Hey everyone! Last week, SuperBot Entertainment and PlayStation invited a small group of players to get a hands-on preview of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale as part of our early development beta. We’re beginning to test our servers and connectivity issues and this is just the beginning as we work toward rolling out a public beta to the entire PlayStation nation this Fall. As part of this exclusive access, players were able to take control of characters such as Kratos, Sweet Tooth, PaRappa the Rapper, Colonel Radec, Sly Cooper, and Fat Princess and battle in environments such as Dreamscape, Metropolis, Sandover Village, and Hades. The feedback we’re receiving from beta testers has been highly encouraging and valuable, helping us craft the best online multiplayer fighting experience possible.
In addition, there was an unexpected and unintended leak in our beta that allowed fans to be able to see some additional content. We’ve enjoyed reading all of the fan reaction and are thrilled that so many of you are excited to learn more about our character roster and level mash-ups, however we are still in development and the leaked content does not fully represent the final product nor the incredible efforts that were made to make these elements truly spectacular. This will be evident in the coming weeks as this content is officially revealed, beginning with our next character announcement at Gamescom in a couple of weeks.
While just a small group now, in the coming weeks we will continue to send out batches of codes as we gradually expand the beta; so keep your eyes open. You just might receive an invitation to join! Keep checking back with the blog for more information around the public beta, starting with early access to PlayStation Plus members.

This is awesome. Hope I get into the private beta! At least I’ll get + access when that opens. Also, I just want to say great job with 3rd party characters. But, pleeeeeeeaaaase try to get some Sqaure Enix characters in there! Sora and Riku, Cloud and Sephiroth, Tera and Kefka! Zidane and Steiner! You got some for LBP so hopefully this can happen!
Also, where the hell is ZEKE DUNBAR!? We’ve got good and(maybe) evil cole but no ZEKE Dunbar? The people need Zeke Dunbar! I wanna see Zeke vs Drake for the best one liners! 2 on 2 Cole and Zeke vs Drake and Sully! Make it happen lol
Has a bundle been announced for both the VIta and PS3 versions? That’s what I’m waiting for before I pre-order.
ok so i got a giveaway code and the one thing I really dislike is how Sly cant even really fight. Kratos is easily the best character in the beta without a doubt. Sneaking around with sly isn’t helping when the point is to build up my super meter. I was really hyped up to play sly but not anymore. Will there be any changes to his character?
I like the concept of the game. Its exciting and hype but will there be anything added to the beta?
@30 what about all those free games PS+ users got/get ? im pretty sure that was money well spent also the fact that plus users already get early access to many other betas and free discounts/games normal users barely get those offers and when we do get those offers you usally have to use real money to actually be good at it/get better items and you laready get early access to this so whats wrong with normal users getting those codes? not like plus members need it :/ besides that i hope i get a code :D

I love this game PSASBR!!! is going to be epicly awesome and can’t wait to put my hands on it when it comes out. I especially love all the characters SuperbotEnt already announced,and the classic stages pretty smooth and clear very fun to play in it. With the leak going on seeing Dante= As my DMC’s favorite animated swordsman, Crash Bandicoot= cool Classic adventure character ,and MGS Raiden= OMG epic awesomeness!!! ,and i can’t wait for more leaks to come by and see what other classic characters,and stages are going to be shown to us very pleased. Ialso want to get my hands on the beta code but im just patiently waiting for it to hit my email inbox ,and so be it for later on if i get it. fingers crossed,and share please thank you…
I really just wish to thank you Mr. Park and all the other members of SuperBot Entertainment for providing us Playstation fans such an amazing game. You guys honestly made a dream come true, and not just for me but for thousands of others as well.
I’m glad that you guys are starting up a Beta and giving people the opportunity to get a chance to play your game and help make it even better. It is nice to see the amount of effort and dedication you guys are putting into the game, and I’m sure everyone will be pleased with the final product.

Question – In the Online Multiplayer aspect of the game, will I have the option let’s say to 2v2 random people in the world with my friend/brother while we are on the same PS3?
Finally, I just wanted to mention how excited I am for this game. Personally I would love to get a Beta Code to help give you guys feedback, but wouldn’t really care that much if I didn’t get one either. I can wait till the game releases. In fact, i already have 2 copies pre-ordered. HYPED!!!
