  • Any chance Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 goes up on PSN as a Full PS3 game?

  • I like the crossplay with Vita feature of Pinball Arcade. Nice to have the game on both Vita and PS3 for one price. Are there other games coming out that will also include this ? I haven’t bought a Vita yet myself but features like this are a good enticement that gets me to think about picking one up.

    • I think you’ll be happy with some of the future releases. We’re definitely aware of this incentive for people who own both a PS3 and Vita. Watch this space for more news coming soon.

  • so Ill be amking my PS store purchases at the end of the month but Skull girls is a definite must buy. At least I liked it fan service+ great gameplay Amazing game. And cant wait for house of the dead 4!!!

  • No love for the PSP at all this week? Not even Legend of Dragoon or another PS1 classic? SMH. I am disappointed in this, Sony (not that you listen at all). Why not give the people what they want? We’ve been clamoring for Legend of Dragoon since it came out in December of 2010 in Japan. It’s published and developed BY YOU. There’s no excuse for this bull!

  • Ccanfield1, from what I know, foosball and Zen pinball 2 also feature buy one get both versions. Currently, hustle kings offer this as well. I’m sure, as time goes by, more and more psn games will do this.

  • Skullgirls!! Finally!

  • I am tired of seeing smaller titles with avatar releases and yet Twisted Metal still does not have any. You would have been better off releasing them closer to launch but, again, how about making some as a reward for the terrible online issues that plagued Twisted Metal’s first 2 months, the issues that some are still having?

  • I just wanted to say if your going to release more PS2 classics you should definitely think about releasing “The Warriors” that is one of my all time favorite games. Please Make it happen! I’m thinking of a Rockstar classics collection HD or something like that. Have Bully, The Warriors, GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas all in one sweet package I guess it’s just a pipe dream for now.

  • Again “The Warriors” PS2 classic!

  • Geez… I check before work, saw the store update, bought a bunch of stuff, set it all to download and shut off after it was done, and went to work.
I get home to find 3 full pages of the same complaints as always. The Vita is a GAMING SYSTEM, not a smartphone replacement. There are plenty of games out for it. I’ve got over 2 dozen, between physical and downloaded Vita games and compatible PSP games. If you think there’s nothing out for it, it’s because your tastes are too narrow, and YOU should have identified this problem before YOU spent money on it.
Whenever you have issues getting into the store, ON UPDATE DAY, it’s probably because everyone else is trying to get on, too. Guess what? It’s called overload. Wait, and try again later. It happens. Deal with it.
    So many whiners.

Morgan, you do an amazing job with the Blog, the update team is awesome, having gotten the last 3-4 weeks of updates out earlier every week, and ignore those East coast elitists. You guys have been updating the store while the sun was still up for almost the last two months. I’ve probably spent upwards of $250 on the PS Store in the last month, because of all the great content that’s been coming out. Keep up the great work. :)

    • Hey thanks! But the feedback from everyone is fair and valid. We want to make sure everyone across North America is happy with PSN and that includes our friends on the east coast =) So we work tirelessly to get the updates out as early as possible.

  • Pretty good update ! delicious ! I’ll sure pick the GTA episodes when I’m back home, with PS+, great bargain that makes it $6 a game, am I dreaming ??? and the HOTD4 demo will be a great way to keep this PS Move smoking hot until next week’s release. Playstation Store and Plus updates have been very, very good most of the time since the beginning of the year, and this ihas been very encouraging.

Also, is there any hope for Tetris both PS3 and mini/PSP discounts coming at some point soon, can you please tell me ? I know there were EA discounts last summer but I was abroad for a while so it passed me by :( …

Thanks in advance for your answer and I hope my English is not too bad since it is not my native language and I have just been learning it for a year or so, otherwise I apologize… Thanks again and have a great day !

  • Can anyone verify that Persona 3 FES does/doesn’t work on the Vita? Thanks in advance.

    • None of the games in the PS2 Classics category are able to work on PS Vita at this time. They have been designed to work via emulation on PS3 only. However, there’s a great version of Persona 3 downloadble on the PS Store originally made for PSP, but plays amazing on the Vita.

  • Absolutly LOVING P3:FES, PLEASE put Persona 4 up too!

  • Any word on when WipEout HD is going to get patched? It’s been broken since the release of patch 2.40 which was two months ago!

