@deadagent75 this company isn't going to admit what its about since their history shows they apathetically do nothing until something fails horribly then they scurry around in a panic doing damage control and another cover up. The only responses any of us will see is this psychotic troll responses calling us a slew of childish names, over the top insults and irrelevant excuses. This company needs to wake up to the fact that they need us as customers, or in a more straight up way they need our money to stay in business. But as has been pointed out this is entertainment and we don't need them to survive. The corporate attitude here needs to do a 180 and fast.

Ok, PSN cards seem to be working again now.

@dudeinmaine (#102): Sure, there isn't a requirement, but it is considered common courtesy for a service provider to provide at least some detail as to what their planned maintenance outages (especially extended ones such as this) are for. It basically makes most customers (there's always some guys you can never please) less agitated when they can see what improvements are being made. It also speaks to the level of professionalism of the service provider.

Heh, and if doing so 'would open them up to an attack' (a dubious claim), then there's a deeper problem there.

I don't really care what the update is because I am sure it will only make our experiences better and keep our gaming up to date with limited errors. My problem is the fact that they did not get it running by the time they said it would be. In the very least, add an hour or two to the time frame so we will know when we will surely be able to get back on it. I have been very unsatisfied with the decline of the PS2 and so, my wife bought me the PS3. I have not had it long and have had problems playing Madden on-line. So, this just adds to the frustration. I am being patient, but why am I not getting a mass e-mail update from time to time? I still prefer Sony over Microsoft, but let's speed things up. Someone mentioned this was a BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY. If it is, use your resources more wisely and pay the proper salaries to have the best of the best on staff!!!

You people are worse than a bunch of children. Sony has no requirement to disclose the nature of updates. In fact doing so could, and probably would, open them up to another attack.

My god...are you going to die without PSN for a day? Whenever PSN is down I come here for some laughs!

Read a damn book for a day!
