  • In for BGaE. Been waiting for a discount on this for a while! Can’t wait! Thank you as always!

  • guys, we got Age of Zombies and Monstar Hear Me Roar working on the Vita today check them out! they look great on the 5 inch OLED screen too! :)

  • @142,

A comment earlier wanted someone to get fired. A bit excessive. By the way, what’s broken? I ask that because I’m really curious. I’m all about communication, and am glad inconsistencies like price gets brought up. I just wish it didn’t come with such an attitude from people.

  • Better yet, let’s leave it. I’m with geronimo_74. Age of Zombies is a fun mini! I need to see how it plays on the Vita.

  • @Morgan: Your job sucks. Let me explain before you totally ignore this post. I just replied on how I thought it was awesome that Beyond Good and Evil was on sale, totally forgetting about the Rayman deal that was supposed to start. I was in for Rayman (was ever since I saw the $15 price tag), but am more excited about the unexpected discount on BG&E, which totally distracted me long enough to forget that Rayman was even “coming out” today. So I posted without even reviewing other posts (which I normally read), then went back to catch up. After reading a whole lot of whining (which is typical of each week), I don’t envy your job. I do, however, think that you are good at it and seem to have a lot of patience. Please keep up the hard work. Now, go relax and have a beer or something.

    • lol. my job is awesome because it’s challenging! Even though there’s plenty of criticism (much of it is completely valid btw), the comments on PS Blog with regards to PSN are a pleasure to review. thanks for the support!

  • Can you guys at least give us a hint that PSOne games will start working on Vita soon? I have a feeling an update will be announced at E3 that we can download it instantly that day.. but please, at least say like 2-3 months or longer? I purchased Resident Evil 2, 3, and Final Fantasy VII, VIII and IX all with the intent to play on my new shiny Vita.. :( been waiting since February.

  • Whew, looks like most of the complainers have left. This Blog might just get back to normal :)

  • So the $15 sale price on Rayman Origins isn’t happening on May 29? That was the correction posted in the comments in the May PS+ Preview post.

  • Hey dont get me wrong people like those who want people fired are kinda pathetic. But it goes both ways as there are people here (not on this topic, but mainly others) who wanted people banned from PSN (thus losing all their games) because of their opinions on here. so there is fault on both sides.

To the fixes there are Pixel junk games that while stated to be playable on the Vita today, but is in correct even Morgan stated that it was being fixed. all im saying is it seems like you are the type of people when something is done right, or broken you sit quietly till it gets fix, when there are other people who like to voice out so it can be fixed faster, or even acknowledged, as i would assume people higher up (or people working for them) read these post.

  • Anything on why Arkedo Series never came out here? I want them on my PS3. I love Arkedo’s games and I’ve been waiting patiently forever.

  • @152: If you think that complaining gets anything fixed FASTER then you’re just silly. Almost as silly as those who think complaining over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again about the same thing is going to make it happen faster.

As if Sony’s employees just sit around and wait for a million complaints before bothering to actually start working. *eye roll*

The entitled and “I know more about development and how fast it should be than those at Sony” attitude that many have WHILE complaining about things is ridiculous. No business tells you exactly what is going on. It’s a business. They are working on these things, they don’t have to have someone completely unrelated to the actual development of something to relay that information for it to be happening.

People should say, “Hey any word on xxxxx?” and leave it at that, but no. Gotta whine like children. “ARE WE THERE YET!?”

    • I have to disagree on this one. While we can’t do anything on things like “when is xxx coming to the Store”, if there are genuine issues, we do spot those and make paths to correct things. At the same time, we look some of the more critical, long play items, and are building those into future strategies. So yeah, most things won’t be an overnight fix, but it’s the aggregate discussions of the critical stuff that we’re paying attention to, and working to effect change.

  • When did we ever state that Sony employees are sitting and waiting just reading? i would assume some if them skim through it from time to time, just to get an overall assumption of what we as consumer want. And again i doubt they know 100% of the time if an item they released is working. so its up to us to at least tell them assuming they dont know.

Seeing as how it was released one would assume it works right? well according to some people here its not thus they want to know if its being look into. and seeing as how Morgan replied it seeing to be working.

Again i dont see how us expressing how we feel about an item, or service is a bad thing. Do you feel 100% of the time Sony does something is awesome, best for them? i highly doubt that. all companies has fault no matter what and people have every right to express them. Just because you feel like they are pleasing you every day of the week doesnt mean that other with the same opinion.

Like take your last portion of your comment. Maybe people have been trying to ask nicely and every week they are left with unanswered question. so much so that they are tried asking nicely.

