I also have a second piece of news I would like to share really quick. Our Community team has five copies of Tales of Graces f that they will be giving away to some lucky fans. Now these aren’t your regular old run-of-the-mill copies of the game. These are signed by Tales of Graces f producer, Hideo Baba! Keep watching our Facebook page for more information on how to win a copy.

  • I can’t wait to pick this game up after school. I’ve been looking forward to the next Tales game since Dawn of the New World came out, and now that it’s here, I’m very excited. ^^ I do hope it (and Abyss 3D) performs well so that we’ll get Tales of Xillia!

  • @Elvick_

Here’s the catch: Sony doesn’t allow JP (only!) voiced games to be released at retail, just by download.
That’s why I mentioned Battle Fantasia.
Pity that my previous comment was deleted because of a simple mention of the Netherworld. (or maybe because of a name of a competitor’s product?)
My complaint was because there is a highly anticipated game that is coming to the US after almost 2 years since its JP release and the reason for the company’s decision to do so was because of the mass piracy and imports of the EU edition that came earlier. People weren’t interested in the game because of its voice acting, but only because it was in english. Not everyone knows how to read japanese.
I think Vesperia’s situation is similar and the arguing would be minimal if it was released with japanese dubs. But because of the rules up there, retail is out of the realms of possibility.
Ironically, the hacking scene is coming up with an english patch for this game (text only, of course). Maybe its already even been done and Bamco holds back the opportunity to do something even better.

  • Man, these comment filters tick me off…
Let’s see what kind of words they could get: Netherworld, competitor, arguing (maybe its simple mention induces the reaction?), hacking, patch.
Oh, please. It’s one thing to be polite, other is to constantly censor myself and search for the most lighthearted synonyms for everything that I want to say. Not to mention my comments are kinda constructive, since I’m giving incentive to you guys. Not to mention the “no swearing, fighting or FIRST!”, unless the above words are considered as such.
    Ah, whatever.

  • I want TALES OF XILLIA localized NAMCO. As for everyone else who didn’t import the actual Tales of Destiny 2, and Tales of Destiny Director’s Cut. I feel that these games should be downloadable as PS2 imports on the SEN.

  • I also want Innocence R localized here for PS VITA. I wantttttt.
Well Namco you already had me sold I got my copy of this game 3 hours and 17 minutes ago @ GAMESTOP.

  • I’ve never played a Tales game before but I picked this up just to support it. I am missing that good ol JRPG goodness of the PS2..

  • Awesome! I loved Vesperia on the 360. Yes, I used to be a Xbox player, I admit it. Now I prefer PS3 and I want this game. Hope to find it eventually here in my country (Mexico).

  • @47: Absolutely, and that’s coming from someone who has a 360!

  • getting it next week
