Its nice to see your doing digital copies, but you really need to reconsider the pricing. $5 less is not a real incentive to buy a digital copy that can never be resold when you are done playing.

whoa.. thank god i watched this video. i already got a psn-card earlier today to buy unit 13 tomorrow, but hell no.. after watching the video i decided NOT to buy this game. i so wanted to, because finally we would have gotten a game that was not a rehash of old titles.. but this shooter looks very, very, very unnecessary and boring. every game mechanics i saw in the video i already had seen in the countless 0815-shooters out there. i hope there will be other games out soon that are interesting enough to buy them. but with such 0815-shooters and mostly rehashes of ps3-games i doubt i will be buying much more for the vita in the near future. seems like the vita is doomed for the same fate as the 3ds.. there is just not enough interesting material out there to justify my day-1-buy.

Contra Shattered Soldier, Tail Concerto, Brave Fencer Musashi, Klonoa 2, Vandal Hearts ….. etc
Pretty please.
PS: tried a couple of PS2 Classics, namely Primal and God Hand. The video signal seemed off on my HDTV, and none of the screen options seemed to fit properly. Pretty weird, because I don’t have the same problem with the emulation backward compatibility on my system, nor do I have it with PS1 Classics.

Also, with Final Fantasy X HD coming, why not instead make that one the International version and then do the same for Final Fantasy X-2 and Final Fantasy XI??
I hope that Gods Eater 2 comes out in the US since the game is being made/release in Japan.
Oh and for those that play Lego games, how about another Lego Star Wars Clone Wars game that covers season 3 and beyond since the current one only does Season 1 & 2. Oh and where’s the Lego Lord of the Rings game that covers the trilogy and The Hobbit? Can you guys patch Lego Star Wars The Complete Saga with trophies or just release a new version of the game?
And why are the Call of Duty Modern Warfare map packs still $15?! Why not lower the price on the ones for Modern Warfare 1 and 2 at least?!
Is God of War IV being made? I hope so…
Are we getting another Dynasty Warriors Gundam game?? If we do, please make sure it has the Japanese voice acting option included for the US version.

@32 Us PC enthusiasts have no choice but to buy it on console or use the Origin service. Origin will be built in, I heard, and you will not be able to run it on PC without Origin… At least I have Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 on Steam. They removed them from Steam eventually, but if you got them before they were removed, you still have access to them.
I guess if I play ME3 it will be on PS3. Sad for me, though, since my PC is tuned up for gaming. Stuff looks way better than on PS3 or 360 on my PC. And, you know, I can use Mouse and Keyboard. :(

+ Garylisk on March 5th, 2012 at 9:47 am said:
@16 That is the truth, right there. I am purposely buying cartridges to 2-way protest expensive memory cards and no real digital discount. They could have at least decided on a base amount to discount all titles by instead of the apparently arbitrary slap in the face pricing to digital download fans.
Here’s how it SHOULD work, Sony. I have a 8GB memory card, o the back it says “Holds 2-4 full games” so let’s go with that figure.
The memory card is $30. Now let’s say I buy some digital games, we’ll say 4 of them. I will pick 4 games here right off the store.
Dynasty Warriors: 34.99, $5 off
WipEout 2048: 35.99, $4 off
Hot Shots Golf: 35.99, $4 off
Touch My katamari: 24.99, $5 off
Total savings: $18
Memcard – savings = $12
Standard 8GB SD Card: About $5-$10.
Amount memcard is overpriced: About $2-$7
So 1 or 2 more dollars discount per game should be done, IMO, to make it a no-brainer switch for fans. KILL the used market.
40
+ Garylisk on March 5th, 2012 at 9:51 am said:
After my above math session, the mem cards actually seem almost reasonably priced. Imagine it! However, I really think the digital discount should be a bit more. I would love to see the used market crash and burn. It used to be great back in the NES and early SNES Era with small local shops, but companies like Gamestop came around and ruined it. It needs to die.
HOWEVER
Size of data on memcard with cartridge version:
HS Golf: 134M
WipEout: 64M
Katamri: 0M
Dynasty Warriors: 0M
Save data for all four: negligible.
if I keep going like this, imagine how little I will spend on mem cards. Like, ever. Of course, that could be anyone with a PC/PS3 and use of content manager. Only someone who wants to carry everything digital around with them needs to buy a lot of memory cards. I’d rather carry around a plastic case of carts, which I do currently. I have 5 carts. I did buy Stardust digital, though.
The point I was going for: Buying cartridges is actually cheaper in the long run if you were going to buy mem cards every time one filled up.
The point I actually made: This is not as bad a deal as I thought initially, but it still seems to need some tweaking, and a lot more structure.
