Home Update: New Challenges for UNCHARTED 3 Total Game Integration and Fortune Hunter

The UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception Total Game Integration Event continues this week in PlayStation Home, with new challenges and rewards unlocking this Thursday, October 20th. UNCHARTED 3: Fortune Hunter is the latest Total Game Integration event allowing players to unlock exclusive content in UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception directly from PlayStation Home.

This exclusive game experience is only available in PlayStation Home. Log in today to play the Fortune Hunter game – a third-person adventure game hosted in a partial recreation of the Yemen level from the UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer mode. Progress through these challenges to unlock special PlayStation Home rewards:

Complete Wave 2 – RPG Furniture Reward
Marksman (finish 2 waves with an accuracy greater than 60%) – Dragunov Furniture Reward
Bounty Hunter (Kill a total of 150 enemies) – AK-47 Hand Item Reward
Grenadier (Kill at least 50 enemies by using grenades) – Grenade Hand Item Reward
Money Maker (Get a combined score of 250,000) – G-MAL Assault Rifle Hand Item Reward

Complete all 10 challenges over the course of this three week event to unlock the Kickback Endurance Booster for use in UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception multiplayer when the game releases on November 1st. Players that pre-order UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception directly from PlayStation Home will also receive an exclusive Nathan Drake costume with custom shooting animation for their PlayStation Home avatars!

In other news, the PlayStation Home Mall receives an update this week with Battlefield 3 costumes and items, the Silent Hill HD collection costumes, Halloween costumes from Konami (with custom animations), new additions to Mass Media’s Weird Wear line, new Granzella swimsuits, and a variety of original Halloween costume designs!

Finally, the PlayStation Home Community Theater receives an update this week. Log in this Thursday to watch as Gamer Indepth presents a history of Central Plaza takeovers and looks at the Dead Island, Killzone 3 and UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception Total Game Integration events!

will the rewards for Aurora’s sky fishing be fixed? or the coats in the Community Theater?

  We are aware of the issues some users are experiencing with unlocking rewards and are investigating. There were some fixes that were deployed last week but they require that players use the Clear Cache feature before they will be effective (note: this will not fix every known issue with the rewards system but should help in many cases)
  
  To clear your cache, simply press Start to open your Menu Pad and select Options > Settings > Personal > Clear Cache. Home will close, your cache will be cleared, and then Home will reboot.
  
  We will continue to keep you updated on the official Home Support sub-forum: http://bit.ly/dLGxdp. We ask that you continue to post reports of any technical issues you experience on this sub-forum as well.

really??? are all ur next updates gonna be geared towards this drake game??? I love uncharted have it pre ordered and all but i play HOME 4 wat it is. I need new clothes, spaces, DA NEW HUB, atleast da beta. As much money as ive spent on here i should be in it. my opinion. speaking about money spent i have spent alot as well and still no hub beta code i still want my code i been on here since closed beta and still no code for hub. any way. when is the new beach getting fixed as well every time i go there i almost freeze up and i can’t type to people because of the same thing happening. also are we getting up date to the gift machine as well like EU. home i saw they are getting the black jets in the machine this week so are we getting them too.

Will the FREE Coats from Theater 10 Community Theater be Fixed so we can get them now? At this point many mnay of us can’t get them no matter what we do.

How about moving these Coats to Ceneral Plaza or even put just the Coats in a different Theater but Plaza seems better. That way we could get them as well.

so far about 90% of us can’t get the Coats from Theater 10 the way it is now. This needs a fix or as i said move the coats to the Plaza for now so we can get them also.

  We have moved the coat rewards to Central Plaza in hopes that more players will be able to unlock them there. Worst case scenario, we reintroduce these rewards after the issue has been fixed.

Is the Female Vampiric Costume going to Return this year? It never did last year and i still need my Female Vampiric Hands back the ones with the long red nails. I have the rest of the costume but they took away the nails and i like to get them back.

