UPDATE: See the new PlayStation Plus games for March 12th, 2013 here

The month of May brings some of my favorite times of the year. It gives me a chance to step back and look at the gigantic list of PS3 and PSN games that I want to dedicate time to before the end-of-year holiday onslaught. Even better, it’s a perfect time to pick up digital titles that I never had time to play earlier. Why is the Playstation Plus price more expensive than the sale price for the games on the list from Assassins Creed 2 through Prince of Persia (2008) ?

It does suck that there aren’t any vita games on sale. I was also hoping for ‘I am Alive’ to be on sale as well. Oh well, maybe next time.

+ OneMoreVillain on May 15th, 2012 at 11:47 am said:

I don’t get the low rating either, I just “5″d this to balance it out. This is an awesome selection of games, and though I am disappointed I am broke this week ( Why Ubisoft !?) This is still an amazing deal and line up.

+ ReptileHand on May 15th, 2012 at 12:00 pm said:

Picked up Scott for $5 last summer and Outland for $10. Don’t know about Beyond Good and Evil though. It makes me wonder, why isn’t Rayman Origins on here? It would make sense, actually I think it was planned for today but instead got pushed to the 29th. I would really like to own a physical copy so I don’t have to limit my one copy to only 2 PS3s. Digital is cool but with the 2 ps3 limit, not so much. Not all of us have 1 terrabyte PS3s. The one in stores is $30 while the digital will be $15.

22

+ Kchow23 on May 15th, 2012 at 12:02 pm said:

How about a sale on PS Vita Games? I would jump at the chance of getting Rayman Origins for the PS Vita if there was a sale. I found and bought Lumines: Electronic Symphony on sale for $19.99 which is the price point that it should’ve been released at.

23

+ supermoc10 on May 15th, 2012 at 12:06 pm said:

Why don’t Vita Ubisoft games get discounts too?
I would’ve loved to buy Dungeon Hunters Alliance at a discount since I think it’s a fun game(played the demo) but wouldn’t pay $40 for it.

Yeah i rated it a 5. Some people just…..well you know. I’ll think about getting Prince of Persia:The Forgotten Sands before the week is over if not today.

@ReptileHand

Rayman Origins is being sold brand new for 20 bucks at many locations in Southern Ontario…not sure if it’s the same price where you are located though? Myself I would rather have the physical copy as opposed to Downloadable copies, unless they are cheaper than the BluRay versions.

+ Richlando on May 15th, 2012 at 12:11 pm said:

Shame we didn’t get Assassins Creed Revelations today like I had thought we would. Part of this sale would have meant an instant purchase for me.

Just want to say that these are fantastic deals from Ubisoft. Combined with new psp games and such for Vita, this is an incredibly huge PSN update this week. Amazing deal for Outland, Prince of Persia, and Assassin’s Creed games. I will grab Brotherhood and if you have not picked up the Forgotten Sands you should it is a fantastic game for that price!

Wow, looks like a Ubi fire sale. I’ll be buying some of these, thanks! I hated the Beyond Good & Evil demo. It proved to me that all these classic games the whiners lay on the floor & cry for are just nostalgic blurred vision memories. They loved them a few years ago when they were in grammar school. However, for less than a frap @ Starbucks, I can risk my money on it now.

The AC games are all great & a complete steal. The only one I don’t have is the PSP one, so getting that.

35

+ OneMoreVillain on May 15th, 2012 at 12:58 pm said:

Beyond good and Evil is just Nostalgia? Stupid gamers these days have no attention spans or appreciation for actual game play.

SWEEEET!!!

Definitely gonna snag Beyond Good and Evil HD, From Dust (challenging demo) and I have been waiting fom Myst PS1 version to come out forever as it was seriously overpriced on teh PSP for a game that is 15yrs old.

Would love to dive into the Assassin’s Creed franchise, as I have yet to play any of the games. Ditto on the Call of Juarez 2 Complete Edition.

Lates’

I am guessing the “original price” isn’t shown here because NONE of the PS3 PS Plus prices are actually 50% off??

(Having just checked through them all at the store… although a single Add-on came close…)

this is truly a very good sale. I’d love to see more Full PS3 games do a sale like this after they’ve been on the market for a good while.

@40: What part of “PS Plus Price” and “SALE PRICE” is hard to understand? I mean… PS+ Price’s are lower than the regular sale price… that’s not hard to understand.

Wow, great sale! I’ve been waiting for a deal on PoP Epilogue since I got my PS3, so I grabbed that and Scott Pilgrim. Also considering Beyond G&E, PoP Classic, and Outland…

Next, we need Konami to run a similar sale so I can finally grab the Castlevania LoS add-ons!
