  • Morgan, can you tell me when the Youtube App and PS One classics will be coming to the PS Vita?

  • Tomba! is $9.99? Hm, didn’t expect it to be at that price point, gonna have to double think the purchase, definitely picking up the weekly “From a Different Sky” Dragon’s Dogma update though.

  • @ Anyone from Sony
I’m just holding off on a Vita purchase until it can fully replace my PSP, and play all the digital content I’ve bought for PSP. I know PS1 game support is coming, and that’s great. And even though the full PSP games I’ve bought mostly aren’t on the compatability list, I’m informed enough to know that I can still put games like Gran Turismo on Vita using PS3 anyway. So 1 to go.

Can word get to the people making Vita firmware updates, that something no one seems to mention, but alot of owners would like, is a link somewhere on the Vita to download a compatible/updated digital comic reader, and a tab on the Vita’s store to access the comic store?

I know no new comics are coming out but alot of people have still spent money on those comics, and would maybe even like to buy more……and those digital comics would look AMAZING on that OLED screen. Obviously alot easier to read, and touch controls would make it even better.

Just a personal request that would mean alot to me, and would mean the dif between me buying a Vita the day it’s announced or holding off for a price drop since it doesn’t play all my digital content. Thanks.

  • So PSN is down on the same day the store is suppose to be updated? lol

  • Morgan, we want Black (PS2)!!!!!

  • will modnation racers psp be on the vita store ever? it was one of my favorite games for my psp, and since it was free last year, it would make a lot of psp/vita owners happier.

  • I’m disappointed that Lego Batman 2 is different on the Vita but that isn’t PSNs fault…kudos to you all for getting the update out so early…big ups.

  • @14 It seems like Sony cares more about Japan and Europe since they get stuff we don’t I know we get stuff Europe doesn’t but Japan seems to get everything and more they like to play favorites idk why we don’t all get the same content since we’re all on PSN. If that’s the case then I think I might go back to Xbox where I won’t be missing out on content on they’re services because of where I live.

  • does anyone know if socom fireteam bravo 3 works on the vita? i want to download it on my ps3 then copy it to my vita but i dont want to buy it just to find out its not compatible i dont owm a psp so if anyone knows let me know please! :)

  • Any word on the Vita version of the Marvel Pinball set?
I was really hoping that that would launch alongside the ps3 version.

Also, if we buy the ps3 version will we have to then buy the vita version separately, or will it give us the game for both systems, like with Pinball Arcade?

  • @Morgan

I just wanted to give you my feedback for the new PS+. I know it’s only been a few weeks now, but here are my concerns. (hopefully my fears will prove false) The last 2 weeks have me very concerned for the future of the program. The way I understand it, new games will be rotated in slowly. I guess next month will show us a lot about how things are going to work, but the scenario I imagine is this: we get 2 or 3 new games sometime in the middle of next month replacing 2 or 3 games and the rest of the “instant game collection” stays. This will quickly become a worse deal than we were getting before if we don’t intermittently also receive weekly free minis, PSN games, and PS1/PS2 classics. Please consider passing along that even just free minis each week would make a big difference. Please assure me that the new PS+ isn’t going to be 2 new games every six weeks and nothing in between.

    • It’s good feedback and something we’re looking at closely. Although, to be fair, the overall number of free games is larger than it’s ever been before. Are you more all about PS one Classics, minis, etc? Or do you like to feel like every week there’s a new free game to look forward to?

  • @Tchanku (106) what do you mean “disappointed that Lego Batman 2 is different on the Vita”….?? PLEASE explain.

  • Store is updated now fully working enjoy thought let you people know :D.

  • Hey Morgan, can you let the PS Store team know that we’d like the Expiring Soon part of the PS+ section to be updated every week so we know when the Sly Cooper deals or Rock of Ages are being taken down? It’s disappointing as a PS+ subscriber to have content/deals taken down suddenly despite there being a place in the store that you guys are supposed to use to alert us to expiring content that we should grab before it’s gone.

    • i copied and pasted your comment into an email and sent it straight to them. I’ll also work at updating the Store Update post with what is leaving the Plus section at the end of that week as well.

  • @ 109 really you are complaining that there aren’t new games for plus members. I have been a plus member since day one, i ain’t complaining. They gave us 12 free games, 12 FREE GAMES, that has been more then any month ever. So i have no problem if we don’t get stuff or updates for free until the 1st week of July. Have a Nice day and Happy Gaming. PLAYSTATION! Ding!

