Why is the Sly Cooper Bundle actually more exensive (by 2 cents) than the separate games? I even got the collection on Blu-ray for 20$ in store, brand new…

10$ for them separately, fine, we’re used to stand alone things to be more expensive, but 30$ is a little much for the bundle.

@Oowamoowa
Looking back at the very first paid avatars (LBP) it would seem the price has always been $0.49. Its been over two years since their introduction. I doubt Sony will ever comment on their pricing at this point.

@John-Shooter
You worry to much. Remember Qores second year? It was way better than the first!.. Except for the fact that it was way, way worse.

@JumpMan33
Yes they are. 3D is on the games boxart.

@rostin79
Bundles have been like that on PSN for a long, long time.

@Zezzler
Games that were previously only released at retail.

@Big-Bad-Boss
Look at all of the people with paid avatars and + symbols next to their names. Or the shovelware with measily discounts that sold out instantly on Amazons recent lightning deals. People will buy anything at any price.

@Bladesofgold
Given the proposed price of Vita memory cards I know I’ll be waiting much longer than a year to get one :o

Begin Rant…

I always find it annoying when you can buy all the single packs for cheaper than the full pack. 29.97 < 29.99. I know it's only 3 cents but you should save money if you buy the entire pack. Also, Sly is 19.99 at Bestbuy for the full Bluray and if you price match it at Futureshop its 18.99. Kinda seems crazy to spend 30 on a digital download that I can't sell later one.

End Rant….

Thx for the update

* Wouldn't it be nice for Christmas if Sony did the same that EA Origin just did. 50% off 200 of their titles…Come on Sony…you can do it!

I’m sorry, but these PS2 Classics choices fell so… random
I mean, when they came out, I was really excited, because It had friggin Odin Sphere in it
But… After that, none of them were really good games.

I would love to buy more of then, but you guys should work on releasing more “wanted” games…
I mean, I would definely buy a PS2 “Megaman X” Game, because I really miss that series so much

You keep on ranting on each ‘Update’ post, But it’s not easy uploading more than 50 Gigs worth of content you know. I’d like to see you just try and upload 1 Gig in less than a day. If you can, let me know. They need a break too, so just give them a break. The’ve announced that there goal is to add PS3 full games to their library so they can expand more. I think it’s a great idea since my laser dosn’t work and I have to buy them from PSN by force. My laser was broke since the moment I bought it and you don’t see me ranting on Sony.
P.S. Nice update Sony :)

I’ve never owned a 360 so the answer to that is no. As a matter of fact I’m not a cheerleader for any coporation. The amount of time and money I’ve spent on PS3/PSP/PSN would probably make your head spin. I don’t owe them “good reviews” just because.

As for the Sly games I found the first one to be the best. The other two focused less on platforming and less on Slys gameplay.

@KrisZeakKoncept
I don’t… what? Are you on a 28.8kb modem? Even on my middling internet speeds I could upload several gigs in a days time. 50+ should be nothing for a company with business-class connection, or Fios. What you think is a good idea is something Sony started years ago when they released Warhawk at retail and PSN on the same date. They never followed through while others took the idea and ran with it. Now they’re playing catchup to something they started. That is deserving of ridicule.

@morris1129
“and I don’t think anybody cares.”
That would be implying anyone cared to begin with :D

+ ShadowOfEden on November 29th, 2011 at 4:12 pm said:

@NorthernLitez
It’s not about being 2 cents more. It’s about being more expensive for a BUNDLE. Most other bundles out on the PSN are cheaper than the sum of their parts. It’s to incite people to buy them all instead, since it is a better deal. The bundle should be 25$. I even got the bundle for 20$ on Blu-Ray, brand new!

You can’t tell him to stop commenting or giving his ‘reviews’ (even though how annyoing it is >_<'). The comment box is there for a reason and so is the "Post comment" box too. So i'm gunna go with megamixer on this one. He has the liberty to do so, the 'Blog' was made so you can express your opinions and it actually helps Sony in a way.

PS+ is such a waste of money, I certainly won’t be renewing mine. Full Game trials are a joke (they have a dated expiration), the mini games are uneventful (most are just flash remakes) and typically the free games are really bad games that no one wants. Qore is rather useless unless you like the ‘behind the scenes’ presentation, I never watch them anymore.

I’ve only gotten maybe 3 games from PS+ that I was happy to receive.

Well it’s a good thing I finally have time to start playing Skyrim; waited for that patch to fix things up. Sony, I love you guys, but you don’t spend enough money promoting games other than Uncharted on TV; stop wasting money putting MW1 & 2 on the store and exnay the Street Fighter overkill. You have a huge stake in the entertainment biz; use that advantage!
