  • @marrizone:

So long as you “buy” them, you can download them later. Just check your Download List to make sure they’re in there.

You’ll need an active Plus subscription to play some of them. Some are yours to keep, even withouth Plus.

  • there is absolutely no reason why there should not be a plus symbol next to each and every one of your names right now :)

  • Wait a minute . . . “Final Fantasy Iv: The Complete Collection Digital – Price Change *(PS3)* (now $19.99, original price $29.99)”

Does the FFIV play on the PS3? I’ve skipped buying it because I thought it was PSP-only (I don’t have a PSP, only a PS3).

Is that a typo? Or can I finally add IV to my collection?

  • so much love on this update for PS+ ^.^

you really put quite a effort on this update

I wonder if Sideway NY will be playable on vita locks like a nice game for the vita

  • @Ecks Thanks!

  • Can’t wait to see the next 12 games that’s gonna be free for PS+ All the games I want but dunno where to put them all. Gonna have to download wisely :P

  • I’m not a “Plus” member but I like this offer. If I become a “Plus” member , let’s say next week, will I have access to this free games?

  • DeathDealers_77

@luvtoseek please for the love of God just shut yer trap ya. People are looking for answers from sony not a guy who doesnt know what he is talking about!!!! Let sony answer these peoples questions!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @oycomics

    Typo. It is PSP only.

  • @Oycomics-FF IV is a PSP game. The only way you can play it on a TV is through the PSP with either a component cable (HD), or a composite cable (standard definition).

  • with Hot Shots Tennis finally Vita compatible I would like to once again ask why has the 2 pack of Hot Shots Golf: Open Tee and Hot Shots Tennis: Get a Grip never gone up on PSN? :( I really want Hot Shots Tennis and would love to get it with the first Hot Shots Golf PSP game for only $15 compared to $20 for Tennis by itself

  • What a wonderful time to have no money, and having to let my Plus Sub run out. =;_;=

  • I’d be happy paying a slightly higher rate for a Plus membership that contained this content as well as:

    – A Plus version of a Music Unlimited subscription
    – Mini games that automatically uploaded to my Vita, provided there is enough space allocated.
    – A trophy reward system that provided avatars, themes, Vita (and PS3?) profile panels, and Home content for levels earned. Basic members could earn and display trophies, and Plus members could take part in the program.

  • One more time. I wanted to buy the whole Sly Cooper Collection but I already had Sly Cooper 1 through playstation plus.. This needs to be addressed if you are going to differ between owning and subscribing you got to give the option of both.

  • I just ordered my new PS3 because my old one died. Now i’m wondering how long will this last? I might not get it till next week. Please answer!

  • @106, if I put out wrong info PLEASE correct me. Otherwise this is a PUBLIC forum; can you read? Why the rudeness? How did I offend you?

  • @106, see post 103 as an example. Other users here help each other out. Are you new here or just anti-social?

  • @TwinDad & @PhillyTheCat Thanks for the info. Was hoping I’d heard wrong all along, but alas it wasn’t meant to be.

    Aaaand . . . I see they’ve updated it.

  • test

  • I’m waiting for my ps3 to be fixed. Will I still be able to download the instant games collection next week???

  • ChaoticInfinityX

Wow, my Vita is just overflowing with new content after this update.

  • Hi, @106, I don’t recognize your tag but luvtoseek is on almost every day & always tries to help others, & he/she is pretty knowledgeable I & I’m sure all decent people here appreciate help. Really rude, dude.

  • Out of curiosity, will I ever be able to play my Phantasy Star Portable 2, or download DLC for Duodecim on my PSVita, or am I doomed to buy another PSP to replace my old one? (I gifted it to a friend). I was seriously hoping that the PSN store would have updated past the initial 100 PSP games by this point.

  • Littlegentleman

Thanks for all the free stuff Sony!!! Question though, will you be reorganizing the store UI to be a little more comprehensible like it used to be? EX: Move items used to be able to be filtered.

  • Pretty real PlayStation… I don’t know why others play on that box with the X in front of it… And I think everyone is gonna be a PlayStation Plus member now… Bandwagoners!!!! LOL Do you ever think there will be anything for the people who have been a PS Plus member since day 1? I’m curious.

  • DeathDealers_77

    Deal-Death-To-Know-It-Alls_Who_Really_Know_Nothing………..

  • I bought my Vita on release day, thrilled to have all my retro games on a 3G device. I’m a positive person, so when none of my games worked, I took a deep breath and pushed aside the crushing disappointment, focusing on what Vita COULD do. PSOne Classics would be playable “soon after release” so I settled down to be patient. Every Tuesday I’d eagerly await the Store update, only to be disappointed again. I’d read angry comments from others who had been duped, I never added my voice, knowing that complaining wouldn’t help. It’s been four long months. I stopped racing to check the store updates. I convinced myself that PSOne Classics would be an E3 release. I didn’t understand how all those months could pass without a word from Sony, without an update, an explanation. I don’t have any angry words to hurl or threats that me and my dozen friends will return all our Sony products. I just wanted you to know that all along I kept faith in Sony. Now… I just feel really stupid for being so naive.

