The good people of Insomniac Games are preparing to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ratchet & Clank, which is coming up later this year. An HD remaster of our classic PS2 Ratchet & Clank games is something our fans have requested for a long time, and we’re looking forward to granting their wishes this summer with the Ratchet & Clank Collection.
But we’ve also heard a lot of community requests to develop a new Ratchet & Clank game, one that returns to the classic third-person Ratchet & Clank camera. We listened to your requests, and this holiday season Insomniac will release our new Ratchet & Clank game as part of our 10th Anniversary Celebration.
I’d like to officially announce that Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault will be coming soon to a PS3 near you.
Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is a fun-sized Ratchet adventure which will be available for download exclusively on the PlayStation Store. We’ve returned to the series’ classic feel, camera, controls and weapons, while innovating and giving you a whole new way to play. Even better, the addition of online features means you can experience Full Frontal Assault with your friends, so stay tuned! We’re really excited about this game, and we hope even these small tidbits about it get you excited too.
We’ve been hard at work on Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault and now we’re giving you a sneak peek at this first piece of art to give you a taste of what we have in store for you when the game launches later this year. In the meantime, we hope you pick up the Ratchet & Clank Collection when it comes out this summer. We’ll have some more news on the Collection’s release date and a special surprise for North American fans coming in the next couple of weeks.

If it doesn’t, you really should bring Percival back in a game, because of the reference in the comic, and because he’s the one who has the closest link with Ratchet in his history (Not to mention he’s awesome amazing cute and so epic *__*) XD

Hey, james, can you answer this question, or does it have to do with sony, but the pirating of these games are around the gaming industry and the psn was hacked and made everybody dumbfounded. If your against pirating of these games, then do something about it, you can search up sony jailbreak and the hackers behind it, running third party homebrew programs, these applications are on forums and official hack sites, your games are pirated and downloaded, patched, burned and accessed from the inside out, dev tools of public release and other programs also, can’t you employ something to stop this, even psn games are hacked off systems because they are downloaded to the SATA hard drives, and distributed across the world, they’re taken off because of copyright and your games all succumb to it, even your newest releases, I can search up on the piratebay, iso websites, and other stuff like that, why don’t you take those sites down, it happened with megaupload, so why not them..

I know a lot of people weren’t a fan of the Deadlocked storyline but the Deadlocked online community is probably the strongest gaming community I’ve ever known, and I don’t mean in terms of numbers(although the population of the game stayed pretty high even after the release of the ps3) but by overall friendliness of the players and their love for the game. The players would get to know each other on a personal level, and help the new kids learn how to play, which I think is rare for an online gaming community. I personally know several individuals that even went out and bought deadlocked again just to play it one last time once we all found out that the servers were going to be shut down, and now that the servers are shut down we’re hoping for the best that there will be a Ratchet: Deadlocked HD available for download on the ps store in the U.S. Got any info for us? NO WHISTLING AND WALKING AWAY! :-P
