  • Yeah you don’t want to not have a digital pre-order option for Borderlands 2 in NA at the same exact time that the PC version can be had for $36 with the Premiere Club goodies.

Missed the boat on that one PSN (NA).*shrug*

  • always wanted to play Scott Pilgrim.. loved the movie and thought the game looked fun.. i guess nows the time, huh?

i’m curious… who’s the drunken monkey in charge of deciding what a PS1 classic is?!! those titles mostly sound like the ones you find in the bargain bin at Walmart, not actual classics.. i thought classic was supposed to elicit memories of grandeur.. like a classic movie such as Wizard of Oz, Gone With the Wind, or Christmas Story… i’m baffled….

  • How about the Crackle App for the U.S.? Canada got it last time, when is our turn?

  • Hey, this isn’t a complaint, just a request…

As far as PSone games I can’t get on the Vita store or transfer from my PS3, I would love to get Chrono Cross and Legend of Mana on my Vita. I don’t own them now, but I’ll pick them both up the week they are available.

  • Also on vita requests, I own a Vita and I’m patiently waiting for a sale on Vita titles before I pick them up. In the meantime I’m enjoying PSone classics.

  • You can get Max Payne 3 from Best Buy for $30 if you part of the Gamer’s Club or $35 at Amazon or Target, yet you guys have a “special” price for PS+ members of $40.49. and that’s for digital, which should be cheaper than a physical copy. lolololololololololololololololol almost as funny as Modern Warfare 3 listed at $60 last week.

  • Also I have to say the North American branch of Sony is a joke compared to the European branch. You guys need to get your act together fast. I honestly think everyone at SCEA deserves to be fired and bring over some leadership from SCEE, who seem to being a great job over there and actually care about their customers.

  • thanks for the reply ……. so I went back to last weeks update post to see how I became confused & found this for the week of the 4th …. guess it explains my confusion .

“•World Peace Day Costume ($0.00) – This month will see the return of World Peace Day. To commemorate the occasion, we will be re-releasing our World Peace Day Costume onto the PlayStation Store next week. The World Peace Costume will be free and will only be available for one week, so don’t delay in picking it up!”

I missed it altogether b/c of the update post here ….. this is pasted from your update post. can the World Peace day costume be purchased ? I really wanted it. that’s why I went to PSN today to download it.

  • why we do not have the 25% discount on the annual subscription for ps plus?
    ¡please answer!

  • Scott Pilgrim! Sweet, something new to enjoy with my little nephew instead of those rated “M” games we keep getting!

  • @160 Don’t expect a answer from Morgan. He only answer to fan-boy not complainer or peoples who see something in EU and want to see if it will come in US.

(my guest, no 25% discount for NA, will never happen. Psn+ US is manage by aliens robots who have no clue what peoples wants)

    • if you put my replies under the scope, you’ll see i actually respond to more critical comments than praising ones. If I can ever shed light on a subject, I always will. However on this note, there’s not much to announce, because, well..nothing’s been announced on that front =) But usually, if I can’t answer a question or comment, it means that there’s no news on that subject.

  • Yay, YouTube! I was waiting for this to come to Canada! ^_^

  • Who else is getting Jet Set radio on the 360? I think the 1 dollar off is a joke for plus members.

    • if you’re cool with waiting a week, and paying that extra $, to each their own! =) Sure 10% isn’t a bank busting deal; but to have the timed exclusive and get it at the cheapest possible price?…not seeing the math add up to go to the other guys.

  • Still no demo of Darksiders 2 or am i just mising it. I keep cheeking.

  • La Pucelle: Tactics and Jet Set Radio!!!!!!

can’t wait for Tekken Tag 2 as well ^^

  • Deffo picking up Jet Set, La Pucelle, and that adventure game – the name of which escapes me. But yeah, that one!

  • @151, go download and play Zen Pinball on it. That Vita game was released just LAST WEEK…….SMH

  • Thanks for YouTube! Really appreciate it!

  • I was interested in Max Payne till I saw the trophy list ¬_¬

  • Regarding the argument over pricing for downloadable AAA titles, well, this is just a theory so correct me if I’m wrong, but I think the reason downloadable prices aren’t lower than discs at retail is because none of the major publishers have shifted their focus to solely download only just yet. They still have all those packaging, pressing, printing, storing and shipping costs to deal with, which obviously need to be paid for. Perhaps in the future when all major publishers completely switch to offering their products through a digital storefront, and all those processing costs are done away with, then prices will be lower. Right?

