  • People will absolutely love mercia. Its an awesome game with lots of rewards to earn. Any teasers to anything exciting that will be hitting Home in the next few weeks besides the Granzella stuff?

    • Lots of awesomesauce is scheduled, but I can’t share anything more at this time. Keep your bookmarks saved and checking back weekly!

  • Sooo, looking forward to the Loot EOD TV’s (I’m buying the bundle…lol) and that hot tub at the Casino looks pretty cool! Home just keeps getting better….and better!!!!!

    22” LOOT™ EOD TV – Flatscreen 3.99

  • The dream island looks very cool once again the winner for my money is LOCKWOOD. LOL

  • 1. Mercia: Fracture Realms
Time for a plausible Mercia & Granzella Shopping Spree!

    4. Heavy Water – Avalon Keep Peasant Pack
I’ll pass…. Those just make me feel poor….

    6. LOOT – Active EOD TVs
I’m afraid if I buy the Biggest TV a BIGGER one will come out…. Still want Biggest TV….

    7. Konami – Horse Masks
I should be happy more Anthro Masks are coming out. However being surrounded by Bronies is a little scary.

    10. Tuscan Villa Personal Space and Clubhouse
I’m going to pass on buy. I’ll explain right about now.

I’ll be changing how I shop on PS Home come October 25th 2012. Part of this is due to needing to save money for other stuff. Some months I’ll probably just spend $3.96 at most. I won’t stop supporting PS Home like I originally planned by March 2013. But will still complain about VM’s NML until they stop messing with my head.

  • I’m liking those speakers and dance floor decorations in the background of the street moves videos..

  • Nice Update! Lots of stuff to buy :D w00t

Now…. Shut up! and take my money! >:D

  • looks like i might be getting back into home

  • Im sorry but after No Mans Land my expectations or Mercia are LOW.. I was expecting a REAL game.. instead all I got was a game you had limited control over (i.e you couldnt manually move from position to position instead you clicked on the point you wanted to go to and your character ran there and took cover automatically).. so yeah Im expected Mercia to be no different unfortunately.

    • Mercia doesn’t use a cover-based movement system (which I personally like), so go for it! It’s free-to-play too, and nothing to lose. Plus the Oracle needs your help!

  • Question is it ghost winning the prizes for the midway thing….

  • I have a question. If I buy the Loot EOD TV and put it in my clubhouse, would friends be able to watch movies in the clubhouse, even if I am not online?

    • That’s a good question. Lemme check on that and get back to you. I’ll update this with a 2nd comment once I have the answer.

  • Why thursday this week instead of wednesday? Loot TV looks awesome and I can’t wait for Mercia to come this week lol. No wolves costume, companion and/or mask?? hahahahahaha!!!!!

    • Home is a global publish and this week one of the regions has a holiday that gets in the way. So we bump it a day and accomodate our buddies on the other side of an ocean.

If you want more animal masks, speak up about it in our forums and maybe Konami will hear you!

  • “Don’t worry , the mini fountain and sparkler reward have not been retired.”

The mini fountain was already retired. So dat mean it’s coming back?

  • Just the stylish suits. While EU gets that new beach. If it wern’t for Mercia, that’d make this update feel VERY underwhelming. But Mercia’s present. :3

    • Glad this (heavy) week will suffice! Don’t worry, there’s a tidal wave of Granzella stuff scheduled to arrive in the near future.

  • not gonna go back to pshome until my avatar its shown next to my gamercard….

  • According to Granzella, the fossil museum was supposed to come “late august” so I figured I’d check the blog after a month, but nothing! This is why I have all but quit home entirely. If we got weekly GZ content like EU, I’d have spent hundreds by now. No GZ=no $ from me, unless it’s something huge worth even going on home for.

Since WHOEVER is in charge of releasing GZ items in NA has so “GRACIOUSLY” decided to allow NA the “privilege” of buying GZ items, I think I will buy 2 of the womens suits when I get around to logging on.

Dream Island may be nice, but an open house with no option to purchase annoys me to no end. I guess you guys think it builds “hype”, but for people like me with 0 patience, it takes so long to come out I lose interest and don’t buy it when it does!

A THURSDAY update? I don’t feel like waiting, so I may spend my money elsewhere. It’s due to some BS EU holiday (NA holidays are BS too), so of course all regions have to suffer. Can’t do something sense making like having each region update separately? You guys keep letting EU run the show, and you will continue alienating ex-mega-spenders in NA like me. See you in a month (or longer) when/if the fossil museum and Island expansion comes!

