Great app, but it does need to have ZOOM in/out control as it's so TINY even on my big screen (HTC Evo 4G LTE)

I have great near eyesight and it's scary how difficult it is to read.

Also, the Clan section has problems, like with Find Clan, anything I input comes up with no result at all. Plus the keyboard is hiding the search input box, and if you put the keyboard away you can't get it to come back up, and then when you go back to another section of the app the keyboard pops up.

I'd love to see this app on the PS Vita, it'd be much easier to read since that screen is WAY larger! I have a 7" tablet, haven't tried the app on it yet.

It's really cool that this app feels a lot like the game. Future of it will be awesome, I hope.

@52: I'd like to point out that the Music Unlimited app was out on the PS Vita before it was even on iOS... so that's not the issue. Sony's clearly got people on the ball with that kind of thing.

Where's the logic in not releasing a mobile application for a PlayStation 3 exclusive, on the PlayStation Vita? Because I can't see the logic behind having no plans for it. I can understand it not releasing with the iOS and Android apps, and being a lower priority, but no plans at all? Really? :/

The PS Vita is supposed to be a companion to the PS3. This goes against that.

Sony better get on the ball and get a Vita version of this app. You can't be serious you won't have a Vita version. Starhawk is a Sony game so start supporting the Vita. There's no reason you should have an iOS and Android app and not support Vita. Give more people a reason to buy a Vita.

That's new. The SGS is excluded because of a segfault while loading the app. In other words the app crashes on the SGS, which is why they excluded it.

I was pretty excited to try this, but when I go to the Android link I get an error from the store saying the app isn't supported on my device (Samsung Galaxy S). Why did you choose to exclude certain devices?

About integration Vita + PS3 in Starhawk:

Ubisoft and Microsoft are talking about this dual-screen feature presence in the next games, and I cant see a better game for PS3 + Vita than Starhawk.

Dust 514 is comming with a app for Vita?
Ok, but Starhawk is there, up and running already!

How cant anyone at Sony / LBI see this as a opportunity to be the first to put this features in our hands?
This could attract interest for Vita and Starhawk for sure!
People loved that little map integration with Pikim3, imagine with a game that the protagonist in the screen really have a tablet in his hands, and we could use it just like that!

This app dont need to bring everything in the first version, it could be implemented with updates.

And Im sure that this could work much better for Starhawk (with maps, build, etc) than with Uncharted 3 or Killzone 3.

@Guardian_Bob
Don't get me wrong, I agree the app itself isn't so awesome that it's a must have - unless it was a meatier companion app on the Vita taking advantage of theoretically better connectivity with the PS3 game.

It's actually quite interesting though to think about the ROI of an app like this - or how they even measure it. The app alone can't possibly drive sales of Starhawk, but perhaps it just helps to engage the community and keep it lively. I assume despite the free maps, there will be some paid DLC, which will sell better to an strong community.

But it still comes down to early life cycle games and apps for any system are most likely all losing some money since the install base is small. Sony needs to do the big (and little) things to nurture and grow the Vita. So unlike another publisher, Sony shouldn't be looking at the ROI of this little app on the Vita, but of the Vita itself! They need to show that the Vita has it's full support and a strong marketplace for $40 games as well as free/cheap apps.
