  • please please please, we need DMC 1, 2, 3 avatars in the EU store, that is all i want. please that’s all i ask

  • cannot download ridge racer new two music pack DLC, the vita said cannot download by using ps vita system !!

  • Does WipEout HD even work yet? Or is it still corrupting file saves?

It was *hilarious* when Sony gave away copies of that in appreciation of consumer patience after that massive failure of a network outage last year.

  • if Morgan doesn’t reply, maybe someone else knows. Are current and older PS3’s able to play the PS2 catalog games like Persona 3 that came out today?? I’m assuming it’s through software emulation, i just don’t remember hearing about this. I still have a 60g model that I bought PES3 for 2 weeks ago for $45! Wish I would’ve known it was coming out on the store!!

  • @bunnyhunter yeah all ps3’s can play the ps2 classics off of psn just fine.

  • Thanks for the update!

By any chance would Diablo be possible anytime as a PSX classic? Im sure tons of people would buy with the release of Diablo 3 coming soon. It’s also very hard to find a hard copy that doesn’t cost over $40. Thanks again.

  • The newest DLC for Ridge Racer Vita (Music Pack 18 and 19) is broken. Whenever I try to download it it says “Cannot download using the PS Vita System”.

  • Well Sony has failed me again. Nothing for the PSP which has apparently been abandoned like a redheaded stepchild and theres really nothing out for the vita due to the fact that a lot of the games are short. Also I can’t DL Persona 3 FES on the psp or vita so I guess Sony currently only cares about the PS3 users. Ah well, I’ll live. I’ll wait until Disgaea 3 comes out on the vita.

  • Im tryin to acess the store and it gives me a error code whats the deal?

  • Montezuma Blitz requires that you pay 99cents for 5 additional lives (or wait for them to slowly refill) and you have to buy in game currency for any bonuses. The Game is only 1 minute long per play. This is a phone app game, we would have been better served if you had just shoved in advertisements and made the game completely free.

  • will we be seeing other PS2 Shin Megami Tensei games on the Playstation Store, like Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne?

    • Stay tuned to the blog for more details on PS2 Classics as they come. Nothing more to share on releases at this time, but the collection will certainly be growing.

  • Argh, I wish my PS3 hadn’t died about two months ago… >< I missed like a month's worse of PS+ stuff (nothing I wanted, but still…) and it's a pain having to save up for a new one. :( This sucks, I was so waiting for Skull Girls too!

  • Nocturne would be an awesome addition to the PS2 classics. I know Atlus really want to get us some more classics so hopefully that will be one of them.

Wouldn’t mind P4 either, but I have my doubts about that since they’re putting out The Golden for Vita. I’d get it as a classic and get it again for Vita as well. Don’t feel like waiting for The Golden to play it again.

  • I am not a fan of any of the updates this year. i dont like any of the games that were released. I want to see games like harry potter be on there. even Spider-Man games. Just a opinion :)

  • @GrimlockFan64 If you haven’t capped out on devices on you account you can add your account to a friend’s PS3 and cart the PS+ freebies so that they are counted as downloaded. Then when you get a working PS3 again you will not have missed your freebies.

  • Any news on FFIV Complete for PS3 yet? It has been quite a while since it was promised…before PSN went down last year in fact. Still waiting….

    • I don’t ever remember hearing this one…got a link? As a FF nut, I would love this myself, but I don’t recall any promises of FFIV Complete arriving on PS3.

  • I want to dl skullgirls but it wont let me on the store I keep getin a error code

  • Any news about simulview games?

  • So Canabalt, a critically praised Mini and game ideal for handheld play doesn’t even work on PSVita. The dev said it is SCEA’s fault. This is the kind of incompetence that makes people laugh at Sony. No wonder the company is bleeding money to the tune of $6.4 billion when you can’t even get basic things right.

All Minis should be Vita compatible. That is a simple concept even a child could grasp. While you are at it do some Mini bundles, 4 games for a set price.

