This reimagining of the action classic GoldenEye allows players to channel Daniel Craig’s lethal and gritty James Bond in an innovative, modern take on the legendary Bond adventure, GoldenEye. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded improves on the Wii hit with HD visuals and realistic environments running at 60-frames per second.

Jam Live Music Arcade — Jam Live Music Arcade offers a new approach to the music genre with a real-time live music sandbox that allows the player to immediately build and customize their very own tunes. Starting with any one of the 30+ licensed songs featured in the game (including hits from Modest Mouse, Fallout Boy, Fatboy Slim, Rise Against, Atmosphere and more), you get to jam with and remix all aspects of the song — guitar, bass, drums, synth and vocals — to experiment with the song and re-create it to their own personality.

Rock of Ages — Two castles stand opposed, bridged by an uneven, narrow pathway. One is yours, and you’re quite fond of it. See how the parapets catch the sunlight ever so stylishly? The other is your enemy’s; they’re a jerk, and their crappy crenellations are driving down your property values. Also, their castle sucks, justification enough to try crush it using an enormous rolling stone. Unfortunately, they’ll have a chance to plan and build up some security, doing everything they can to derail your razing rock.

Myst — A direct port of the PC hit, MYST is a classic puzzle and exploration game. Through Atrus’ notes, players find solutions to puzzles that open gateways to these worlds, which they then explore to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of Atrus and his two sons. The majority of the game is simply walking around the various locales, making connections between the cryptic information given and the puzzles presented. In this sense, MYST demands a great deal from the player careful attention must be paid to the slightest details. • …is it just me or was Myst ALREADY in the Store prior to this update? *checks Store* Ah, I see it was the PSP version. Dodged a bullet there. Other than that, nothing for me this week. Nothing wrong with this update; just nothing for me.

  • Nice to see Sony once again justifying the embarrassing Vita sales numbers by showing a glaring lack of support for the handheld.

    Here’s what we’re asking for:

PSOne titles and richer PSP compatibility? Nada.

“A continuous stream of AAA-titles and updates”, as promised by Sony? Depends. As far as updates go, hope you’re a fan of anti-piracy and UI tweaks. On the software front, if you don’t like the one game a month they’re delivering, then I suppose you’re SOL.

A bright future for the Vita? Don’t count on it.

Sony is notorious for their tendency to procrastinate and exert hot air via PR. Those defending them aren’t helping matters – you’re just part of the problem.

  • Alright cool, but now we need PS1 support for the Vita…I’m dying to play FF7 and FF8 on my Vita :D

  • Nonetheless, if I had a bunch of ps 1 classics on my ps3 hard drive, waiting to be played on my shiny new Vita at launch I would be pissed as well due to all of Sony’s pre-launch promises for the Vita. Nonetheless my personal feeling on this device is that the Vita is completely addictive and is an incredible piece of hardware. Even though I was initially upset about my ‘remote play’ confusion, I am now completely sold and hooked on the Vita. My main concern is “when are the new games coming out?” because I am totally hungry for new games. Thankfully I had not purchased any of the PS3 versions of Rayman, MvsC3 or Mortal Kombat or maybe I would be here whining about the lack of new games as well. The wait for post-launch games has been excrutiating, but this will change in a few weeks with Resistance and Gravity Rush. So regardless of the lack of several key features which were promised by Sony, the Vita is an absolutely incredible powerhouse of a handheld and I am looking forward to the new titles revealed at E3. Honestly, if anyone has not purchased a Vita, you are missing out on an amazing experience.

  • Some software updates. Via twitter, the Dr. who game, the eternity clock will be available globally for the ps3 on PSN next week on May 23rd. Bit odd, since that’s on a wednesday. Vita version to follow on June 13th. No explanation given for the delay. Once again, odd date, since that’s once again, a wednesday.

Silent Hill : Book of Memories looks like an october release now.

My response. You got sony beat on the hot air front.

  • For all the people who still keep insisting on these so called promises sony has broken, check out the ultimate faq guide published by this blog Feb. 16th, which is prior to the general release of the system. Your so called claims of broken promises don’t hold any water. Its that simple. I read the blog and considered canceling my pre-order as certain things were definitely in a limbo state with no expected date of when a certain feature would be enabled, if at all. I can’t be the only person here capable of reading.

With respect to psone games, the last info is from april 26th.

According to a Twitter post by Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida, the company is doing their very best to bring the functionality to the Vita as soon as possible, asking gamers to “Pls be patient.” It is clear that Sony is well aware of the fact that this is hands down one of the most highly requested features for the handheld, so believe Yoshida when he says “our engineers are working hard on it.”

  • @ massimodo. Don’t waste words with people like them. People like them think everything is done with a magic wand or something and their are no processes to them. Sony is a giant company not a lemonade stand and things have to go through processes and levels before they can be done. They are like the people who constantly gripe about making certain PS1 and Ps2 games HD or putting them on PSN as if that is all they have to do. Just wave a magic wand and it will happen the moment they ask for it. A business has multiple things happening at once and they can’t just drop everything in the world for every whiny request they have to listen to. 360 owners endured three YEARS of RROD and missing features from the Xbox 360 but we can’t endure a few months without them especially with them saying they are working on it?

