This Thursday, November 10th PlayStation Home will be updated with a variety of virtual items, exclusive videos, expansions to popular community events, and even a huge upgrade to one of the most popular games on the platform. Those of you that own the mega-popular Scribble Shooter – the top-down, shoot ‘em up arcade-style game known for its addictive gameplay and unique art style – will now be able to share the game with your friends. This additional functionality was developed based upon the feedback of the PlayStation Home community, and we’re proud to release this totally free upgrade to all Scribble Shooter fans effective immediately. Enjoy!

Players that go to the newly-opened Pier Park will find that a new level of the classic Turkey Chase event has been released complete with brand new rewards. For those unfamiliar with this PlayStation Home tradition, the premise is simple: In celebration of the impending Turkey Day, players that approach the gathering of turkeys in Pier Park will enter into a game wherein you chase a bunch of wily turkeys around the space (word to the wise: these turkeys are quite cunning so you’d better bring appropriate footwear). If you can manage to catch them all, you will unlock Thanksgiving-themed rewards that are sure to make you an object of envy amongst your peers. Sound borderline insane? Of course it does – which is exactly why we are doing it!

Those of you that visit the new PlayStation Home Mall this week will find some killer deals in our Fall Blowout sale, which has the price being reduced on a ton of classic items.     isn’t Sodium 2 also getting an update tomorrow? and isn’t there supposed to be a fix for the Aurora reward issue?

      Sodium 2 update is coming at a later date – we’re looking at next week but we will confirm in next week’s blog post for sure. There is no update for Aurora planned for this week. We are continuing to investigate reports of rewards not unlocking and are working with our development team on a fix.

    bring back old central plaza it isnt the same. you could add it as a space of its own in navigator or sell it to us as a personal space that would be cool. its not the same getting on home and its not there anymore

      If you want to visit the Plaza, you can always play the Killzone 3 and Dead Island TGIs, both of which are hosted in stylized versions of the Plaza.

      No Edo Lounge planned for this week. This week we have some furniture and clothing items coming from Granzella and we are continuously working with the Granzella team to get more of their content in SCEA Home.

      Yes it is an active item. I don’t have the exact track count on hand but am working to get that answer.

      There isn’t a set schedule for quests – we will publish them as they are developed – but suffice it to say we will be releasing many quests in the coming weeks/months/years.

    Locust… Can u tell us if or when were gonna get the LOCO ROCO Mui Mui Companion? Japan and Asia got the Mui Mui Companion long ago for people who bought Loco Island and Some item’s from Loco Roco space. Well that was long long ago. I been waiting for the USA to get this update or Item for a long time now…

    Are we getting this Mui Mui Companion and when?

    How about the Red Eyes for our Avtars from the Infamous Festival of Blood… EU got Red Vampire eyes for FREE for there Male and Female avatars in HOME. So how about bring those RED Vampire eyes to USA HOME as well?

    Ugh, another boom box?! We need some CLASSICAL music. Enough of the rap and rock nonsense. Myself and many others want classical music.

    Diesel needs to be updated with the beach crib apartment and clothing/furnature from EU. Granzella needs to update with the beach apartment in JP.

    This update is very bad.

    Friends that do not own Scribble Shooter will be able to play the full game now. But friends that do not own the game will not be able to get the rewards for Scribble Shooter. Is that true? If it is true will there be another update that allows friends to get all the rewards?

    Oooh also, the music at the scoreboards in the bootleggers game is fabulous. The 1920s era music. Please make a radio of that available for purchase. Many people would buy that, it is a sure fire hit.

    as i said last week, i bought the Phantom 5000 Beat Machine Foolishly thinking i would party out with the so call 20 Hip Hop Beats, to my surprise, each beat last for 10 Seconds, next time, whoever does the descriptions on the items, should clarify and have a BETTER description, Will not be buying the Fearless Records Boombox.
    Its been a week since the Hub opened and still gets me P.O with all the freezes and Network Errors, as i said before, Home has a better face but the same old problems, today i tried to get into the Ferris wheel 3 times and each time was a bit of lag then Network Errors.
    I could care less about those saying “oh but Home is a free service” , i rather pay for a Quality Service without weekly problems, and Home is not so FREE service , because after all, i do a lot of shopping every thursday, and the money that all of us worlwide are putting into Home , goes into their pockets and also for them to create VIRTUAL items.

    dont waste your money on fake items, go buy yourself a (real) nice pair of shoes ones that you can actually wear instead of a virtual pair. nobody really cares about the newest virtual thing that you bought. tits basically like throwing away your hard earned money you’ll never get it back. that is all… ready for all the haters!!

