It’s 11.1.11 and we are pleased to announce that UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception officially storms store shelves in North America today!
Nathan Drake’s latest outing will force him to confront some of his deepest fears as he sets off on a globe-trotting journey that leads him into the heart of the Arabian Desert in search of the fabled “Atlantis of the Sands.” You’ve seen the power of fire (Chateau level), air (Cargo Plane level), water (Cruise Ship level), and most recently sand (Desert Village level) in the game. The Dogs strove to outdo themselves in all facets of production, as we aimed to innovate upon the core tenants of the UNCHARTED franchise.
Keeping the narrative compelling and the characters authentic and relatable while delivering a top-notch cinematic experience was paramount to our past success and the foundation of where we wanted to go when we undertook the blockbuster task of building UNCHARTED 3. Pushing the capability of the PlayStation hardware and using a myriad of technical innovations, we took our in-game physics, particle effects, and visuals to a whole new level. Aside from these elements, we strove to make Drake feel even more connected to his surroundings as players move through different situations in different environments. To that end we integrated high-resolution stereoscopic 3D into the architecture of the game. You owe it to yourself to experience the full stereoscopic 3D gaming UNCHARTED 3 has to offer. We feel you and your eyes will be delighted.
Additionally, the competitive and co-op multiplayer is more robust than ever with many gameplay refinements and the inclusion of those cliffhanger active cinematic experiences that can only be found in the UNCHARTED universe. Hopefully you had a chance to play some of the full multiplayer during the Subway Taste for Adventure promotion and you’re now ready, locked and loaded for the November 1st rollout of the full retail release. We’ll be updating and refining our multiplayer experience together as we all hit the maps for some fortune hunting.
Along with the retail release of the game we’re announcing day-one DLC will be available as well. Three classic skin packs featuring a grand total of 25 character skins from UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune and UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves will hit PSN as downloadable items for your UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer experience. Members of the Fortune Hunters’ Club will be getting these three classic skin packs for free and a second dose of DLC is just around the corner—very close, in fact – so if you haven’t become a member of the club yet now is an ideal time to do so.

Yes! You can play the co-op missions and competitive multiplayer split-screen.
I’m pretty disappointed by the fact that all 3 skin packs in the Fortune Hunters Club are recycled skins from Uncharted 2 that I’ve already paid for in that game. 4 map packs and 3 skin packs sounded like a great deal, 4 maps and a bunch of reused skins is less of a deal to me. I assumed that they would be NEW skins, I’m sure most others assumed the same thing.

I don’t have my rank from the beta! I was rank 26 I think, but when I joined the multiplayer today, it said I was rank 1 with no unlock! Did I play the beta for hours for nothing?
I’m a bit confused about this Fortune Hunter’s Club. I bought it the day it was released on the PSN but when I check in the add-on content area it doesn’t have the “bag” icon on it stating I purchased it. However, the free DLC is there for me to download. I know I already bought it because I have the “Fortune Hunter’s Theme” that came with purchasing to join the club.
If I have to repurchase this, I will severely be angry because I would have literally thrown away $25. So if any light can be shed on this case, I would greatly appreciate it.

The Beta was just for testing, it doesn’t have anything to do with the final game. And the bonus content from playing the Beta will go to your PSN email account to redeem in the PSN store.
Nevermind, the “bag” icon showed up after I downloaded the free DLC. That worried me there for a bit.

Where is my doughnut skin and i never received any Fortune Hunters theme! It is pretty lame that the skins are from the previous games, I never really buy skins but since it was like a season pass type deal I bought it (thank God I hadn’t bought them previously for one or two, so I don’t feel that cheated but it is still wrong to try and wring every penny out of the consumer with these tactics. Whatever happened to buying a game that had hidden content or unlockable by completing certain tasks or achievements?
I’ve made it halfway through Uncharted 3 so far, and it’s great.
However, on the Multiplayer side I am disappointed by the big drop of “Day 1 DLC”. What makes it even worse is that I’ve already bought all the DLC for Uncharted 2, and most of the skins are the same as the Uncharted 2 DLC! Is there any way you could make these skins FREE for people who already own Uncharted 2/Uncharted 2 DLC? Because IMO this game is turning into a Call of Duty (DLC wise). I don’t mind DLC, as long as it isn’t constantly milked out, because I’d like to get it, but this is a little bit ridiculous.

Yo! Played that new Infamous game with move controls and I really dug it. And seeing as this game is very similar to that in terms of controls and perspective, I could see Uncharted also playing very well with Move controls. Maybe something to consider in a patch, could make the game that much more fun!
Based on the first three free Classic Skin packs alone, I don’t think it’s worth the $45 price tag. Granted you’re only paying $25 but skins are mostly from UC2. If you add all three Classic Skin packs together; they cost less than $15, which means the maps would cost around $30. Those four maps better be brand new maps and not the Museum, Highrise, Facility, and Molten Ruins we saw in Subway Beta. :(

hi, i bought my sony wireless headphones like 6 days ago and my receiver doesnt work anymore ,but its not because its defective. a friend of mine dropped it and it got scratches now ,and the light wont turn on and the headphones wont connect. Does the waranty apply? Do you guys take it and repair them? can you guys sell separately?

Fortune Hunters Club Pass – I feel like a “SUCKER” right now. The Classic Skins packs (555 kb each skin) are not DLC, but ULC(Unlockable Content). I guess you guys copy Capcom & EA methods. Hopefully, the next DLC pack is “ACTUAL DLC.”

Ugh, I really wish they would cast Jeffrey Donovan to be Nathan Drake in the movie, and get the ball rolling quite soon with it. I just finished U3 main story today, and i must say, if we can’t have Nolan North play Nate, then… well… I STILL REALLY WANT TO SEE THE MOVIE, SO JUST GO WITH JEFFREY DONOVAN, HIM AND NATHAN FILLION ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT COULD PULL IT OFF!!!!!

I going to save up for the limited edition version of this game, because it comes with a mini statue of Nate and a
sweet kind of case and an authentic weapon I think that u can download on the game. Plus my power up rewards pro card. By the way, anyone who doesn’t have this should get it because it gives u lifetime points, discounts, and a subscription to game informer for 1 year. And it’s all for $14.99 a year to sign back up. And the points card just gives u points, but that ones free, but still u want the discount card for $14.99 a year instead of that points crap!

It’s been over a week. Still waiting on my beta e-mail. Should be getting all rewards. No one seems to be explaining how this is working: how e-mails are sent out, why some get theirs before others, etc. Doesn’t seem to be alphabetically and it’s not by what level you were in the beta. One way or the other, I can’t believe people (myself included) are still waiting on their beta e-mails while people who barely even touched the beta got theirs already.

I bought this game of a guy on Craigslist, but he all ready use the online code for it is there anyway that i can get it back cuz i dont think is fair that i have to pay for it again I allready paid for the game I dont want to pay for online play this isnt xbox live.