  • @ massimodo also good work showing the people the difference between whining and complaining. I would like to add also whining is getting what you want and then finding something else wrong with what they gave you or instead of saying thanks you just move on to the next problem you can find. The nature of spoiled children. Complain and wait for results. Not come back everyday saying the exact same thing especially if the person said they are working on it. Saying it ten more times won’t make it happen any faster or did your parents not teach you that?

  • I”m going to get Red Faction 2. Can’t wait to play some old fashion FPS

  • @ 80 correction been push back to Release Date: 06/19/2012 for Test Drive: Ferrari Playstation3 Game ATARI from newegg web site

  • @50: Amen. PS Vita has a ton of games and got tons out of the gate that were worth getting for me. Doesn’t appeal to you =/= no games. And we knew full well LONG before release what games would be coming and roughly when for most. So if people bought one at launch only wanting one game in the launch lineup that’s their own problem.

  • I think its sad as a Gamer to see others harass one another. One i would think most people where are not whining. If you even own a Vita, or more less a Psp (mainly a Go) you’d known the frustration people have. We arent asking for every week to be some full blown update for the Vita, no one asked that as we know its not possible. All we are asking for is something. there is no reason for us to get nothing in this update when there are still a ton of content they could give us. Since the Vita is new and with new devices their main products (Vita games) should be known to take awhile. Since thats the case common sense would be to support the Psp as there are people who owned one and would like their collection on one system, They could also take into account people who never own a psp. thats sales from new users. Since they arent even doing that, the next best thing is to bring is ps1 support (since they said “soon” after launch which has already past in many people eyes) or give us Apps.

All in all There is no excuse why each week we get nothing in these update, and thats all we want is something. not every update has to be “awesome” or for Vita only, but they could be trying to bring out games.

  • NARC = PLAYSTATION 2 CLASSIC!!!!!!!!!!!! WILL THIS TITLE EVER BE IN THE PLAYSTATION STORE???!!!!!

  • I have to say, I’m just about to sell my vita. I think sony just didn’t get it. Beside, with all the money trouble, sony stores closing, vita not selling. Every developer are going on IOS. Like ,why in hell is max payne only on android and IOS? Is it just me or this game would be perfect on the vita, why infinity blade is not the vita yet, or ps2 games for that matter. No ps1 games, no internal memory. I just feel that if I don’t sell it now, i might just be stuck with it after all support is dead. Unless sony show me otherwise at e3, I might just sell everything that has playstation on it….

  • @ iTofuMan. People are not harassing anyone. Sony brought out a lot of games for the VITA at launch and like Elvick_ said the fact that you didn’t like them all isn’t anyone’s problem but you own. We all know improvements and games are coming to the VITA sooner or later and we sick and tired of people especially the same people constantly going on about what they want. We all heard what you want and saying it a hundred times won’t get you it. We went through the same crap with the PS3 with people constantly and annoyingly going on about ‘the PS3 has no games’ and now we have more then enough games to play on the PS3.

Why? Because we had the patience and sense to know that good games would come to us if we waited. 3DS owners waited until the best games came out later and the 3DS line up was the worst ever. By going on about it you are not fixing anything you are just proving what a child you are constantly whining over and over again. We all knew what the launch games were and that we would have to wait for more games. Why can’t you have patience? All the people on the other systems have patience and they give them the run around constantly.d it succeeds despite all the naysayers?

  • Part 1

Who says people dont like Vita games? do you only buy a game system for only one or a few games? No (or i would hope not) people just want more is that so bad? While we know improvements are coming the fact Sony has always been silence about it says another thing. i mean they stated how long ago that PS1 support was coming soon. how long is soon in their eyes? obviously for them it a bunch of months after launch.

In all honesty while the ps3 had the same type of launch (or no games) wouldnt it have been smart to improve from that? why constantly have these “bad” launches when they could have learned from their last launch to improve?

Whose to say people arent patience? just because we are asking for answers doesnt mean we want them now. Has there been any news for anything Vita? not so much, ya there are bits and pieces on this blog, but the fact that it seems Ps3 their first priority just proves to me that they arent taking the Vita seriously.

  • As for the 3ds you obviously either dont own one, or been to other forum based boards. i remember constantly people arguing about when games were coming. This is nothing new to just the Vita, all games go through this, but at least with other system we got information from the company about games, or at least gotten past games to be released in the mean time. With sony they cant even take the time to release Psp titles which they even stated they would be doing.

All in all i still some of you type of people as bashers. i have even seen some people claim that the people saying anything bad about the Vita (either full out bashing or criticism) should be banned, you telling me thats not harassing? ya maybe it wasnt in this blog post but its out there.

Still i feel as a consumer we should be getting information about upcoming games being released on the Psn whether it be vita, psp, ps1, etc. its the least they could do for us since they seem to think we dont want psp titles, or you’d think they release some.