    You forgot to mention that although Scribble Shooter will now be available to friends, your friends can’t win the rewards. I don’t know why this game has to be different from others in that way………wait, yes I do.

    Well even though those 2 are stylized as the old plaza, they are a MESS , is like saying , go to such Hospital , but that hospital is all broken down and an absolute wreck , its not the same .

    When does the 2 active items is gonna go up ? oh wait, i know, “stay Tune ” ” we are working on it ” ” no news at this time ” same for the 50 items or less , as well as the changing clothes without leaving a friend`s personal space , etc etc etc

    Hi Locust_Star:

    I agree and so do alot of other people on Home, would love a personal version of CP. We would like it without the modifications and just regular everyday CP. I am sure you have heard this thousands of times but, we would love to be able to have more than just 2 active items in personal spaces, seeing that there is always new actives coming out at regular intervals, maybe double the amount available per space to start out with. As for RC Rally, I was wondering if you are adding new content and rewards soon?

    I’m liking the new Home. Bootleggers ’29 and the RC Rally are definitely my new favorite spaces. But will you ever bring back Saucer Pop? That mini game was epic. Me and a lot of my friends loved playing that together.

    hey OK i been on the play station home forums for about a week and a half no telling modes about the new burn zombie burn pets there’s something wrong with them when i bring him out i can see him but only i can no one else i figured since the modes are doing their jobs wrong in their i would come file it over to the real people anyways thanks for your time and hope to have a replies

    All game related events and items in Home are the responsibility of their individual Developers and Producers. If Skyrim has been neglected, it not the fault of those folks at Home.

    One thing we can do as gamers is to contact the Developers of games and franchises that we support and ask them to become a part of Home. Give them a list of all of the pluses. Make it look good.

    scribble shooter is a fun game and this update of it is cool , but not letting people win the prizes is epic FAIL! i bought the game solely so that others who can’t afford it could play and get prizes . please quit being so greedy !

    ok I want to know why after i have reset my modem and called Sony and went through the whole walk through with the sony support on the phone I still keep getting error code 80710092 when i sign onto home along with about 5 other error codes ???

    SONY has to team up with NIKE, NEW ERA, ADIDAS, REEBOK, and also need to add trophies to their HOME games!

    How sweet would it be if we can dress our avatars with NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB jerseys? How about rock your avatar with a sweet pair of MJ’s, or the new Kobe’s that are suppose to come out this year (Kobe VIIs). I want to have my avatar is some MLB New Era hats too! Why is it taking so long for these things to happen??

    Also add trophies to HO<ME games! I don't see how hard that can be……….

    I dont mind the idea of getting rid of some of the old items in the store as long as they remain in our inventory. it makes it easier to scroll throught he hundreds of items inthe stores if the stuff no one is buying anymore isnt in the way.

    While I kinda like the new Home spaces and the concept of a world of connected spaces, it’s kinda lacking. When in the bowling alley, the entryway shows the old central plaza which doesnt exist anymore. When walking through the exit it takes you to the hub which has no entrance back into the bowling alley, It’s should at least link to the Pier since that’s the closest things to the old CP in the new version of Home.The action space also feels kinda cramped, on the map it looked like half of Manhattan! Maybe it could be expanded with storefronts that link to each game, (actually ALL the spaces feel like they could be expanded. Heck the old mall felt more expansive than any of these available outdoor areas, which seems wrong to me) The preview video promises way more than what’s being delivered. The sections look massive when viewed on the map but become dinky one block areas once you get inside.

    Nice update, too bad the Hamster outfit is going to be gone. Especialy since Hamster Freedom, a respected club of hamster headed furry peacefull people, just like the Echochrome suited Homelings, now here is my question. Will you remove the Echochrome arcade too? If not, than please leave the Hamster outfit as it is thank you.
    Getting rid of the old stuff is one thing, but why random stuff and not the really crappy looking stuff?
