I don’t think you were understanding my beef correctly. I meant team up as in a bunch of humans. As #19 (mik) pointed out… we are talking about having more than 2 humans playing at the same time.

For instance, for the last year + with NBA 2k10 (and now 2k11) there has been a group of 6-10 of us (depending on the night) that hop on and setup a private, unranked match where we split up and play 3v3 or 2v5 or whatever (the actual game is 5v5, of course, with the CPU taking the other slots). We have a ton of fun doing this… but it’s been absolutely bewildering why we couldn’t do this with the legends teams. The argument that legends teams would mess up ranked matches had absolutely no bearing on us as we weren’t playing ranked matches. You would think in unranked you would allow people to set up the game however they want. I mean, isn’t that kinda the point of unranked?

Anyway, i played this DLC this morning and there is, as far as I can tell, no way to play with legends, online, with more than 2 human players. So anyone who does quick-rank teamup or private unranked matches like me and my friends are still left out in the cold.

Up to ten players can play online with each other–each of them assuming the role of one player. So, I play as the PG, my friend is the PF, and we play against three other friends who are playing as the other team’s PG, SG, and C, for example. It’s the multiplayer mode my friends and I always play–the only mode, in fact. But we’d like to be able to play it with Legends teams, and we can’t as of now. Does the DLC offer that? ”

We all want to play online team play with our friends at the SAME time online with the Legends!

What’s the work around for this in the new DLC?

How do we keep the My2kAccount from deactivating everytime I turn on 2k12? It always tells me to activate the account via email, but even though I did, it didn’t do anything to keep it from deactivating and having to manually do it everytime I start 2k12
