BioShock — BioShock is a narrative-driven action experience that allows players to do the impossible as they journey through an amazing, immersive and terrifying world. Caught between powerful forces and hunted down by genetically mutated citizens, the player will come to grips with the mysterious and fascinating world of Rapture, a distinct Art Deco underwater utopia gone mad. BioShock not only challenges the players’ capacity to adapt and survive, but brings to question their values and commitment to the inhabitants of Rapture. With smart and adaptive AI, no encounter ever plays out the same, while numerous customization options provide gamers with an experience that adapts to their playing style.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 — Co-developed by Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games, Modern Warfare 3 delivers a full assault on gamers’ senses, including an intense single-player campaign that picks up immediately following the events of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and escalates into World War 3, as well as groundbreaking upgrades to the beloved Special Ops like the all-new Survival Mode. Special Ops serves as the perfect springboard to Modern Warfare 3’s re-imagined multiplayer, featuring the series’ trademark visceral gun-on-gun combat, a revamped pointstreak system with the introduction of “Strike Packages,” devastating new modes like “Kill Confirmed” and other gameplay enhancements, new features and a bevy of new weapons, equipment, and perks.

The House of the Dead: Overkill Extended Cut — It’s survival horror as it’s never been seen before! The House of the Dead: Overkill is a pulp-style take on the classic SEGA light-gun shooter series. The game takes place as Special Agent G — the hero of The House Of The Dead series — is given his first assignment fresh out

of the AMS academy. Teamed up with hard-boiled Detective Washington, they are sent to investigate stories of mysterious disappearances in small-town Louisiana. Little do they know what blood-soaked mutant depravity awaits them in the streets and swamps of Bayou City…

The Extended Cut of The House of the Dead: Overkill presents the game for the first time in full HD with 3D support and PlayStation Move compatibility on the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. With all seven stages of the original re-mastered and two brand new scenarios added to this gruesome shooter, the ‘baddest’ just got bigger!

Zen Pinball 2 (Also on PS Vita) — The sequel to the popular pinball game by Zen Studios, Zen Pinball 2 features an abundance of exciting new features and updates, making it the premiere pinball platform on PS3 and PS Vita.

Suzuki TT Superbikes: Real Road Racing Championship — Suzuki TT Superbikes features more than 50 vehicles from all over the world, and includes the world famous 37.73 mile Isle of Mann racetrack. For the highest level of realism possible, the course itself has been mapped using data supplied by the government and data captured by the development team. In addition to the traditional racing, the game also features a “Mad Sunday” mode that brings riders from all over the world to test their chops on the mountain. Supplementary modes, such as two-player split-screen and sidecar multiplayer are also included, as are bikes from all classes — from 125cc all the way to the F1 1000ccs!

  • Anyone know if it was confirmed that the PS Vita version of Phantasy Star Online 2 getting a NA release? I wanted to get PSP2 on vita but cannot buy it now, so ive been hoping, and sega announced the pso2 NA release coming next year but nothing on PS Vita

  • I love all my Zen Pinball tables including all the Marvel tables…looking forward to Zen Pinball 2!!!!

  • Will Zen Pinball 2 have Cross Buy? I might get it if it has that feature. :3

  • still no update for ps1 classics for vita

  • Have been waiting for a Rainbow Moon demo, thanks.

  • Unfortunately, I don’t see myself spending money on the store anytime in the near future. I’m still waiting for an issue with one of my purchases to be resolved, but I know it never will be because nobody at Sony cares to look into it/fix it. Too bad….I may have picked up HotD: Overkill if the price was decent.

  • Can’t wait to pay $20 for an old game like Bioshock!

    Just kidding.

  • @56 It’s not even just cross-buy. The game is free for both systems, but comes with only demos for tables, unless you own tables in Zen Pinball 1 or Marvel Pinball. Then you buy the specific tables you want, and it unlocks in both versions.

  • Where’s the public sly cooper: thieves in time demo?

  • Bioshock finally for download? I’ve been waiting on this for way too long now. This and free Borderlands should make for a fun-filled week.

  • @38: How is Zen Pinball 2 not new? :/

  • Since Bioshock is such a huge part of PlayStation history you’d think that it would have been up on PSN already.

    *eye roll*

  • @4, All (or at least most) of the PS One titles work on Vita if you copy them over from a PS3. Got Legend of Dragoon, all Silent Hill titles, and all Final Fantasy titles on my Vita. No need to wait for them to update each week. :)

  • i couldnt agree more with #25 you guys really should get more well known PS2 and PS1 titles on here instead of these other games no one has ever heard of that being said this is a pretty lame update i was expecting more then this heres hoping next week is better :)

  • Bioshock was available in EU PSN for ages/

  • nothing good. at least im getting sleeping dogs

  • bout time the first Bioshock gets released on psn

  • Lol Weak Week Try Saying That 3 Times but they did say good stuff would come THIS Month so im holding them to That

  • ZP2 for sure, hopefully PS+ discount on Bioshock or HotD: Overkill… Either way ain’t too shabby.