  • Look all im saying is i dont see why you people feel like we should only leave good comments on these blog post. If people are unhappy they have every right to express their feelings. this along with the forum, and other sony brand websites are the only ways for us to express how we feel about their service. we arent doing this because we hate the company we are doing this to show that they can do better. Why is this a bad thing? everything is not candy-covered, or all happy and dandy. so i dont know why you feel like everyone should be happy all the time with these PSN updates.

As a Vita fan i have every right to express why i dislike the vita/psp portions of these update because they are lacking. while i understand not all updates can have said games especially with the Vita since it new, but then whats wrong with releasing Psp games? Granted now it seems to be taking it seriously since the recently posted a bunch of psp/mini to be released, and i would assume much more to come.

  • Hello, i bought Velocity Mini with the purpose of transferring it to my Vita to play, but it doesn’t even show on the transfer list nor does it show in the PS Vita store App. Help please.

  • I really don’t like how the whole Rayman Origin thing was handle, it shows a complete lack of respect to us the consumers (the ones you pay your paycheck and keep your marketshare where it is) and is just a sloppy way to do business.

I’ve waited three weeks for Rayman Origins and even filled my wallet full of money to buy it and others things of course. I also renewed my Plus subscription exactly one week ago and my reward is no game (the only game I was really looking forward to today), no statement of when it will be available but what’s even worst is no respect to be told it was not coming out but just a removal from the post and it’s covered up.

That’s crap Sony, after everything that happened last year you owe every dedicated fan more than that.

  • BLUExEYEDxSLICKT

Well I did buy a Vita yesterday with a carry case and 8 gig card but no games cause so much free stuff and demo’s are on the psn store already and was really enjoying my vita that I caved in for the second time since march 1st the last time I bought a vita and then returned it cause it hardly had any support in games or features at that point. Well I was really enjoying the vita with all the free games and demo’s and then I started noticing dark and light grey lines going up and down on the screen when the color green showed up in settings and then it would really look bad when anything grey showed up on screen you really could see it. When I played netfix or games and demos when everything on screen is crystal clear and vibrant I didn’t see the lines but I would on the interface. My wife even brought it to my attention so I returned everything today and want to cry but I loved that vita the time I had it. What was wrong with that screen Morgan? Is that a known issue?

  • Rock of Ages is free?! AWESOME.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

  • @153 Elvick

I’ve been waiting for the Arkedo minis too. I wrote to Arkedo and Sanuk Games. Arkedo wrote back saying it’s all in Sanuk’s hands.

Sanuk Games confirmed that SCEA denied seperate release of these three games and wants them to be bundled. Sanuk lost it’s release slot by the time this came around and their programmers are on to different projects. They told me that when they get a chance the programmers will bundle them and submit to SCEA again. They couldn’t give me a time frame.

So all hope is not lost for the North American release of the 3 Arkedo “minis”.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

I’m figuring it was the screen itself and not internal. Cause I made screen shots with its screen capture feature and put the pictures on my ps3 to look at on my nig screen tv and I never say the lines that showed clear as day on the vita. So that tells me it wasn’t a internal problem with the vita it must of been the outside of the screen that is protected from the hard glass casing or plastic casing. It felt like glass though lol. Man I miss my vita already but I couldn’t deal with those dark lines going up and down on the screen. The vita I bought back in March never showed lines like that so I should’ve kept that vita. Now I miss this one I bought yesterday and returned today. I stayed up all night last night downloading games, demo’s and playing it trying to ignore those lines but I just couldn’t. They had no more vita’s in stock at my walmart so I had to just return it. It sucks. What was wrong with my screen anyone know?

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

Nig and say? Whoops sorry for those typo’s above lol. I meant to say Big and Saw.

  • Will the PlayStation Store ever be available through the web? I would make purchases, but I have no access to my PS3.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

Anyways great sells you got going Morgan! All the creed games I may get since I’m a plus member on my MAIN account. So I gotta take advantage of those discounts. Oh and I may complain a lot on here more than anyone but man you digital price hater gotta chill with yelling at Morgan on the digital prices. You all seem to forget that with disc you get only ONE disc and that’s it. With digital you pay the price of one disc but get the game twice and can have the game on two ps3’s at once. Its why I only do digital every chance I get now. Heck I have been replacing one by one my disc games when they hit psn and sell my disc versions. I just bought Saints row 3 and now have it on both my ps3’s. Sold the disc version earlier today and bought a 20 dollar psn card with it. Works for me lol. Anyways stop complaining about digital its a better deal than disc hands down. If you have only one ps3 OH WELL sad day for you lol.