  • Hey Morgan Haro, dirt 3 was on the europe psn from late last year, is it coming to the psn anytime soon. see i live in the bahamas so i win on buying digital releases (even tho they could be cheaper…mortal kombat 9) any heads up on that game would be appreciated.

    • Thanks for the feedback on the PS3 Full Games, and we’re taking a real close look at the strategy with these BD titles on PSN. As far as Dirt 3 goes, I don’t have any news on this, but watch this space for Store Updates in which this content would be announced.

  • I only have one thing I would love sony to answer. why can’t I buy more avatars on my ps vita? I would love to pay for more avatars. if I could get them from my pc for my ps vita I would do love to do that if for some reason the ps vita can’t.

I do not see how hard it would be to add something so simple. I can buy app’s I can buy games and videos why not add avatars.

(was just a double post edit. can delete earlier post.)

  • Come on Sony, it was one thing when I couldn’t download 95% of my PSP content onto my Vita, but now I can’t even download Vita content using my Vita!?

The Ridge Racer music packs are broken, could you maybe fix that sometime soon!?

  • Do yall have any plans to put the xenosaga trilogy on psn? Because i would love that its one of my favorite games from the ps2 era.

  • Will sombody please tell me why I keep gettin an error code when login on the store

  • is good to see P3F in the ps3 catalog, but i want neo contra too, EUR PSN already had it, or that game wasnt too good for the rest of the americans?

  • @125, can you sync your trophies or play online? If you can’t, the just power cycle your modem (power off, wait 30 seconds, power on). If you are able to use your PS3 online, then I’m not too sure. Have you tried restarting your PS3?

  • @116 Where did you ever hear that? I didn’t recall hearing that and did a quick google search to double check and still nothing. I think you might be waiting on nothing.

  • Morgan Haro on April 10th, 2012 at 3:46 pm said:
Friendly reminder here, everyone is entitled to their opinion, positive or critical. However, I’m seeing some posts here and below that take things past the point of debate. If you have counterpoints to someone’s point, then please do so without the name-calling. Otherwise, we gotta check those accounts at the door.

    Duly noted.

  • @118, simulview (sp?) are regulated to 3D split-screen co-op games. It’s too bad that devs other than Sony haven’t supported this tech. Moreover, less & less devs are adding split-screen co-op to their games. I know Starhawk has S.S. co-op, it’s unclear if 3D or Simulview support are in the works.

  • @45

    >Halo 4 on PS3 And VITA

    Shut up Buda

  • @130 Actually, there are only 6 games with the simulview tech, so I want to know if they have some old or new games in mind to add this tech, because it´s like 5 months with this new playstation 3d display and only 6 games… I don´t know the others but I want more games with the simulview… I bought this tv because of that feature.

  • WHEN KOF 97´ FOR NEO-GEO STATION?? C´MON

  • @132, ah I see only 6 games. Importing this tech to older games is very unlikely given how devs just don’t see the cost/profit in improving already released titles (how 1st gen PS3 games released digitally did NOT incorporate trophy support). As for new games, keep you eyes locked on to this year’s E3. While adding S.S. co-op & 3D to a game increases the production budget & lessens the FPS, Simulview is IMO, a cool tech. I hope Sony makes some announcement @ E3 in May.

  • >The team works incredibly hard each week to get this published as early as possible so we’re happy to get this update to you guys a bit earlier than normal. Enjoy Persona 3!

You guys deal with a lot of negativity in these posts, so I’d just like to say that I really appreciate this.

  • 127 yeah everything else works I log onto the store and get an error code

  • So you blog team remove my comments that had points but you leave the fanboy comments up? WTF is that huh? Looks like I need to make a youtube video to give you at Sony a piece of my mind since you idiots can’t take the truth. How about every sony product I have I walk in the doors to that blog team building and throw the stuff in your face and give you in general a middle finger huh? You idiots remove all my comments and then say in a reply that everyone can have their opinion yet you leave the troll’s comments up. I have lost all respect for your two faced company!

