Other big beats dropping this week are World Gone Sour and sweet new GTA content. If you need a sugar fix, you’ll want to check out World Gone Sour. Assume the role of a lost piece of candy destined to find its way to the ultimate goal: your stomach! On the other hand, if you missed out on the critically acclaimed Add-ons to Grand Theft Auto IV, you can now download them as the PS3 Full Game section sees the release of Grand Theft Auto IV Episodes From Liberty City. PlayStation Plus subscribers can pick up this content for the great price of $11.99 for this week only.

Great new Add-Ons are also hitting the Store today. Uncharted 3 wraps up the Fortune Hunters Club content with the Drake’s Deception Multiplayer Map Pack. • Helllo Sony I would like expres what has me concerened and my other five close friends, and almost all of my playstation network friends own a Vita we are a little angry with you by the way you are working with the Vita, is too slow we still cant download from our Vitas playstation one games(any) and psp, only some, another thing that hanst been released yet are the aplications Skype, whats happening that skype isnt avaible to be downloaded yet, I hope that for this week is avaible and I would like to know why the other new aplications havent been anounced. Please speak with the Mozilla Firefox company so they develop a better browser for the Vita, or if not a Google Chrome, what we couldnt believe and astonished us was that the Vita doesnt have adobe flash player, and in internet you cant do almost anything without adobe flash player, we cant see videos from websites please in the next update add full support Adobe Flash Player 11.1.102.63, and JavaScrippt belive me you will make me feel glad and all my friends.
remember the best promotion is a satisfied customer and a console (PS VITA) off is bad promotion

  • Hey La_maravich, did you know the Vita just came out like a month and a half ago? You’re going to be making these posts for a long time if you think they are about to drop what every team is doing and rush out COD, AC and Skyrim type games on an unproven system.

Quit wasting your time, you look as silly as the Megamixer guy or whatever his name was.

  • Hey, I was wondering if you guys by any chance considered putting the mgs hd collection on the playstation store. Any reply is apreciated, thanks.

  • @legendary – fire up your Vita and go to the Escape Plan live area. The download is there, it’s just not on the store.

  • @44

    *It’s a dedicated GAMING handheld.
*Skype is coming, go ask Youtube for an app.
    *Go ask Google.
    *Cross-platfform chat not possible.
*No reason to, not Sony’s fault you made your download list so long.
*More than likely not possible to show on the PS3 who’s online with their Vita. Mine already signs me out whenever I get on both at the same time.
*No reason for cloud saving, that’s what the memory stick and backing up data are for.
*No reason to improve the Facebook app, that’s Facebook’s job anyway. Don’t like it? Use regular Facebook or the mobile version.
*No reason to, avatars are not that important, especially when there is so many and the user never looks at it.
*You gotta tell that to the Third Party Developers/Publishers.

  • Mega_Man_X returns with another all out assault on the english language.

  • there was no qoure in march is quore not avable any more after this one whats going to happen to pepplpoe that paid anuly

  • Will there be anymore DLC for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City and Final Fantasy XIII-2? If so, when and will it be free?

  • Nice early update if only it could be earlier. 3 pm Eastern is a good time to update but if it would update by 10 am Eastern it would be ideal.

I just got the new uncharted maps and the new plus theme so far things are looking good.

  • I’m pretty sure that buying The Pinball Arcade on the Vita also gives a free copy for the PS3, but since it doesn’t explicitly say that in the Blog Update, I’m a little nervous to buy it on the Vita. I might just wait until I get home and buy the PS3 version instead.

  • @44

    *Why?
    *Lol
*The Vita ports are up to the Developers. Last of Us is more than likely not possible to be on the Vita as neither would the other games, too big a file size.
*Those games are already announced and coming to the Vita later in the year. You don’t research, do you?
*Tell that to the DEVELOPERS. An RPG like Skyrim would probably never be seen on a Handheld.
*Lol. The Vita is only 4 months into its original lifecycle but only 2 months for North America and you already expect a price drop? And the PS3 has had several price drops and is now the 2nd least expensive home console.
*An MMO would be laggy no matter where you go.

  • Hey MW3 Elite Users Black Box DLC for MW3 will be available this Thursday at 4 am central time.