  • I’m curious, why do you have two PS3’s?
    If you don’t mind…

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

I use to have 4. But when sony downed the activation’s from 5 to 2 I sold 2 ps3’s to family for dirt cheap. Anyways I have two ps3’s cause I have a wife and 4 kids so they love to game against me online on the games that have multiplayer on them. Plus the 2nd ps3 is in the bedroom and my wife mostly uses it for netflix and semi games on it to. Why else would I have 2? lol. When I had 4 I had one in each of the 4 rooms in my house. But since they changed the activation’s I said screw keeping 4 then.

  • Any chance that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories price on the PSN store will ever match the retail price? I’m not going to pay $10 more for something that doesn’t give me a physical copy, but I can’t play the UMD on my Vita. I’m sure this won’t get a response because I’ve asked this 5 times now and never got one because you only reply to the softball questions and posts that are praising you.

  • Is there any way to take advantage of PlayStation Plus deals like the free Rock of Ages when one is travelling and doesn’t have access to one’s PS3? I’d hate to miss out on timed deals like this just because I can’t login on my PS3 for a while. The Media Go app. lets me keep up with things for my PSP, which I can bring along with me anyway, but I don’t see anything similar for the PS3 side of the store.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

That’s how I pop up in these blogs as tons of different user names all the time lol. We can have 16 accounts on one ps3. So I can have 32 different psn accounts between the two but so far I only have 20 accounts made. The others are my kids and wifes accounts lol. I could pop up in here as so many people and no one would even know it! Oh and if you want to know why I have so may psn accounts its because of noobs on GT5 kicking me for no reason when I win to much and so I sign into a different account real fast and join their room again and act as someone else and when the race starts I wreck the heck outta the host and ruin his race like he ruined mine when he kicked me for no reason. Oh and so many different country accounts to. So many reasons to have different psn accounts.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

But the real reason I have so many psn accounts is because before that patch GT5 got that prevents us from duplicating cars over million credits came out I was having a ball duplicating my X1’s and trading cars all the time online and used all my accounts to make hundreds of duplicated X1’s to trade off for other different color X1′ and paint chips. Now that they stopped us from doing that it took the fun out of Gt5 mostly and gave me tons of useless psn accounts lmao.

  • when can i play Angry Birds on my VITA …. thats all i want …. geez.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

But, I have been with sony ps3 since 2007 and so I should’ve kept all 4 of my ps3’s cause we still get 5 activation’s on any game we bought before I think if I remember right Nov 18th 2011. After that date any game you bought after that date was only 2 activations. So I really had no reason to sell 2 of my 4 ps3’s I had at the time. But I was pissed that sony was downing the activation’s cause I loved the fact I could buy 1 game and had it 5 times. Oh well 2 is better than 1 still lol.

  • Still want to see:

    Twisted Metal avatars
    TM DLC (if possible)
    Petition: http://www.groubal.com/twisted-metal-dlc-from-eat-sleep-play-and-sony/#signatures

    as well as:

    Starhawk avatars

Definitely looking forward to the DLC coming for Starhawk. I was a huge skeptic when it came to whether Starhawk would be any good but now feel it is a triumph. I’m enjoying myself immensely.

Makes one wonder why there was planned DLC for SH but not for Twisted Metal. A lack of chemistry in development? Sony’s lack of belief in the IP? Please please please support TM with at the very least, avatars, and a solid online component.

  • EVIL_D-E-M-O-N-S

But I understand why sony downed those activations. We had noobs as in bad sony consumers bending against the rules of those activation’s and was game sharing with friends and that’s against sony policy. Heck I even knew that day 1. I can read lol. But so many of you were still game sharing across miles apon miles with people on your friend list so sony had to put a stop to that cause the developers were losing money. I understand why they did it but it sucks to us that used it right, Only for US the buyers could game share with ourselves on our own ps3’s. People didn’t stick to that. It still sucks us legit people got screwed that had like me 4 ps3’s before they changed it.

I’ll buy a vita next when the price of the wifi version drops to 200 or when the 250 dollar wifi vita is bundled with a 8 gig stick and game for 250 dollars. Otherwise I’ll wait till that happens till I buy one again.

Anyways I know its a broken record as I have chatted too much already but again, THANKS Morgan for the awesome sells this week on the creed games. That’s a deal right there man. Can get AC 1, 2 and brotherhood with all the map packs included with all the games that has map packs for all 3 under 35 bucks with my plus discounts. That’s freaking awesome right there. Thanks Sony! Very happy right now with that along. No complaints this week with the store update I’m a happy camper this week. Thank you Morgan!

