Need to quit wasting money on porting the old games and re-release the backwards compatibility code. Would be ALOT EASIER!! The extra money used for it could go towards updating the browser or other MUCH NEEDED updates…..

Wanted to thank you guys for getting out these games when you did.

4. NBA Jam: On Fire Edition
5. PAYDAY: The Heist

Hours of game play for a great price. I can’t wait to see what PS2 games are up next for the ps3, considering a lot of the PS2 games have hours of replay time. Thanks again.

It is a shame new ps3 owners will not get to enjoy the greatness of the Turtles in Time reshelled psn downloadable game. Playstation did not renew the license a while back and they had to take it down. Glad I got my copy when I got my ps3.

Cool. But here’s a question for anyone that can answer. I own all the original PSone games on this list from my PS1 days. I realize that most of them work just fine on the PS3 but a couple of them had some issues in them when played on the PS3. Since they are on the PSN store now, I assume those issues have been fixed. But were the issues fixed in the PS3s PS1 Backwards compatiable software or the actual PS1 game?

So basically what I am wondering is if the originals will now play correctly, when some, like Final Fantasy II had crashers in them before they were released on PSN? Don’t want to rebuy what I already bought back in the PS1 days. Of course I can play them on my PS1 or PS2, but it would be cool to be able to play them all on the PS3 where the image is cleaned up a bit and plays through HDMI… ;-)

It’s such a shame that Phantasy Star Portable 2 got pulled from the PSN even though it was the 5th best selling game on the PSP last month :( I was planning on buying it when I had finished some of the backlog of PSP games I have. I wish they had let us know that they were removing it, that way I would have bought it. Does anyone know the reason it’s no longer there? It makes me sad… Luckily there are still so many great games still on the PSN.