  • Why do I keep seeing the wrong Skullgirls logo being used?

  • All I want is Adams Family Pinball ~ PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

  • La_maravich_22 needs to be banned so badly. What an annoying spammer

  • What’s up with montezuma blitz? You can only play for ONE minute. There are no game modes to access that I can figure out. No wonder its free, who would pay for this crap? Deleting now.

  • There needs to be more games coming to the Vita. Sales are drying up.

    I suggest more RPG’s.

and PS1/PS2 Classics need to be supported as well.

  • Been patiently waiting for about 2.5 months for anything remotely interesting to purchase. Glad to see this week is a good fit for my play style – will be picking up Pinball Arcade this PM and I can’t wait to see regular DLC released for this (FarSIght, please take ALL of my money). Curious about skullgirls, as well as sour patch (though I’m a bit embarrassed to admit it!). Will probably also pick up the Journey soundtrack even though the game itself is on a wait-for-a-price-drop list for me. Oh, and Pulse to boot. Quite excited this week!

  • WOW SO I just checked the store and yes, there is a fricken’ skullgirls demo. Just like they said there would be.

  • Bushido Blade where art thou?

  • Blue-eyed slickt, you’re just a transparent troll, with the same tiresome comments. The ipod touch is just a poor man’s iphone. You never bought a vita, who you kidding. Tell us the thought process here, goes out, buys a vita, goes on the internet, omg, there’s no youtube app for this thing, rushes back to the store to return the unit. ROFLMAO!!!

Yeah, you’re real credible, pal. NOT!!! Talks about suing sony if his comments don’t get posted. LOL!! What a joke.

    • Friendly reminder here, everyone is entitled to their opinion, positive or critical. However, I’m seeing some posts here and below that take things past the point of debate. If you have counterpoints to someone’s point, then please do so without the name-calling. Otherwise, we gotta check those accounts at the door.

  • Wow! This is the fastest update ever! I live on the east coast so this is very much appreciated! Now…as a Vita owner…when are we going to get PS1 and more PSP compatibility for this portable system?

  • I need to say I‘m amazed by how early this update is.

EPIC Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer DLC & Journey OST even cheaper than iTunes!!!

  • Nothing for me this week, but thanks none the less :)

  • Yup, this weekly store update blog is the most amusing regular source of self-entitled whiners.

I agree that products/games/information could & should be better, but coming on the blog every day, several times a day, to show the rest of us your lack of patience & grammatical ability is ultimately pointless, except as amusement.

But do continue. I read the most asinine posts to my friends at work for laughs.

  • This is SO SAD, where the **** are the Vita games?!! **** I bought one and there is hardly any games worth getting right now besides Uncharted and Escape Plan. WTF SONY?!! Why release something with NO games? Should’ve delayed the launch until E3 or this holiday when there is something to actually play. >_>

  • Blue-eyed slickt, not only are you a troll, you’re a lying troll who keeps changing his story. You claimed previously that you refused to buy sony’s lowest capacity memory card for $25, uh, its $20, genius, because it was overpriced, now you’re claiming you bought an 8gig card for $35 when its actually $30. LOL!!!

If you wanted to try out a vita you could’ve tried it out on how many kiosks are out there. You’re a liar, plain and simple. What did you try out, anyway, you can’t return games. So you bought a vita without any games, but bought a memory card, yeah, you’re just making more and more sense.

That ipod touch, tell us all about those great free games on it. C’mon, why so shy? What model did you buy? You didn’t buy anything above 8gigs, did you? Because that would make you kind of a hypocrite, now, wouldn’t it, considering apple charges more for memory than sony and its non expandable to boot.

Oh, another question, how pathetic is an individual who comes on a board to make other people feel bad about their purchases to pump himself up about his own. Just asking, dude.

  • Morgan,

Is there a way for Vita owners to be notified about PlayStation Store updates through the Livearea, before starting the app? I notice that once in a while, a notification appears about the Video app being refreshed. Could the PlayStation Store get refreshed without the user doing anything, and possibly show a red asterisk on the icon until it is tapped to show the Livearea? There, people could see some of the new content and then the asterisk would disappear.

Great update, and early at that!

  • It’s interesting that “60 frames per second” is only described in two ways: rock solid, or buttery smooth. Can it be both? Discuss.