Sale or not, Sony is selling a defective product. Please fix it! (or at least roll it back to version 2.30)

  • I have play Persona 3 FES, and I was so addicted to that game, that I even cannot withstand it. It’s a perfect game for me.

I know there is a new Persona game coming out for the PS3, call “Persona 4 Arena”. Better put Persona 4 on the PSN before that game release.

  • OK… I have now received about 4 or 5 trophies for Pinball Arcade and they will not sync. I have received a trophy for Shank 2 just today and I synced trophies….the Shank 2 trophy showed up, but the Pinball Arcade trophies still don’t show. Please let me know how to fix this or what the problem is. Thank you.

  • Morgan,
Since the PS2 Classics version of Persona 3 FES works via emulation does that mean that the original disc version works as well?

  • Hey Morgan I got a few questions that’s worth replying to. check em out will ya.

    1. When will the Vita finally get pass these slow drought months and see releases every month?

    2. When will we see more AAA PS1 games, better yet PS1 games in general instead once a month? Not talking about any of those so called PS1 Classics no one ever heard of back in the PS1 days.

    3. From the looks of things Sony is treating the PS Vita like the PSP. It doesn’t get much coverage, other than weekly store updates you never hear anything about the PS Vita. I’m getting discourage since It look like the vita will be nothing than the machine that gets tons of ports, kind of like the PSP was to PS2

  • I’m not seeing Twisted Metal® Axel DLC listed. Is it out yet? According to the online PSN catalog it’s listed.

    Twisted Metal® Axel

  • Hey Morgan Haro, nice to see the feedback it’s getting better .(18 replies in one post..thats a record) Why wont u guys sell the ps2 emulation software for a price. i understand u guys are making money off the ps2 classics(even tho i would’nt call them classics). i still believe you guys can make way more money selling the ps2 emulator on psn, because me and others would spend on emulation before buying and having a ps2 again.

  • does anyone know if the new pinball arcade has online vs play like zen pinball?

  • weird i can’t edit my post? ah well i forget to ask one thing too. does this game also have custom soundtracks too?

  • Is the PS store down right now??? Ever since yesterday when I go to it it says an error occurred, and I don’t see any comments saying it’s not working so can someone let me know if it’s working for u please?

  • I cant seem to be able to add any funds and this happened yesterday all of a sudden

  • good one

  • good

  • Any chance we will be seeing Ape Escape on the PSOne Classics any time soon? Or any time at all?

  • @BLUExEYEDxSLICKT

Ipods have been out for how much longer than a Vita? Ipods are how much stronger than a VIta? Why do you tell me that Ipods are also dedicated gaming machines?

Go ahead and make a Youtube video that more than likely only a handfull of people will ever see. If you go to the Sony building and throw ALL of your Sony products at their faces and and flip them off, not only are you the weirdo wasting money but you are also going to spend a big chunk of time in jail. So whatever your logic is, it just failed.

He did remove the trolls comments. I don’t see anymore of your comments.

News? LOL!! What are you gonna say? “Sony didn’t like my blog post on THEIR blog so they deleted it”. I see no scams but I do see a whinny Apple/Microsoft fanboy. Claim to have spent alot on Sony products but gets upset at the slightest thing.

  • u should add some contents for Elder Scrolls V

  • it would be really cool

  • Guys, would you please, please release Skullgrils in Europe? It was supposed to be out worldwide the 11’th, and I am a little tired of waiting. Is it that hard to translate a game from English to English or what??

I can’t spend the entire next week refreshing the store just to find out when it is finally released.

  • Will we ever see the original Twisted Metal on PSN? Also when will TM Black be released as a PS2 download?

  • Morgan Haro:

    https://blog.playstation.com/2011/03/23/takashi-tokita-talks-final-fantasy-iv-the-complete-collection-rpgs/

In the comments section Sid Shuman states there is a PSN release confirmed. Since it is coming to retail for the PSP, why would a “PSN Release” not be for PS3?

I keep looking in the comments for confirmation but that was how I read it. Guess I was wrong, which blows. This really should be released as an updated version for the PS3. Don’t care if it has the “old” graphics, I just want the game.

  • @demonhunter84 i thought if you pre-order TM on ps3 you get a code for TMB?