  • ToKKeNbL00dMoNeY

Thanks Morgan Haro, great updated, kinda light but its pretty good, cant wait to see whats going to hit the store next week because its my birthday XD whata day for a birthday, tuesday, when the psn updates XD, thanks and agin and only 2 things i have to say…. first i dont mmind the lack of games on the vita for now cuz its still new but maybe some more demos would be nice like maybe ridge racer demo and mortal kombat, i know its hard because its the devs that have to make the demo and say ya go ahead, and also is the demo for escape plan fixed? im downloading it now but i was wondering cuz ive been trying since it came out and no luck :/ but anyway thanks for the update and thanks sony for giving us such amazing products :)

  • The instant game collection update for PS+ members were great, however it seems that we won’t have anything as great as that for a while in PS+… even the discounts are hard to find (I mean, finding NICE discounts for NICE games.) meh, gotta wait another week to see if there’s anything on the store for me (because these 3 games aren’t for me, RDR I can play on PC, same goes to Limbo, and AC Brotherhood I already own on Blu-Ray and its complete edition bundle was cheaper back on Ubisoft’s sale week)

  • @Foyboy I’m not complaining. I am providing my hopefully useful feedback. Again, 12 games at once is amazing, a few of them are great games, but it remains to be seen what the rest of their plan is. If the plan is now to rotate in 2 games every 6 weeks, that’s not as good as before in my opinion. It’s possible that 4 months from now half of the PS+ games are the same. All I’m saying is that I personally would intermittently still like some minis, PSN games, and classics. I’m just voicing my concern and I hope that the last 2 weeks is not setting a precedent.

  • Thanks, Morgan.

  • Great Update, just wish I had the room on my harddrive to download a few games since my 120 GB harddrive is full with the other great PS+ games we have. Is there going to be a solution to this problem for me without getting a new PS3 since I truly don’t have the money to pull it off.

  • Thinking of buying AC Brotherhood or Limbo. I hope it is’nt going to be like last month when you had Infamous 2 and Just Cause 2 on sale and then gave them away in plus a week later for free.

  • I agree with post 109 and 112 about psn+.
By the way, can you add more storage for psn+ maybe 200 meg ?? Need to delete a lot of stuff because not enough space. (some save file have 20-30 meg) Also will you offer for special for psn+ 2 year birthday ?

  • Hope PSN Store can have some repairs done to it soon that way it stops having problems every week. It sucks when there is new stuff in the store and the store crashing when you go to buy stuff!!!

  • First off, I’d really like to forward a HUGE HUGE thanks for the early update, it is so so appreciated, more than you ever think it is!

Secondly, I’d like to thank you all at Sony for bringing the Assasin’s Creed: Brotherhood PS Plus discount. I JUST finished AC II and I was waiting for a discount on Brotherhood, I can’t express how happy am I to see that 50% off for PS Plus; thanks a ton, although it would’ve been better if it was bundled with the DLC pack(s).

Any AC revelations discount coming? I’d buy that as soon as it hits the Store update, please make a bundle discount for Plus members. I would buy it instantly as I did with brotherhood today. keep the discounts coming, loving them all!

Can you please reply as to whether or not a discount on revelations (less than $40) is coming? I’d like to buy it within the 20-30$ range.

  • Are there plans to fix the escape plan demo for those that upgraded to 1.69? I’d like to try the game out before the $0.25 DLC deal goes away.

  • SLEEPLESS_KNIGHT

Where are the PS3 and Vita demos for Lego Batman 2? My kid downloaded a demo on his 3DS like 2 weeks ago! I had to download it on my 360 at lunchtime so I can try it out tonight, but I would’ve rather played it on my PS3 :(

  • as much as I like having the store updated with these goodies, I’m still waiting on whether or not the Vita will get PS1 compatibility. :/

  • @Morgan

Thanks for replying! I love everything from the AAA games down to minis. I found it awesome that we got games like Ratchet & Clank and Infamous 2 for free. But I also loved getting games like Plants vs Zombies and Velocity and Spyro, just as examples. I did like having something to look forward to every week. I’m not going to lie and say that seeing the update today and only seeing a few discounts for PS+ didn’t disappoint me.

I think the Instant Game Collection is a good idea. But I do like having a reason to look forward to an update each week, and a couple of minis and a ps1 classic or PSN game and a full game trial definitely fills that need. FWIW, this sounds like a perfect month of PS+: The Instant Game Collection rotates out 2 AAA games each month or 6 weeks. Each week we get at least a couple minis or a ps1 classic. And a PSN game each month like we enjoyed before.

    Thanks for listening!

  • What ever happen of getting free dlc with PS+, cause I show nuff never seen free dlc with PS+.