    • Hey man, I know where you’re coming from, but we can’t have it boil down to name calling on the comments. I’m asking ya, gamer to gamer, please take it down a notch. It’s not about keeping only ‘fan service’ comments up. It’s about just being respectful to your fellow gamer; even if they don’t see things the way you do.

Respectfully, let’s drop it, and keep the comments on this space conversational, not attacking. Deal?

  • How about you also REMOVE the trolls comments to MORGAN. You say others can say their opinion but you delete all my comments and leave his? WTF Morgan HUH!

  • Just shows what kind of company you are. What if I get on the news about your scams and vent my opinion there huh. You guys gonna steal the tapes and burn them to shut me up huh? You guys are pathetic. I’m not buying anything else sony again. If this is how you treat people that pay to keep you fed and pay your bills then I will help reduce that money now. SCREW U SONY!

  • Wow I have been posting for awhile about a few problems I have had and never get a response… The store wont let on thats new but I have since january been asking why an update that added vita support took away my psp game storage capability of the ps3… Since your replyin to a troll cant ya give me an answer

    • I’m always on the lookout for questions I can respond to or help out with. I did see your question, but unfortunately not in a position to troubleshoot. Definitely reach out to Sony CS if the issue continues and sorry I can’t be of more help!

  • all that over comments ? ** face-palms** smh

  • So from what I’m reading you guys don’t love your handhelds.. can’t find P3F on PSN for the psp or the vita.. are there even gonna be ps2 games put on them anymore? I have a friend with a PS3 who lives across the country chewing me out cuz he’s able to DL on his ps3..

  • Help! Error 80710092 is assaulting me (almost) every time I try to log in to the PSN…

  • disapointing week for ps plus. make next week better please

  • Hey, I love all these updates, but I’ve noticed one thing, maybe an oversight, or maybe I’ve not read the reason why, but I love to download the American Chopper Season 3 Episodes, among other things, off the Playstation Store.. I saw the newest episode on the Amazon app, but not on the Playstation store, any idea why? Please fix!

  • I don’t know if I am the only one, but I bought Pinball Arcade (AWESOME by the way!!) and I got a couple trophies for it and my trophies won’t sync. Every time I go to my name on PSN it tries syncing trophies and goes to 100, but doesn’t show anything new and then I click my PSN name again and it keeps repeating…..

  • Hey, WilliamsFuchs420, I am also having an error message. 80023110. A quick Google search of that error code says that this problem happens to people intermittently when connecting to the store. Sony fixes it on their end, I believe. Everything else is working ok for me on my PS3, too.

  • So it’s been two months now since Jeff Rubenstein said, in bold in the “How to download PSP games to PS Vita” entry that “more PSP titles will be made available for PS Vita play in the coming weeks”. We’re past the “coming weeks” point now and into months, where is the update for PSP games for the Vita? We know a bunch work but either require being transferred via PS3 or are blocked/don’t show up and some that were transferable through the PS3 were also blocked.. Seems like now would be the time to have this sorted out considering the Vita is in the typical new hardware dry spell when it comes to new releases that people care about.

  • Where’d all these whiny little brats come from?

@ Hooligantuan: So why are you still here? All you ever do is: “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!”

Just leave if you don’t like it.

And I don’t have that problem with Wipeout, nor have I ever experienced a problem with any of the things you whine about. Maybe it’s just you! But unfortunately for all of us, the blog hasn’t figured out a way to corrupt your posts so that they don’t show up.

  • Morgan, I’m not sure if you can answer this, but what are the chances of Konami releasing Suikoden 2 as a PSOne classic here in America. Is there a reason they haven’t done so prior? It’s been in the blogshare and there is a fanbase who have been wanting them to bring it to the network over here.

    • The title has some bugs that at this time with the current firmware can’t quite run properly on the PS3 via emulation. But the team is working on it; however I have no indication as to when, if ever, this title might release on PS one Classics.
