Lots of news to keep track of this week, from the launch of Taco Bell’s exclusive PS Vita giveaway to first details on SSX’s PS3-only Mt. Fuji mountain, to the release of MLB 12 The Show’s first trailer. Ubisoft stopped by to give us a quick look at its PS Vita launch lineup: Michael Jackson The Experience, Asphalt: Injection, Rayman Origins, Lumines: Electronic Symphony, and Dungeon Hunter Alliance. The crew of The Tester Season 3 even released a video tour of the winner’s future workplace at Sony Santa Monica Studios.

What are you playing this weekend? Don’t forget: PS Vitas are ready and waiting for you now in eight major US cities as part of our Vita Hill social clubs. There’s no catch, no RSVP, and it’s open to everybody — just go! Most locations run from 2pm to 8pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and 2pm to 6pm on Sundays.

I’m still playing & reading Skyrim, even though I platinumed last Sunday. I can’t give up this addiction.

I’m watching American Idol, because I can’t get enough of watching peoples’ dreams crushed.

I’m listening to your blogcast, of course.

I almost changed my Vita preorder to the new bundle, but I’m sticking with the Wi-Fi

      • Oh, you’ve got the Skyrim sickness baaaad if you can’t stop after Platinuming! ;-) Glad to hear you’re listening to the Blogcast and reveling in the failure of others.

    • Eh Sid, mind taking a peak into the wilderness of PlayStation Canada’s PR department?

Seems as though they got kiosks set up on a mall tour with the Eaton Center in Toronto this weekend.

It seems like something that should be researched.
Guy I asked at the booth about the lack of PS Blog advertising said it was set it up nicely or advertise it.

      Why not both? Seems daft.

    • The “PS Vita: the inside story” article from guardian is a great read. I always enjoy getting behind the scene info that shows us how life is on the other end of a finished product like the Vita.

    • Hi, Sid.

I’m watching: The Event (Netflix), The whole 1st season, wish this show continue into more seasons.

I’m so happy to have a working TV again, missed playing my PS3, just wish it was my big TV that got fixed. But I am playing on Sony’s PlayStation TV now, a bit small for my taste, but a great picture an refresh rate. I have not tried the 3D yet since my receiver does not have a 3D pass-through. But once I come up with a optical cable I will try it out, gotta have my big surround and lots of bass. The bass speaker in the back of the PlayStation TV does not have much bass. Over all so far I love the TV. Of coarse I got smokin’ deal thanks in part to my best friend covering part as B-day gift. Best Buy had it $299.99. I used all my gift cards I had been saving and my Reward points, so ended paying nothing. Can’t beat that.
Thank you very much to my best friend !!!

    • @Sid I tried Little Deviants and Modnation Racers and I was just amazed with the overall feel of the system and that beautiful OLED screen. Little Deviants was surprisingly good (I was expecting a watered down collection of mini-games). I was getting addicted to some of the mini-games (the one where you have to push the robots and avoid human/deviants was a lot of fun). Playing Modnation racers felt and looks like the PS3 version which kinda felt odd that it is in the palm of your hands, but I only tried it for a short while.

    • @Sid, it’s pretty good, i Love Everything Uncharted. =D