I could care less about the Uncharted game , is not my type of game , so i dont care for its rewards, however , kinda pointless for Grandzella to make swimsuits when the whole country is heading towards Winter , URBAN clothing is nice , but also bring some casual yet elegant clothing items .
Can any of the developers make a public place like SEASIDE, but twice as WIDE , the new Tropical beach (whatever it is call ) is too SMALL, from side to side , the beach part is way too small, seems to me that whoever is making all these new places are making it look prettier but a lot smaller,.
And something else, Home takes as much time to load , as it used to be before the New and Faster update, it only looks prettier, but still takes the same time to load as before .
Any news about the Recycling Bin AND the Home Gift Machine, (not lockwood gift machine ),the Recycling Bin to get rid of all the stuff we no longer want or use, and the Gift Machine to be able to give away or exchange clothes and items we dont want with our fellow Home users, mainly Friends.

Do anybody has a problem pre-ordering this game from Home? I tried to pre-order it in home, but whenever i get to the check out page and order it. It looks like it was going through at first, but it kept putting me back on the check out page. I check my amazon account, and it didn’t showed up! Has anyone experience the same thing through home, or am i missing something here, because am confused on what happened? But besides that I love the Uncharted T.G.I, and mini game. I can’t wait for Uncharted 3 on November 1 FTW!

Hey L_S,

Super excited about the next phase in the Uncharted 3 T.G.I. , I can’t wait to play wave 2! I also like the cool costumes from Konami, I might just have to pick one of those up. lol
I’ve also been having trouble with getting the coat from the theater, but I’ll take your suggestions into action after the update, of clearing the cache, and trying the theater & central plaza to get the coat.
As for the Hub beta, I’ve heard from a HCV Guide that users were randomly chosen to be part in the beta. Ihaven’t gotten access to the beta, but I’d really like to. If this information I heard is true though, why would you decide to allow some people, who might not even care about The Hub, nor even visit the place.. rather then choose from the dedicated long time Home users. I just hope you haven’t put the Hub’s testing process in the hands of the ones who run around acting foolish, and causing disturbances in Home. I still await access the the Beta, and I’m looking forward to it.
Other than that, this looks like a great update.

Before PS Home goes totally live (out of Beta) you guys should reeeaaally consider making a Back clothing/equipment spot and separating all those backpack/wing/shirt combinations into individual items.

Then you, ya know, can start selling Back items. Backpacks, jetpacks, wings, etc.

Because a lot of the existing items have something cool on the back and something kinda uncool for the shirt.

@19 Well I’m guessing the huge breast are there for a purpose, because we have got to save the TATAS! I’m glad to see we will be getting Battlefield 3 costumes tomorrow as the game is only around the corner. I’m loving the new halloween costumes also this looks like a good update. I was disappointed that Sony didn’t do anything other than put out the same stuff for breast cancer month that they released last year. They could have at least offered the Drew Brees jersey if they didn’t want to put out anything new. So research would have received some new money from the people that bought the save the ta-tas items last year.

I see the same old “clear cache” idea that never solved anything is still being passed off as the solution to the rewards problem. Personally I don’t much care about that item, but many people do so tech support for them should be better. Fact is tech support for home needs to be loads better. The way it is now is inadequate. I’ve said it before but 3years on and still beta is just sloppy. Little wonder so many are not returning to home and no longer spending money there.

I think I see where i went wrong, my final scores for each level must together be equal to or greater than 250,000. I was under the impression it was overall points. Also I have no idea what my scores even are i have no idea what 11034e+05 means. Nothing in the instuctions seems to explain it either.

LOCUST! Sorry to bother you, but the Halloween section of the costumes store is currently not working. Whenever I select the Warlock costume, the Werewolf Mask, or the Zombie Mask, it shows Error in the price area and in the Add to Cart button. I’m not having this issue in any other section of the store, so I’m pretty sure it’s not something wrong with my internet. I’ve even tried restarting Home, exiting and re-entering the store, etc. Please get this fixed a.s.a.p.

As Usual, these updates come with Problems. I just Purchased the WITCH costume , i got my receipt online , but my costume is nowhere to be found , i went back to the store and its as if i never bought it , all these problems are endless, now im trying to download all my personal spaces and is taking forever, the service in Home is less than satisfactory , if someone was giving a trophy for the worse service provider , Home devs are in the front of the pack, FIX THIS .
Im looking at my other items to see if they are not magically missing , i have all my email receipts, just so you know .

as per the norm, the one thing I was looking forward to in this update was the witch costume which home was more than glad to take my money for and not give me. smh! as usual we’re supposed to look to the blogs and forums for help with these issues but help is non-exhistant -_-