  • I don’t mean to be ungrateful, but usually the list of new content on the PlaystationStore is longer.
I guess my real comment is: “that’s it?”…

  • @17 I got it 3 times for PS2. The 3rd copy I got rid of. Now, I’m hunting down the 360 version and debating whether to get the disc or download.
Could you imagine Burnout Revenge for PS3 in HD with trophies same as the Xbox 360 version? 360 gets 10 exclusive crash events and DLC vehicles.

  • @Teflon02 (54) right now the only way you can play phantasy star portable 2 is via the umd. not sure why they took it off but looks like it will never be put back onto the psn store. i think you can get it for about $20 new or used. go for new i think you wouldn’t be able to play online with the used one. other then that just wait for phantasy star online 2 and hope that it comes here to NA.

  • Please add Metal Gear Solid portable ops and portable ops + as well as peasewalker for vita I own portable ops for psp this would be a great drop for metal gear fans everywhere so some ofus can complete the series

  • Is BioSock going to be FREE for Playstation Plus?

  • PEOPLE WHO ARE WAITING FOR THE NEXT WAVE OF PSONE CLASSICS ON VITA. You do know you can transfer them from your PS3 right!? So far all of my PSOne games have been compatible on the vita, and if you don’t own a PS3 I guess you’ll just have to wait.

  • We need more apps for the PS3 and Vita, I’ve got tons of apps on my Xbox360, and it would be nice to have them or other type of apps on my PS3, even if I won’t use most of them it’s nice to see some support.

  • @79
Even so… there’s still a good number of games that are incompatible with the PS Vita. The Spyro trilogy is completely incompatible for example.

  • @ 54 + Teflon02:

Sega announced that Phantasy Star Online 2 will be coming to the Vita, so yes. Although, it’s been all “hush-hush” for a while now.

If you meant the portable version, I think someone else answered your question already.

  • Will be getting House of the Dead Overkill if its priced right.

  • you can download any PS1 game on the ps3 (without installing the game), transfer it to the psvita.

  • not everyone can buy a vita so i care less for the vita updates. pinball games get old fast. im looking to play borderlands for the 2cd time. and if its true about a demo for RE6 then ill definitly be playing that.

  • When is New Little King’s Story going to be released on Vita in USA? It is supposed to be released in the 3rd quarter but haven’ t heard one word about the game. Really want this game.

  • @59 What was the exact “Issue” you had when purchasing some thing digital? That is if you don’t mind answering on psn blog.

  • finally mw3 coming to psn store i just hope mw3 cost 49 dollar

  • ehh nothing worthwhile :\

  • What’s up with these people? When they get a game they want, they praise sony. When they don’t, they cry ” they don’t care about us, or the portable. They’re too slow, e.t.c.”!!!

  • fantastic that Zen 2 is finally landing ! the P vs. Z table looks nifty – can hardly wait to see it on the big screen … love the pay once get it on both platforms …. wonder if there will be a plus discount for it ? are the + perks set to launch on the Vita this month? will be excited to see what they do with that …. have to snag a PSN card today.

  • Any news on a Peace Walker price drop? Been about 6 months since I started posting here and still no news on Portable Ops on Vita or Peace Walker.

Please give us some news soon. I REALLY need my MGS fix on Vita!

  • Bioshock ranked #3 in G4TV’s recent Top 100 Video Games of All-Time. I hope the digital edition introduces more people to this truly classic masterpiece of a game. I also hope that this finally brings us a sale price on the Bioshock DLC. I’ve been checking every week for the past three years and have never seen it on sale, though I’ve seen Bioshock 2’s DLC go on sale multiple times.

  • Dont forget BioShock 1 is supposed to come free with BioShock Infinite. This gives me the same vibe i got when I bought Just Cause Ultimate game collection on Sony’s big sale only to have it as a free PS Plus title the next week. You know the big corporation is going to make you feel like a sucker vibe.

  • hey great week 4 us ps+ members cant wait 4 this week and next week also gret month playstation is doing a great job! any 1 know about gta3! we need to know! thanks!

  • hey also cant wait for the football this week the app is back ! cant wait NFL SUNDAY TICKET! cant wait! yes!! thanks playstaion!

  • Maximo vs The Army of Zin and Medievil 2 for download please!

  • The House of the Dead: Overkill is such an amazing game. Makes me wish I had a Move so I could properly finish it.

  • aaaaaaaand this is why im pissed off that only the ps+ people get the dust 514 beta. they flip out over a PINBALL GAME COMING OUT! obviously the wrong crowd to pitch an fps too. come on the real dust fans are waiting for the beta, CCP isnt going to get any vaild info for balancing out of pinball players >_>————-

  • I can safely assume Zen Pinball 2 at least has Cross Buy, Cross Saves and Cross Play right?
