Why is Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas on the Drop this week? I have all ready downloaded it and played my Free game trial of it months ago. These look like pretty good deals! I have $30 left over from 7 months ago. I really enjoyed the E-mail I got saying that I have not bought anything from PSN in the past 6 months. But I’m still scared to buy anything fearing it will be offer to Plus users for FREE?

Dude, just buy Sky Drift for the $14.99 price. The game is amazing. It’s worth every penny of the price, and the development team definitely deserves every penny they could possibly earn from it. It’s one of the best downloadable games I’ve ever bought. I purchased it on day one and still play it on a regular basis (just played it again yesterday and unlocked few more achievements), and enjoy it immensely every time.
Oh yeah, also, all those other games you listed there are also worth every penny of the full price, so you shouldn’t feel bad about it. At least you can feel good knowing that you’re supporting and contributing to the future of this great industry by not being such a penny-pincher who only buys games when they go on sale. Your financial support helps put food in bellies of developers’ children, and I guarantee you that they appreciate that. ;)
Burnout Crash! is another one of the best DL games I’ve bought. Completely worth $9.99. Love that game.
I remember when I finally got around to buying Red Dead Redemption (on Blu-Ray) it was still $59.99 and I paid that price. Then, no joke, ONLY 2 DAYS LATER, the price dropped to $39.99. And it didn’t bother me one bit because RDR is worth every penny of the $60+ tax that I, and many others, paid for it. I don’t feel shafted at all. It’s a phenomenal game. A masterpiece.

Some great stuff on here at (really) great prices (for PS+). One trifle…I paid $36 in October what would be ~$18 today…these sorts of sales are great for those who didnt pick something up, but will encourage me to wait when new releases come out.

you can take “12 for 12” away and give games like bastion or super meat boy at full price and you are probably going to sell more

Dear Playstation, I went to go buy Payday: The Heist for 50% off but it charged me full price anyway. What gives? I tried to get a 50% credit from billing and customer support but they had no idea what I was talking about. I told them that I saw this blog post and it said effective the next day, we could get these deals. Argh!

Hmm. Nothing that grabbed me and shook me, but I will at least be checking out all the demos this week. I was really hoping to see Deathspank: The Baconing on there, but we all have our random games we wanted to see; can’t please them all.
Okabu seemed pretty fun, but perhaps repetitive when I played the demo. So, at 7.50 the debating will begin anew. Will see if there are demo’s for a lot of these (and if they rock then debatage).

I like 50%, but whenever I compare with Steam I wonder why they don’t get lower on PS+. Maybe the game companies are a little more stingy with Sony because it isn’t expected like with Steam? *shrug*
@shermanlai Well all sales that the PS Store has ever had in the past have not gone in effect til that weeks store update. Now they never mentioned the actual time of day on any sale postings I have read so you might be able to still get the sale price if you talk to Sony customer service. I would cross my fingers though, cause that seems like a grey area to me. I always just waited until the store updated on the day of the sale since the prices are reflected at that time in the store itself.
Really had high hopes for this 1 eh maybe next update. ATTN: MOD Please have the marketing guys do some research b4 selling ps3 full games almost always 10 to 20 dollars more than big box stores. Please take this as constructive criticism not a bash it is a convenience to dl vs driving to the store but the question is how much of a convenience . The Playstation Store has yet to update so that’s why MK Arcade Kollection is still $9.99. It should update later on today.