  • So basically I’m gonna set a bunch of stuff as background download, go to bed, and wake up with everything installed hopefully.

I hope they built an entire server farm this week, cuz the PSN store is about to be slammed.

  • WOW!!! Is this your way of getting me to sign up for the PS+ network?

I think you sold me on this update! InFamous alone would’ve done the trick but hey, no complaints here!

There are only 2 games I want and they are The Last of Us and Tomb Raider. They both look absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to be standing in line for a copy…

Loved The Walking Dead series 1 and I need my fix for chapter 2 ASAP!!!

GREAT JOB GUYS, LONG LIVE PLAYSTATION!!!

  • VirtualIlusions

Loving the games….thnx…..been a member of ps plus since day 1……i have lots of great games from the program discounted and free…..any chance of being able to sort them in alphabetical order anytime soon.?…would make my gaming decisions alot easier……would be even more awesome id i could do my download history the same……..having a 150+ games makes it hard to find just 1…………lol

  • DeathDealers_77

That would be a great gamer tag but its probably taken——Really_Rude_Dude

  • Will we be able to see a summer sale anytime soon?
Amazing update by the way! ( For PS+ subscribers mostly )

  • thanks for the answer. i’m going download it has soon has i’m done with my other downloads. such a shame i all ready had hard corps uprising and that zombie game. but this will get more hard corps players online… if anyone want’s to play hard corps send me a message at my psn DJPlace.

  • Small Question: Will I be able to buy VF5FS COMPLETE EDITION even if I download the FREE PS+ version? I want to buy the COMPLETE EDITION, but I will get the money by the end of the week and I don’t want to download the free version and then see that I can’t buy the COMPLETE EDITION later.

  • @125, at E3, Jack stated Ps1 support would begin “this summer.” I’ve been waiting too; here’s hoping it arrives before August!

  • LET ME BUY THINGS!! Give me the option to own instead of rent. I don’t want a free edition of VF5 that goes away after my PS+ sub runs out.. ugh it’s so frustrating.

  • Chance_Splinter

    @ 131 (DarKaoZ)

Shouldn’t be a problem. I immediately snapped up VF5:FS though PS+, and the Complete Edition didn’t have the little “purchased” sticker on it in the store. So then I bought that (you have to manually line up all the costume packs for download), and now I’ve got a pimped-out Lei-Fei!

Don’t worry about it – just DL the game with PS+ and snag the CE when you’ve got the cash for the costumes.

  • Im happy for Vita owners, they finally get PSOne support :) Alongside ACIII CoD and YouTube!

  • Thank you so much for the opportunity to play all of these games! I’ve had Playstation Plus since around January and I’ve loved every second of it. This is just more icing on the cake. I really appreciate my PSPlus account and am looking forward to seeing what else is installed for us!

  • Great lots of games but one problem…

Haven’t beaten thus good – Virtua Fighter

    Beaten
    1. Infamous 2
    2. LBP 2

    Own – Hard Corps Uprising
    Everything else – Crappy

Really annoyed the stuff wasn’t announced earlier so it would at least be known before it changed so I could get Trine. I just know someone’s going to say you guys were busy with that E3 garbage.

  • I love all the free games but I thought there was a Vita integration to Plus this week. Is that really happening? they did not mention it during yesterday’s presser. Also, when will PSOneClassics be available for the Vita?

Gona Download every free game even though I own about 5 of them.

  • Price increase?

M.O.Z.O.X. Space Salvager – Minis (Price Change) (PS3) (now $1.99, original price $1.49)

  • Freaking Awesome !!! So glad I am a Plus member. Been one since day one and with deals like this, I don’t think I will stop being one anytime soon. Keep it up Sony !

  • $50 a year broken down is about $4.17 a month for free games. tell me where you can rent a game or buy one per month at that price? so anyone complaining should hush. i love plus had it since the beginning and the games are too awesome for the price. my kids love it, i love it, i enjoy for hours when i got time to play. ps+ is sweet.

  • @ 133, jimmyfoxhound

They are reactivated once you get PS+ again. Also, I don’t see me stopping PS+. Cloud saving and Autoupdates are the bomb! Downloading Patches as actual downloads is extremely useful for me because my internet speed is only 2mbps.

  • Tried downloading Virtua Fighter and it would get to 99% and then never finish downloading.

  • omg!!! LOTS OF NEW GAMES!! Thanks so much!

  • Definitely the strongest update in the last two years. It’s great to be a PS+ member.

  • Thanks for the great update.

But does anyone know how long these freebies will be “free” for subscribers?

I know you mentioned VF5 will be free until July 3, but is July 3 the date for all the games?

  • @132: “this summer” means about the same to me as “soon” came to mean after a few months of hopeful anticipation. Which is to say, very little. I’ve been checking the updates every week with bated breath for four months only to end up feeling like an idiot. I’m not going to be duped into getting all excited again once a week for the NEXT four months until the end of September. I’m not angry with Sony, I’m sure they intend to follow through eventually. But it is very obvious that it isn’t any kind of priority, and by this time my thrilled excitement has given way to disappointed acceptance. And I just feel stupid for racing to check the updates so many times. I really honestly believed it would be any day now… for four months. What a moron.