    • Ah, but this week the Dream Island will be purchasable by everyone directly in the open house. Come check it out! As for Granzella stuff, unfortunately the original announcement by them is incorrect, but it’ll be out *very* soon. (Pinky swear promise!)

  • umm its an RPG of course it doesnt used a cover system.. the point I was making is most of the game is “click here and your character runs there on its own and do everything FOR you” I want a game that i completely control… for example If I want to get from Point A to Point B I want to Physically walk from A to B instead of just Clicking on B (or pressing once in Bs direction) then my character walks there on its own.

  • When will there be a space for PS+ members only? I think that would bring more people to PS+. Specially the people who live in Home.

  • @20 not gonna happen since thats pretty much what that Club 7 thing is..

  • Why would anybody buy this stuff. When you can get a big screen with a better EOD that has music as well and an entire personal space for less?

    @ TRIAD individually they are…..

    THE TVs:
240” LOOT™ EOD TV – Flatscreen (comes with matching stand) 11.99
    140” LOOT™ EOD TV – Flatscreen 7.99
    80” LOOT™ EOD TV – Flatscreen 6.99
    60” LOOT™ EOD TV – Flatscreen 5.99
    40” LOOT™ EOD TV – Flatscreen 4.99
    22” LOOT™ EOD TV – Flatscreen 3.99

    • More options, I suppose. Personally, I would love to have a big screen in my Chamber apartment or my Ratchet & Clank personal space.

  • When’s the Home Tycoon game coming out?

  • I’m personally looking forward to this update… only question I have about the RPG game is, is it a trade off of attack? Like you attack they attack you miss they attack twice etc. OR is it press say square and your guy freely moves and slashes. Either way I’ll play just wondering I’d prefer the later but still I’ll try.

    • It’s not a turn-based combat (taking turns), so don’t let yourself get cornered or ganged up on! You can swing your sword or cast as fast as you can.

  • FINALLY a Home game with XP POINTS!!!!! well done guys how to think that :)
I mean i m a huge Home fun for the first day and i never disappoint all this years until when i saw games like mini robots and No mans land.
Those two games is PAY TO WIN! why i pay something to has only one stage and no xp point ? is boring and the best think about it, is a new map for No mans land and tell you to pay it 2$!!! Again, why i pay 2$ for a map i don’t know if they has players to play with it? i feel developers for those games fool us!!! Look the aurora place has a thousand gamer visit every day because there a something to do there! Win xp points level up and win staff for your apartment and your avatar!
Never again makes PAY TO WIN Games for Home if you want keep people inside ps Home!

  • I’ve been beta testing Mercia for a couple months now. And I can tell the doubters and naysayers that the game is great! If you’re a RPG fan then you’ll definitely wanna play Mercia. Its a very fun do as you want RPG.

  • Why is this free to play rpg being wasted on the PS Home where most users don’t go? Why not also put it properly on the psn store where everyone can try it?
This makes me think it isn’t good enough for that.

  • Mercia is the best thing to happen to PlayStation Home since sliceed bread. And thats the bottom line because Lord_Rinja said so.

  • @ Ryumoau Because is a game especially for Home. You never visit Home to see how those games works? They use your avatar in real time to play, is really cool games like that, play with your favourite avatar! They has change a lot tnings for the first day when Home cames out, you must check it. Now home has a lot tnings to do there a really awesome games for free and many people visit Home every day, except Sony continue to fool us with games like no mans land, a pay to win game, pay do nothing, really annoying!!

  • @29 oh okay. i haven’t tried Home in years so i might check it again today.

  • Nice stuff for home. But after today i refuse to spend another cent on Playstation Home till Sony does something about the freezers. I’ve been frozen 7 times today in 3 different places. Its pathetic anymore. Sony needs to bann freezers on the spot and ther ip permanently banned and there avi & id name left on the spot for a month.

  • Why are these games released only on Home and not PlayStation Store?

  • Mercia has caught my eye, looking forward to checking it out.

I can imagine that eventually, HOME as a service in the future, could start to deliver PS1/PS2 quality games. This makes me think how awesome a champions of norrath game would be great for HOME.

    On a side note.

Any chance of having a sequel to Everquest Online Adventures for Playstation/PC w/VITA companion app?

  • finally a good update.. cant wait to see the new dream island

  • ..lawl’ing @ the Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace style Street Moves.

  • I’ve never used Home now might be the time to check it out and maybe give Mercia: Fractured Realms a chance.