  • Sigh, look, I’m all for getting a lot of this stuff for the Vita (it’s the only thing holding me back from picking it up in the first place) but posting a bunch of comments that Sony barely pays attention to isn’t helping matters. Hit up the forums, send out e-mails en masse, and the PS.Blog Share to get the message out. Still not satisfied? Well have you tried boycotting until your demands are met, hm? Vote with your wallet people.

  • You make it seem like we dont do that. i use to post on the official forums regularly although those were mainly for the psp as during my time as a psp owner i felt we werent getting enough attention for the system and games. Its the sheer fact that we (sometimes) get replies and response from here more than say the forums. That share blog thing is a joke. i tried countless times to ask for more support and they get deleted for being off topic despite me putting in the right places.

All im saying is this is one of the places where we can express our opinion about the matter, but it seems like you guys (not you in particular) want us to keep our mouth shut, thus they (the people at sony) thinks everything is all fine and dandy when everything has its pros and cons. this is a perfect system so stop acting like it is. it has games for people whether you like them or not, but there still isnt enough for everyone. If you are pleased by they way they are supporting the Vita right now, you have every right to express, but dont forget we have that right as well.

  • And dont get me wrong. i cant stand people to whine and bash, but its mainly those people who are like “Vita has no games” yet dont express what they want, to show sony how they can improve. i have yet to see anyone type like that on these forums/blogs.

I do vote with my wallet. i bought a Vita because like the psp i knew i was going to enjoy it, ill buy the games i want too, but they are making it hard when they barely release anything, and all in all thats what at least for me what im talking about. Sony as a company can do far better than this. This isnt something new they’ve been in the portable business before, but it seems like some people think its ok for us to get nothing. no games with psn updates, no information in the slightest. nothing.

  • Gotta go with Max Payne 3 this week.

  • Prototype 2 is full game with DLC?

  • Oh come on you guys 85% of ou have PS3 who owns PSVITA you really want to miss on good quality games and switch it up to handheld to mnote I have just few games for Vita and there is no reason for me to reade it in I’ll wait as long as needed for me quality is factor not mass production thats way I have Sony and Apple devies in me homw and I trust only them /// My point is fireup your PS3 enjoy for a whilw it will gwt here give it time good stufff never coms in 3 month

  • @igorrocks2
Next time you post, check your typos. You write like you have dyslexia.
Also, NO ONE is complaining about Vita not having games every week.

We are complaining that Sony sold us a lie. Something we can probably sue over.
You promised PS1 compatibility and PSP compatibility. Not even half of the PSP library works. and PS1 doesn’t work at all.

Seriously Sony, $400+ I spent on promises. I have PS1 classics waiting to be played and some that I haven’t bought yet because they can’t be played on my vita.

ALL WE WANT ARE ANSWERS. ANSWERS. ANSWERS. STOP BEING CORPORATE LYING BULLIES. You’re being bullies because you’re giving us the silent treatment when that is the last thing we deserve. You lied because of all the reasons listed above.

  • On top of that, remote play is terrible and an advertising lie. Not to mention cross play was overly hyped to be something it’s not. Change your marketing if all you do is lie in advertisements.
People will say I’m being a whiner or wasting time yelling at my computer screen but to all of you I say, quit riding Sony’s lap and realize that they straight up lied to all Vita owners and are using shady, dirty corporate ideas. I am the first to stick up for Sony but not anymore, not if they don’t have the decency to ever answer me, an overpaying STUPID customer.

  • “Comments are the lifeblood of the PlayStation.Blog, and we encourage you to keep the conversation going in a relevant, constructive way. ”

That’s what it says next to the comment box. Almost every week I post something in a constructive manner that is nowhere near as angry as my posts above, and every week I get no answer.

More lying from Sony. If comments are the lifeblood of the Playstation.Blog then why can we never have our prestigious blogrunners feed the lifeblood.

  • vita games please!! This thing was not cheap!!

  • Vita PS One support sooner please

  • Will we get the original Max Payne for FREE today like our Euro pals earlier this month???

    PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE!!!!

  • add a wishlist to the psn store.. going back searching for all the games again is ridiculous after a while. and show the stuff that is installed on the ps hd.. have a check mark or something

  • @102; As if your trollish behavior would be quelled by old games. You’re unreasonable as is.

You’d just shift gears to, “YOU EXPECT ME TO BE HAPPY WITH OLD GAMES!!!”

People like yourself will never be happy. Do yourself a favor and never buy at launch, because every launch ever has gone this way. It’s a foreseeable “issue” that if you were too ignorant to see, the fault is all on yourself for not being a smart consumer and RESEARCHING how things tend to go down with new hardware.

  • Buying a system at launch is investing in that platforms future. Additional features are always added ata future date. The fact that they are attempting toadd the PS1 feature at all is enough for right now. The success of this system is going to be based on future software. I understand that being this close to E3 means a lack of new information so it can be used as an event at their conference. Patience for the next three weeks please, sunding like spoiled children is not going to be effective in speeding this along.

  • I think it is funny how 100 people will complain about the vita and then 3 people will completely take over the blog for a while with how they should not complain.Like they are trying to force them to believe the way they do.

  • Sounds cool…… Now, I’ll have to buy the new Max Payne 3!!!!!