  • And yet another week with the Vita getting the shaft. Mine’s sitting there collecting dust.

  • @ Elvick, that is pretty much how a business entity operates. You explained it clearly, though it was abit harsh. However, this is a public forum & users like itofu has a right to voice an opinion. Just agree to disagree. A corporation can never provide enough & the customer is never completely satisfied; both parties should be alittle more Zen towards each other, haha.

GO SEE THAT ON THE BLOG!

3 weeks ago, the director of PSN Store, Grace Chen put that publicity to attract much attention on PSN in may surely hoping for more PSN sales with great content.

Some came, put not big ones that were showed for today in the that marketing offer:

    Assassin’s Creed Revelations – 5/15
    Batman Arkham City – 5/15
    Rayman Origins– 5/15
Need for Speed The Run – 5/15

and a special: Rayman: Origins – 5/15 (PS Plus Price: $15.00)

At the beginning of the update today, they were on the list above, now it is erased without explaination to the public.

I feel the most frustrating thing of all this is not that the games are not there, it is the lack of information why it is absent and now that publicity on April 24 looks like a LIE for those games.

  • Hi i just came here to ask SONY just one simple question!!!!

WHY ARE PLAYSTATION GAMES DIGITAL COPIES on the PSN so spensives???

You are charging 60$ for a Digital Copy when you clearly dnt need to spend money on the plastic Box nor BR Disc and paper…..

    so… Why….. i think a 40$ price for a old ps3 game its ok and maybe 50$ for a NEW release…but 60$..??? Its too much…

How can You expect us to make a transition into the digital format when you are charging us for THE SAME AMOUNT as Retails does!!!

If You want to win the war on Use games this is NOT the right way to star doing it!!!!

I think you are being GREEDY making customer to spend that kind of money when clearly a digital copy will not give You anything else!!! You wont have special items nor you will be able to take the game to a friends house!!!

People should say, “Hey any word on xxxxx?” and leave it at that, but no. Gotta whine like children. “ARE WE THERE YET!?”

The problem Elvick, is that dear old dad, Sony, is driving around in circles with a broken gps and he forget to bring along a map, so the whining children are justifiably irritated because he’s gone absolutely nowhere.

I should not have to bring it to anybody’s attention that PJM deluxe isn’t working on the vita, that’s not my job. Six psp games and seven minis that nobody cares about for the vita in 3 months? And they’re excited to bring us this? Do we look stupid, do we act stupid, are we a bunch of clueless hapless sony fanbots to accept this sorry, pathetic showing as their best effort? WTH have they been doing for three months? They should be ashamed, they need a serious reality check. This is NOT acceptable. If this is their attitude, they’re done for. PS4, forget it, they’ll be in bankruptcy court long before the ps4 shows.

  • I jumped on the 2.00 Bundle for PixelJunk + 1.00 for the other Pixel junk game yesterday. HOW CAN I NOT IT”S 3 BUCKS FOR 4 GAMES! :D Damn you SOny!

    But great discounts this week

  • HALF of ubisoft titles are missing that they have on psn for a sale/dlc. second is i am not seeing alot of the dlc of assassins creed on sale

  • I already told my 7 years old son that we’d be purchasing Rayman Origins next week and already added money to my PS+ account. Now that I hear 15$ discount is not happening, it’d be really hard to tell my son. I hope they change their mind and put it on the store next week .

  • Carlos23: Your problem is you want to ask Sony. You should go ask the game publishers. Sony DOES NOT SET THE PRICE FOR DIGITAL GAMES FROM 3RD-PARTY PUBLISHERS. The original publishers set their digital prices. Go complain to Activision, EA, Square-Enix, etc. about their pricing digital games at launch day prices when they can be bought at retail for significantly less. Sony has no control over what other companies choose to sell their games for. Period.

  • awesome discounts :) still no new avatars?

  • no love for the Vita? Why the hell did I bought a piece of expensive hardware on day one and now it is lying there eating dust?

  • hello playstation
please add the rest of the metal gear collections on psp

No, it doesn’t. But it comes with : A plastic case, and you can lend it to anyone, and (prepare for impact:) you can sell it for some money back if you feel like it after you grow tired of it or if you don’t like it.

Actually it comes with all that and the Radnet pack!

  • When will Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 come onto PSN Store? I bought Persona 3 FES and I’m addicted to it. So, I thought it would be great if Persona 4 came onto PSN store.

    • While I don’t have an official answer, my guess would be probably not anytime soon since the P4 remake is coming to PS Vita.

  • Another disappointing Vita update. I would really like a reason to turn mine on.
