Hi Everyone -
There’s much to talk about in this week’s PlayStation Store update, including new PS3 Full Game downloads, an amazing new PS Vita title that takes advantage of the system’s AR (Augmented Reality) capabilities, brand-new PSN games and the return of some fan-favorite PlayStation classics.

We’re happy to join the Sorcery celebration this week with the title being available to download on the PlayStation Store. In this PS3 exclusive, take control of a young sorcerer’s apprentice and master the arcane arts to fight back the foul creatures that inhabit this magical realm. Sorcery puts the power in the players’ hands with PlayStation Move by allowing you to conjure and command powerful magic as you brave the dark world of the Faerie Kingdoms. Check out all of the great coverage for Sorcery if you crave more info, then head to the PlayStation Store to download it today.

In other PS3 Full Game news, fighting game aficionados will be happy to see Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition available on the PlayStation Store. This upgraded version of the initial SFIV release features new characters, new environments, and a few additions to the online experience that make for a more complete package. If you never picked it up on disc, you can now download a copy from the PlayStation Store.

PS Vita gamers will want to check out Table Top Tanks: an all-new explosive Augmented Reality game. Using the device’s rear camera, this game builds the battlefield based on where you’re pointing your Vita (preferably on a table top). Control nimble yet deadly tanks through a variety of single player challenges, or join three of your friends in multiplayer matches across a number of game types.

Fans of the classic show Doctor Who will be thrilled to see Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock arriving today. In Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, players take on the role of the Doctor and River Song as they travel across space and time in an effort to save Earth by journeying to the Eternity Clock, a planet that is a record of everything that has (or will ever happen) in all of creation.

More classics including the PS One Classic Alone in The Dark: The New Nightmare, as well as PS2 Classics like Syphon Filter: The Omega Strain and Need for Speed: Most Wanted are dropping today as well (please note that Alone in the Dark PS one Classic is only playable on PS3.

The PSN-exclusive masterpiece Journey now has a demo available to download. If you haven’t taken the dive on this instant classic, head to the PlayStation Store to see what you’ve been missing. To commemorate the release of this demo, we’re also having a sale on thatgamecompany’s other hits flOw and Flower, along with other special content from thatgamecompany like themes, avatars, soundtracks and more. The sale is on for all of PSN, but PlayStation Plus members get an additional discount

I understand that Europe has been the subject of much discussion in the game markets, and effort has been made, and things are getting better for them and releases nowadays. However, don’t follow this incorrect trend of shafting NA because fps is king. Not everyone buys that crap, and they’re mostly xbots anyways. Don’t make the same mistakes scee and most other companies branches in Eu made in the last decade to NA.Utilize the low risk Psn options companies like nis know we are here, and chose you to make this feasible. They know, do you ?

Get with it. We’re watching you. Fool me once…….

@203 – What, no KINGDOM HEARTS Re:Chain of Memories? Really, though, I’d sooner expect all three (and maybe Birth by Sleep, if not Days and Re:coded) in an HD collection.

@207 If any of those are PS2 then sure, I agree with Chain of Memory since it’s a big part between Kingdom Hearts one & two….365/2 was not so i could careless….Birth by Sleep was for PSP so i dont care for it either.

Anyway, i was wondering, Blizzard said Diablo 3 would have a console version too, do you guys think it’ll be released on PS3?

I hope so, because even though i already have it on PC, i’d rather play it on my PS3, while laying down on bed =P

I’m having trouble getting Alone in the Dark to work on my PSP Go. I keep getting “copyright information invalid” error messages whenever I transfer it with Media Go. I tried with a PS3, but the PS3 doesn’t even given the option to install the game on PSP.

I’ve already run into another person having the same “copyright information invalid” issues on GameFAQs.

!! I’m concerned that this might be a repeat of the Star Wars: Dark Forces fiasco (wherein it hit the PSN erroneously claiming PSP compatibility when it was PS3-only). !!

Any chance somebody could look into this??

I’m having the same problem with Alone in the dark: The new nightmare. I can’t copy it to my PSP. The download to the PSP doesn’t work because of the “copyright information invalid”. Is it a PS3-ONLY PSOne classic??? The PSN info was “play it on both PS3 and PSP”! So what?!

When you have selected the game on your PS3, you can read “PS3″ and not “PSP”.
I bought it for my PSP, too. 5.99$ for nothing!!! They describe it as playable on PS3 and PSP!

I just need to point out how idiotic it is to allow a game to be released on one system and then wait about a year to release the same game on another. Examples: Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerfall & Rock of Ages.

Rock of Ages I was lucky enough to get free because of Playstation Plus, but I would not have paid for it (when I would have happily done so originally when it first came out on Xbox) because in that long long long delay to PS3 release I played it on my nephew’s Xbox.

Same exact thing with D&D: Daggerfall. It took so damn long one weekend playing games with my nephew on his Xbox we purchased, downloaded and played through Daggerfall. Now I have no reason to buy it.

I’m not saying it’s necessarily Sony’s fault on late game releases from 3rd party developers, just that this is what happens when you take too damn long to release something.
