    i would love to buy lots of games through psn. but what is my motivation to do so when i can stop at a store and buy them cheaper? sony, you must price these games appropriately; you can easily undercut gamestop’s pricing on some of these older titles, yet you insist on charging a higher price.

    this does nothing to curb the scourge you consider used game sales and does nothing to change the consumers mind on why used game sales are bad. the whole situation paints you, the company, in a very negative light. steam gets it, sony does not. disappointed.

    Infamous 2 is taking FOREVER to download…. started it well before Hatfields & McCoys came on and it’s still only around 10GB done..

    15GB for the game and all the DLC stuff is 100KB…

    but still long ass download… but oh well… good TV happened to be on tonight.

    I also demand a refund for the difference in pricing for resistance burning skies! This is just unbelievable guys. It’s just like Unit 13 digital launch all over again, only that was for the “online pass” blunder. Not to mention that both games are first-party titles and I never had any problems with third party games, in terms of purchasing experience. Next stop: gravity rush. I already plan to buy and later give it one-star because you guys fail to provide us (digital-copy users) with preorder bonuses like the retail ones. Let’s see if you can manage not to spoil it further.

    I’m so sick of you digital whinners over disc. Don’t go crying to me when that disc game wears out your bluray drive and that disc is useless. us digital guys can still pay them games just fine digital with a bluray drive completely bad in the ps3. Plus that digital game will be on both of my ps3’s so my kids can play me online off different consoles for the price of one game. Where as with disc that can’t be done unless you go out and buy another disc game costing way more money. So stop complaining. The worse that can happen with digital is the hard drive goes out and that is a easy fix. Just go out and buy a hard drive and replace it yourself and redownload your game back as with a bluray laser its a mail it to sony and get a referb back WEEKS LATER. Good luck lol.

    Oh and please for the love of almight god lol, please bring STARHAWK to psn for download. I hate having the disc. I have made my ps3 last me a year and a half now using 99% of the time digital games only and now I have been wearing the daylights out of my bluray drive with starhawk. I’m just 3 trophies away from platinum on that game already. I just have this feeling my bluray drive will fail before I can platinum it. Its hard locking on me a ton on that game. That’s the warning signs of that laser about to hit the crapper.

    And what happens when Sony services go out? or god forbid an outage like last year? Really if your disc are breaking you obviously need to take care of your things better. Yes things break but far less often when you keep things nice and neat, so that logic is flawed in your argument.
    Plus what happens if/when you are get banned, or some corrupt data? granted bans and get lifted, and you can continue to download it, but what if that doesnt happen?
    You need to also look at the fine print on Digital content (not just for games) at any time they can take away your account without tell you and for no reason.

    And im not even someone who dislike digital media. Im ok with it when its priced right, but for me in most cases its better to go physical-wise. i know where my games are, they are always with me. i can play them any time i want.

    All im saying is there is no reason to hate on one, or the other. Both media has their pros and cons, and some people just feel better with physical, or digital, or both.

    Last week’s PSOne Classic release of “Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare” is incompatible with PSP, yet it’s featured in the Media Go store! It also says “compatible with PS3/PSP” in the PS3 store!

    Could someone please look into fixing this? I wouldn’t have bought it via Media Go if it had been properly tested, as I’m only interested in playing it on PSP.

    I’m not going to be one of those unreasonable nerdragers that this blog has in excess: I recognize that we’re all human and mistakes happen. But please, do look into this!!

    Sony REALLY needs to update the damn ps3 and vita already! The ps3 firmware update its freaking outdated by now! For the love of god… and All the promises of the vita….. where are they? i bough a vita day ONE to support u guys…. why arent u supporting US who paid full price… we just want awesome stuff. on our vitas… but sony wont deliver what HACKERS already did! WHATS UP WITH THAT! Sony dont let hackers outdo U!     “Unfortunately, we cannot offer a credit or partial refund due to the price decrease. I know how frustrating this is for you and I sincerely apologize.”

    Is this going to be Sony’s stance? I want my money back!!!!!

    @227 and 228… I hate to say this but I’m not surprised by this reaction. It may have been a mistake on their part but we saw the game at 40 dollars and purchased it that way. It would be nice of them but sony probably isn’t going to give out refunds as long as the terms of use is on their side.

    Well, Im really mad about Resistance Burning Skies.

    Yesterday I purchased the digital Copy from my PS3 System for $39.99 dollars, amount that has been taken from my wallet. Since the download was running slow, I grabed my PS Vita, open the store and for a shockingly surprise, the game that I’ve just purchased is priced at $35.99. I want a refund for this.     So I recall that RAYMAN ORIGINS was suppose to be available via PSN download on May 15th with a PS+ price of $15. The date came and went and no Rayman Origins was on PSN, heard it has been delayed for whatever reason then it finally becomes available for PSN download on May 29th, however, with a PS+ price of $24, not $15. Sooooo WTF? It was suppose to be $15 as advertised previously, not $24.

    In other news, game is hard drive friendly….takes up only 1.5+ GB of space so that is great….unlike some of those Ultimate bundles…..13+ GB of space for Bioshock 2 and its DLC…g-damn…

    First of all I just want to say you guys are the best out of the “Big 3” as far as communication/feedback with your fan base goes. The other 2 guys don’t have an official forum like this so thank you :)

    As an owner of a PS3 and Vita, this Cross-Play concept is very cool indeed. However paying $60 for MLB The Show on PS3 and $40 for the same game on Vita, is a bit steep for the neat, but not essential ability to share game saves/data across both devices. There should be some sort of discount option where if I bring both games up to the counter at any game retailer, there should be some sort of instant discount – get both games for $80 type thing. This Cross-Play thing simply won’t fly if we’re forced to spend $100 every time we want to do it.

    Oh and thanks for the Gravity Rush and Resistance Burning Skies demos – both were awesome! Don’t believe IGN’s review score of 5.5 for Resistance – it’s much better than that, especially for a portable shooter!

    I logged in and came here just to post this, but Rayman was supposed to be 15$ guys.

    Why for the love of God did you put it up at 23$. At 15$ I would have got it, it was a smart move and a steal, but at 23$, most store have it physically for 15$, it’s almost as if you don’t like or want my money. Why would I buy it on the PSN when it’s 8$ more and take space on my hard drive.

    Not only that, but at 23$ I’m considering getting it for my Vita instead.

    15$ was a steal, but at 23$ it’s a no buy.
