Thanks for another week of great updates!
luvs it
Initial PS+ subscriptions end mid-December and it’s kind of going out with a whimper.
Will buying any of the Three Sly games install the Trophy list for the mini-game too?
thanks.
Daaaamn that PSP store is bangin’! My PSPgo explodes with delight.
I want Skyrim avatars, like female Argonian and female Khajiit. Skyrim was released Nov 11 and Sony did NOTHING to promote it, it`s shameful and makes me embarrassed to be a Sony user. You guys went all out for Killzone and Uncharted 3, and overboard with stupid Street Fighter, but NOTHING for the best game of them all! It`s an outrage and I`m hating Sony right now -_-
PS3 Legacy: 3
PS2 Legacy: 1
PS1 Legacy: 1
PSP Legacy: 0
PCE Legacy: 0
That is better than usual. Nice job. Looks like that game rating trolling is continuing. All of the Sly games and de Blob 2 got hit with 1 stars. I guess it balances out the people that instantly rate things a 5. Such a broken system.
The only new-new things are a pair of PSN games. Nothing for Minis or PSP. So ignoring the legacy stuff this is a pretty bad update. Only a single demo and just a couple of videos makes this remind me of barebones updates of the past. There’s only a couple of new special offers to boot which is pretty weak. Not much to see or say here.
In which case I’ll give this a 2.5 out of 5 stars. Average update is average. Not bad, not great. Inoffensive.
Legend of Dragoons pleaseee!
Sly Cooper minigames?
pretty small update for the week after Thanksgiving. Why?
Epic as always
For me the last two weeks have sucked, I didnt even get a demo to play.
December 6ths should hopefully be good cause of the RAGE demo.
Not much for me this week, but that’s okay – have plenty of stuff backlogged to play!
Are avatars becoming more expensive now? That’s pathetic.
For anyone who buys the LittleBigPlanet 2 Oddworld Munch Costume, the latest DLC patch hasn’t been released yet, so it won’t show up in-game until it does.
Did I just read that right? There’s an Opeth track for Rockband? *Time to find my dusty, rarely used RB guitar and rip into that s***. Other than that, what a horribly boring update.
Thanks for the update. Not much for me this week… so, since ReptileHand loved it so much last week, I’ll repost my wish list!
Any info on MGS: Peace Walker HD being offered seperately on PSN?
Speaking of sales…
1. Motorstorm Pacific Rift DLC.
2. Mirror’s Edge DLC.
3. Blade Kitten.
Sales, or price reductions, on these would be appreciated!
And I’d like to see these on PSN aswell.
1. The very first teaser trailer for FFXIII-2.(the teaser that showed only Lightning and mystery dude.)
2. The TV commercial for Heavenly Sword. (Old I know, but please! You don’t even have to announce it.)
3. The E3 2010 “debut” trailer for Rayman Origins. (Hilarious!)
I’d like to see the english version of VIB Ribbon released on PSN, with the ability to access all our music. And a release of Ori no Ryouri in english or original would be fun. Maybe Monkey Claw could get on that.
Have a great week!
BTW: Thanks for the Fall Sale…picked up Galaga and Limbo (that’s twice I’ve bought this great game!)
We need God of War avatars from all of the games.
@Feral_Dragon Why would sony promote Skyrim? They promoted Uncharted and Killzone because they made them.
Ok sony, that MW2 price is ridiculous and you know it. I bought it for like $15 USED this summer to try the online mode. Sony this is despicable. Now to find ino on the Warhammer game.
Sony should let us upload our own pics for avatars. They can`t honestly be worried about the mature content people might put up if they can keep offering disgusting half nude girls themes and wallpapers in the store. But if they want to be hypocrites then they should have a site where we can upload pics for our avatars and they could monitor them.
Oops! I mean Monkey Paw Games, not Monkey Claw. Cheers!
@yazter
I don’t see why it would since the mini-games are exclusive to the retail release. They installed from the disc rather than the individual games so probably not.
@Feral_Dragon
Why promote a game that features game ending bugs on the PS3?
@Oowamoowa
Now? Avatars have always been grossly overpriced. Considering their size, limited functionality, and that they serve only to advertise games they should’ve been free from the start.
Just want to clarify: De Blob 2 is PlayStation Move compatible, right? I thought I heard that it is somewhere. With or without Move support: $10 for PS+ members is a real good deal! Definitely going to pick it up!
Magic the Gathering 2012 Expansion pack 2
WHERE IS IT???????
@CyborgGreyFox Because its a huge and great game. They went nuts for Street Fighter, giving us SF avatars every week all year long. They have themes and wallpapers for every other game, not just PS3 exclusives. So why absolutely nothing for Skyrim?
Thanks to give us old & new games. But I want to suggest more discounts on the PSN games & DLC. It was amazing the discount on SPLIT SECOND, now DE BLOB 2 . . . but what about PURE, Splinter Cell HD, etc. I prefer to buy on the PSN more than retail store, but if the price is the same (and I need space on my HDD), maybe I will back to buy on the retail store.
Nothing interesting this week. Hopefully next week.
Not a bad update I’m sure, just not a whole lot for me (personally) to get excited
@megamixer: I haven’t been paying much attention to the costs of avatars (nor the Store content), sorry about that. I always remembered them being 25 cents and while I thought at the beginning that an image below 100 kb should be free, I wanted to give Sony the benefit of a doubt so they could somewhat make up for the free online.
But honestly, this is just unacceptable. I’d like to hear what Sony has to say about the ridiculous pricing.
Sly Cooper 1 and 2!! Here i come
When do the LittleBigPlanet 2 Muppets costume and level pack come out?
Duels of the Planeswalker 2012 Expansion pack 2 still MIA…Any word on an ETA Sony Employees?
another lame update
i got a feeling their keeping all the nice new options for plus for like the 2nd week of december right when us first year subs expire
i dont see plus doing that much better after all these dry weak updates
Don’t really care for anything on here.39.99 really for modern warfare 2 game u can get a physical copy at gamestop for 19.99 ! breath of Fire 3 on here soon plzzzzzzz
I’ve heard there’s been some issues with the Duels of the Planeswalker deck bundle. Any update on that at all?
Glad to see demos for the Sly Cooper games since I’ve never played them. If I buy them, however, I’ll pick up the BD since it’s cheaper than on PSN, it also saves 20 gigs of HD space, and I’m steadily running out! I’ll Also be trying out Voltron, can’t pass that one up.
I just want to throw this out there super quick, but if you guys get Dark Cloud 1 and 2 on PSN for the PS2 Classics thing a lot of people will be happy. Level-5 does some great stuff, but White Knight Chronicles doesn’t hold a candle to Dark Cloud.
Can we get some more Dynamic Themes on sale please?
Are all 3 Sly Games in 3D on the Disc Version of the Sly Collection? Or is it only the Download version?
The downloadable Sly Collection is the same as the downloadable Sly Collection on the disc.
