly wont buy it until I know and if it’s locked to use by the owner, I will not be buying period and would urge others to do the same…

    Killzone 3, Dead Island, and now Uncharted 3. All three are games I have no interest in buying for full price, and yet have ordered (or will order, in U3’s case) just for Home items. And then return them… It makes me feel waaay too awkward, considering how awesome Amazon’s service is.

    Hey GlassWalls, Home has been freezing A LOT, that Southern Paradise Beach has the worse LAG , when i arrive , it takes about 10 to 12 mins before i see anyone, and its not my internet connection because i have the fastest internet connection AT&T provides, so please, see if you guys can fix all the freezing and lags .

      If you are having trouble downloading content of any kind in Home right now (avatars, games in spaces like Saucer Pop, etc.), clear the Home cache will take care of the links to our content data networks. In other words, it should be a simple fix.
      To do this, enter any space in Home, then hit Start > Options > Settings > Personal > Clear Cache.

      We are also investigating other issues with lag and metadata, and will announce what we find in the Home forums.

    Hello GlassWalls, good to have you back, as you may or may not know , i havent get my COAT, i think i went to Theater 10 , 23 times and nothing .
    as Ra the sun king said, that new Beach lags a lot or freezes, , The Ratchet and clank and LOOT theater look all white and you fall into nothing .

    Wow, huge update. The Uncharted series is just plain awesome.

    I hope the bugs with the rewards and certain spaces will get fixed soon.

    I also hope that the programmers can put a patch out to stop those malicious glitchers freezing the servers again, it’s such a pain needing to reboot my PS3, not to mention it’s most likely not healthy for it either.

    Heard from a friend PS Home might have some of their games linked to having some trophy awards, that would be neat.

    And when is the Dark Crystal Forest space coming out?

    @MrLakumar – Are you using the code from the Uncharted 3 cup on PSN or at Subway.com? If you’re trying to enter it via PSN the code will not work. You have to go to Subway.com then click on the promotion tab to redeem the code off of the Subway cup for a PSN code for the Uncharted 3 multiplayer.

    BTW… It is NOT a beta. The multiplayer being offered by Subway is the full multiplayer experience. As the weeks progress toward the Uncharted 3 launch date new maps and options will unlock.

    Is there going to be a notice for a fix regarding the autumn theme coats given out for free at Theater 10 (Community Theater) that started last Thursday and was originally going to end tomorrow?

    Many people have been experiencing problems with not receiving those coats and Locust_Star had said the worst case scenario would be to extend this promotion for another week to resolve the problem.

    There are still many people who have not received them and are wasting their time staying at the Theater thinking they’ll receive it and others who only ended up with the male coat and not the female coat.

    We would like a confirmation on a fix and extension if possible please!