  • Thank you for the FREE FFXIII-2 Sarah outfit dlc! Looking forward to purchasing the rest as well. =)

  • blue-eyed slickt, you’re truly pathetic. Walmart overcharges on the memory cards but not on the vita itself. Hey, tell me about all this sony gear you’re bought that I could only dream of. Must be pretty hard to get your hands on sony stuff if all you got is some walmart lite store to shop from. You’re a joke. LMAO!!!!

  • Sniper Elite V2 Demo good but we want more PS1 and PS2 classics.

Some of the PS1 classics we want:
    Medi Evil 2
    Gex: Enter the Gecko
    Star Wars: Demolition
Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi
    MediEvil II
    Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories

Some of the PS2 classics we want:
    Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
    Fatal Frame 1 – 3
Star Wars: Battlefront 1 and 2
    Star Wars: Bounty Hunter
    Star Wars: Racer Revenge
Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: The Beginning of Destiny
    Clock Tower 3
    Silent Hill Origins

Those are only some of the many we want!

  • have not read through all the comments— but under rock band add ons has bully listed by slayer– this song is by shinedown not slayer

  • Hi Morgan,
Thanks for the update. The PS3 is my most used console out of all the consoles I own because it has the most great games on it. Keep up the excellent work!

  • thanks so much for your efforts guys ,
i wanna ASK about Collection silent hill 2 – 3 will be in store ?
and resident evil operation raccoon city ” spec ops ” avatars for account .

  • Any Castlevania Harmony of Despair Players out there…add me: PhillyTheCat

  • blue-eyed slickt, by all means post all your sony gear, you’re a liar and a wanna be and nothing is going to change that sad fact. People who have money don’t shop at walmart, so spare me your empty rhetoric about all this imaginary sony electronics you’ve accumulated.

You buy a vita and an 8gig memory card but don’t download any free demos. Absolutely no mention of games you tried out on the system and you think people are going to believe your lying troll ass.

I’m ending this, I don’t want to waste people’s time or space on this blog anymore dealing with a delusional head case who lives in a fantasy world of his own creation.

  • Skullgirls is as good as advertised. Highly recommend that game if you a fighting game fan. Comes with a tutorial detailed in explanation that imo should be standard in fighting games.

  • guys stop fighting and play skullgirls, the females breast move so sexy and there nice and big :). im def buying this game now and good demo.

  • nice update :)

  • @PainOfSarrow-really? Im sold! lol

  • Thanks for Skullgirls. For what it’s worth, I wouldn’t mind seeing it on my Vita. Also, Any Idea when or if Patapon 3 might end up on the PSP/Vita roster? I don’t know why it wasn’t chosen over Patapon 2 but it’s one I wouldn’t hesitate buying again for the new platform. Other regions have gotten it so hopefully it’s just a matter of time. Keep it up!

  • PhillyTheCat , yea bro. its a Beautiful thing lol.

  • Lovin the freeebies for being a Ps Plus member!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How many tracks in the Journey OST?

  • blue-eyed whatever,
you’re done here. Go brag about your imaginary toys to the local wino in poison.

On to other matters, Skullgirsl looks and sounds great, but I suck so bad at fighting games, I have no idea how solid the fighting mechanics are in this game

  • Journey Soundtrack is OUT!!!

  • Yay some Warriors Orochi 3 DLC love. Any date set for us to get the new stages? Any planned WO3 freebies for PS+ subscribers as well? In any case, thanks for the early store update that’s pretty nice :D

  • Tried out the Skullgirls demo for a while and visually I’m impressed. I have a huge problem with it though. Before I explain let me just leave a disclaimer that I am in no way a hardcore fighter though I do enjoy the games. That said, even on the game’s easiest difficulty it’s harder than most fighting game hard modes. Seriously it’s ridiculous to jumped into this game and repeatedly comboed down from full to nothing. The AI is out of control.

I planned to get the game and make an effort to get good or at least decent at it, but when your entry level difficulty is as bad as this don’t expect anyone but the truly hardcore to bother getting this game. It seriously does not allow anyone else to enjoy it.

  • La_mara.’s list isn’t half bad. Can anyone comment on the patch for Escape Plan, if any swipe fixes are noticable?