  • I’m truly disappointed in the majority of these comments, either whining about wanting a feature or complaining about a current one. Thanks Morgan for all the hard work you and the Playstation team have done, the 12 full games you have provided this month were AWESOME. I loved Playstation Plus before with the offers it gave to its users and the E3 announcement was added to my list of many reasons to why I will stay a Playstation Plus subscriber. I look forward to the surprises the Playstation team has for everybody!

  • and MiketheKing, you may have not been a subscriber at the time but right off the bat I remember the first Killzone 3 Dlc being free to PS plus subscribers. I’m sure there are more examples.

  • Perhaps someone can help me here and tell me exactly what are these changes to PSN that everyone keeps mentioning? I haven;t noticed a thing.

  • @118 You can buy a larger hard drive and install it, I mean, you can easily upgrade to 750GB your PS3… no need to buy another unit only to download games, just search for a “PS3 hdd swap tutorial” on google or PS Forums and you’ll find the complete how-to including the full HDD specs and the HDDs that won’t work so easily with the PS3 due to a new format system or something.

BTW My 320 GB HDD is running out of space too… only 149GB left and we’re approaching the end of the month, which means, more games to download on PS+ in July :P

  • Not sure if I should make this request here Morgan but could you let the team know the vita PS store should have a Screenshots video preview and comment section in the Vita PS Store. And if you find out anything on the PS One classics on Vita and the YouTube app please inform us.

  • Nice update – But I have two questions :
    1. Why are we lacking in the demo department?
    2. Is the version of RDR that’s on sale similar or different to the ultimate bundle version that was offered a while back?
I’m hesitant to actually buy the game since so many different offers for it keep popping up almost monthly.

  • I’m liking the Plus discount for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. I’m definitely thinking about buying that.

So far I’m pretty satisfied with PlayStation Plus. I just signed up this month because of the instant game collection. I wouldn’t mind if the free games were rotated monthly as long as they contain good titles like Infamous 2 and Ratchet and Clank. Besides, the game collection is going to keep me busy for the rest of the month. I don’t want my backlog to get even longer.

I would like to see good discounts every week though.

  • Any idea when you’re gonna have deals for Vita games (the non-PSP kind)? I’d honestly rather download Vita games, but there are always better deals for physical copies…

  • The Red Dead promotion is a joke. you can get the original game for $19.99 new retail. You can get the complete edition for $29.99. Sony try a little harder not to show the obvious rip off….

Also got Limbo for 2.99 on steam and for 9.99 Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood Deluxe Edition for PC. Why bother being a psn subscriber when you can’t even match deals?

  • instantnoodles88

What do you guys think of adding movies to playstation plus? Maybe a free rental every once in a while, or discounts on movie purchases.

  • @59, do some research, vita outsold psp last week and japan is expected to have a massive jump this week with the release of Persona 4…. Research before spewing garbage.

  • @instantnoodles
    I like that idea.

  • Probably going to grab powerstone for my vita, would like to see more price cuts and sales on older psp games to help the vita out.

  • Morgan, why do you continually IGNORE my comments about Europe Vita owners getting these amazing Vita sales and we US owners haven’t got anything?

  • i can’t buy games on playstation store i keep gettin an error

  • Since the PS Plus games have always been more of a monthly thing, anyway, just normally rolled out slower through the month, I actually like getting the big batch at the beginning of the month, then having all that time to sit back and enjoy them before the anxiety creeps up of wondering what’s next.

Thank you for all the hard work, guys. It’s appreciated :) And I’m LOVING the Avengers tables!

  • matt_123_caygeon

when i go to install Tomba nothing happens it just stays uninstalled HELP! I tryed deleting it and re downloading it with the same problem!

  • Should’nt the Two Worlds II dlc be cheaper since it is 30 dollars and the game plus dlc is 25?

  • No YouTube For My VITA?! Why? Why Do You Hate Me SONY?

  • Hey Morgan you should think about adding free movies or movie rentals to ps+ i would really consider getting it if you went beyond games. Also any way of knowing if we will get a dvr service like japan and europe. I use my ps3 as more of a one stop media hub watching movies, music, and viewing pictures. I would love to get over the air programming and be able to record these programs…so please respond if you feel like it.

  • OK people have to stop complaining about PlayStation Plus.. Here some of the points why:
    a. PlayStation Plus will get special Anniversary treatment (one of which I hope will be 15 months bundle as always in tradition :) )
    b. It`s going to be greater Anniversary then last year ( but best one yet ;)
    c. Lots of special content incoming just hold your horses ( current state just reminds me of last years 1 year I pull my eye s out with storm of content )