I was just talking to my friend how the old fight games were better than the new ones I played, Mortal Kombat Arcade Kolection will be the first one I’ll download :) I’m getting the street fighter, rocketbirds and dungeon defenders too. I don’t know why people gave such a bad note for rocketbirds on gamespot but it looks like the old Abbes World so it should be awesome. I downloaded the dungeon defenders on my pc to see if the game was good and it looks pretty entertaining too. I’m happy with the selection but I was expecting some games like the god of war 1 and 2 HD or something like that. But I’m getting those anyway cause after playing the god of war 3 I totally change my mind about the series. Just a question, does anybody knows where I can see how much time I got of Plus remaining? Was looking in the console but can’t see to find it in there. Thanks for the games sony :)
i have a question im thinking on getting dugeon defenders but thise is my question i have a psn shopping account and my main account i wana play the game on my main account rather then my shopping account cane i do that or is just for 1 psn account i rather play on my main account because the shopping account is where i buy everything downloadable and not use it to game play

If you download the game in your console you can play with whatever account is on it. The games that have discount you can still playing even after your psn expires, the ones that you get free looks like you can’t play when you’re out of psn plus. I can’t say for sure if they’re really going to stop working after your Plus expires because since I bought my PS3 Im a Plus subscriber.
yeah but i being looking on the web and it saids different other whise i just hope isnt like free realms that i bought a subscription on my shopping account and it doesnt work on my main account <_<
well, the games I buy i can even install then on my brother console and play with his account. I don’t know free realms, but if it is like DC Universe Subscription that you pay to play online it will only work on the account that bought the subscription not in other accounts on the console. Hope you can play with your min account :) I know how important it’s to get the trophies in the right account :D
Been wanting to check out Dungeon Defenders and played the demo for Rochard. It was pretty fun. $15 each was a little much for me at the time, but I can handle $5 each.
My only problem is…where are they? This article says it comes out today, but I am currently in the PS store (at 4:30pm) and it has not updated yet. They say it updates on Tuesday, but no one can give me an approximate time, and there have been times where it hasn’t updated until Wednesday.
I can’t even get into the forums to ask there (entirely different problem there), so I can’t get any answers.
Can anyone give me a straight answer about when the store updates each week? Please? Or, at least, when the stuff will be available this week?

I saw somewhere around the psn blog that the updates occur around 7pm PST (-8). You’re lucky because here where I live it’s already 7:45pm :(
Have they release a patch for Dungeon Defenders YET! That fix the trophies issues.
1) Trophies for DD doesn’t appear on trophy list
2) Every time you look at your profile, the trophy sync activate and it take forever to finish. Every time !!!
I want this game but after hearing and seeing this happen with friends, I don’t want to support company that don’t fix these issue. I guess this been an issue since the release of DD and still no one is taking action for this. Is this how you repay your royal customers.
Please response. These are the issue that are keeping me from buying this game.

I think they’re updating the store at this moment, some games disappeared from the newest games list, and the games on the list are with their prices correct now. Gonna wait until they complete updating the store so I don’t get confused while buying the games.

I’m waiting for the Shadow of Colossus to appear on the game list as well cause they don’t say how much is gonna cost, but it’s a hell of a game now in HD :D
it seems to be up. I’m downloading Rochard now, which works perfectly, cuz I just put in 2 free $3 cards I got from Gamestop, so I get it free!
Now, we’ll see if it updates around 6pm next week, too.
Also, I will have to check out some of the other games in this sale later. Shadow of Colossus isn’t really my thing, but Rocketbirds and Sideway look interesting. Payday might be worth a look, but only if I can get a demo first.

Anyone knows if the spend 50 get 10 is dead? I heard it was supposed to be monthly thing but maybe it’s not.
Looks like games that never sold very well, or not as much as they had hoped for. Looks like a sale to miss for me for sure. Money saved is money in the pocket to spend on other things. Maybe Apple will get my money this month.

Downloading Payday demo, but will probably pass, cuz I downloaded it before and don’t remember playing it. Never a good sign. If nothing else, I still have Rochard, and the demo of that was pretty fun, so it’s not a total loss for me either way.
I already have eight of these games, probably will pick up one or two more!

I think this is a load of crap. When do us regular members get 50% off? This is how you treat us? And while I’m at it I think charging more than $10 for any of these games, which don’t include discs, cases, or manuals, is fair either. I wait for sales like this, but now even those don’t bring everything below $10. What is up with that…
