God of War has always been awesome, I got hooked from the very beginning. It has everything story, combat and ever since it was made on PS3, the best graphics out there. A true work of art. I know Santa Monica will continue to push and improve.

One thing I hope they really try to add to Kratos model in the new God of War Ascension is chains that hang from the end of his blades and that connecting to his forearms. That would be the icing on the cake.

so again no mention for US release. why, why do u guys do that. why do u guys only do certain collectors edition for only a certain region. it should be world wide. i demand a collectors in the US as well

I’m so glad Todd Papy and the team at Sony Santa Monica recognize the strength of the God of War franchise. I appreciate the addition of multiplayer, but this particular franchise really doesn’t that.

sure ripping Helio’s head off wasn’t grotesque enough. The face smashing of Hercules wasn’t grotesque enough either. The chopping the legs off of Hermes isn’t grotesque enough.

The demo is great, go play with your barbie dolls!

You shouldn’t be playing the game if you think the Elephant’s head being split open with his brain showing and think it is too far?

I have played every GoW game and am really looking forward to this one. The cinematic look is awesome!

One thing is bothering me about the E3 demo. I really hope they tone down the blood / gore. I realize pushing the limits or gore and guts is a hallmark of the series but the geysers of blood and splitting of cranium in the death of the elephant creature seemed to be a step to far from me. The blood looked a little campy and the gore a little grotesque.