  • @160: I was also wondering that!! I want a discount in order to (re) subscribe. If not not I will just wait till march 2013 to re-subscribe.

Come one Sony you need the money now, give me an incentive and I will give it to you XD

  • Any release date for the next DLC pack for The Pinball Arcade. These tables were mentioned in a software update recently, but these tables didn’t actually show up.

Also, I’m sad about the support PS Vita has been getting lately. Most weeks recently, there have been no actual new games added. It’s a shame Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and Double Dragon Neon are not on the PS Vita store. :(

I have no intentions of getting a PS3 or a home console system because I want to play games on the go.

  • DivineAlpha,

From what I’ve heard, Black Knight and Creature From The Black Lagoon (Pack #5) will be coming next Tuesday (9/18)!

  • Yo homies at Sony is any of the soulcalibur games coming out on the ps store because getting them on disc sucks

  • Oops sorry, meant to say Pack #4…

  • Dear Morgan,

When is/are Socom 1-ca hd remake coming to the psn?

    Yours Truly,
a homicidal fanatic in need of his fix

    haha jk

    maybe

  • Do SCE guys know when the online patch of Double Dragon Neon will be released?

As a non-PS+ member, I was so planning to buy it on day 1 because they did promise that the online co-op would be available with the release.

But now, I’m afraid that I’m gonna have to wait until the patch gets released because I don’t want to buy the game now and then a few months later, they announce that they decide to cancel the online patch plan.

  • Bring a hockey game to the Vita!! Anything and more PSone classics on PSN. Good drop though!!

  • #164 don’t swear on hear you said 360. oops

  • Can someone answer this for me…why does the PlayStation lags in releasing disc games as games on demand? Xbox usually re-release street fighter games that was on disc about 6-9 months later. They just released Street Fighter x Tekken. However, the PlayStation did not. The PlayStation re-release Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition over a year behind the Xbox. Can someone explain this to me? Thanks.

  • Wow i am so excited, after getting nothing last week for ps1 support for vita, I NOW HAVE 3 FISHING GAMES TO CHOOSE FROM YIPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
    /endsarcasm

  • Heck YEAH THUMBS UP SONY! These are great titles for PSN Plus, cant wait to download them. I still hope later in the future you give Call Of Duty titles free for PSN Plus members. I hope to hear what you have in store for us soon. Hey how old do you have to be to work in your field of work, I go to an early college high school and i can get my associates degree in the 4 years I attend. Please give me feedback! n__n

  • Could you please tell us which games will be rotated out from the IGC?

Also, as a feedback, it would be great if we have this type of information on each update, one week early.

    ts!

  • So, let me get this straight, PS+ EU gets Dead Space 2 (Full Game), Deus Ex HR (Full Game), Motorstorm Apocalypse (Full Game), Darksiders 1 (Full Game), Red dead Redemption (Full Game), Oddworld Stranger’s Wrath and Machinarium (at the end on the month), on top of everything we got on PS+ US too.

So their collection got 8 NEW full games and we got borderlands and a bunch of PSN games (not good ones, except maybe Outland). Oh and they got Retro/Grade free too, while we have to pay for it.
I’m not counting those 2 episodes of Walking Dead because that was obviously a rip-off, giving plus subscribers only 2 episodes of an 5 episode story. Right, see what you did there sony….

Really guys, give me back my money or give me a reason to stay, Europe got 8 new reasons and counting. I’m tired of being dissapointed…

  • It’s pretty much the end of summer, and we still have craptastic PSOne support on the Vita. Don’t promise things you have no chance of making good on. You’ll never compete with the other guys at this rate…

  • As others have stated, it would be lovely if the Scott Pilgrim game could make its way to the Vita. I’d kill to be able to play it on-the-go.

  • Hello all, hi Morgan and Grace!

It’s great that Sony is following up on PS1 Classics for Vita, but will Sony continue to make more PSP games from PSN available as well? I don’t have a PS3 to transfer games, and there are still some PSP games on PSN I’d love on Vita, in particular Capcom’s Classic Collections and the Sega Genesis Collection.

  • Ok,so my first question is:
Can i go to my cousins PS3
And buy the Psone i want and
    Then added to my Psvita?

2.Iam glad there are more Psone games
On he Psvita store, thank u now the down
Side is why of so many awesome games on
The Psone we get the crappy ones,ok maybe
U guys need help so i will help u.

    Castlevania:Sotn
    Resident evil 1.2.3
    Dino Crisis 1.2
    Final fantasy 8.9
    Cash bandicoot series
    Valkyrie profile
    Breah of fire 3.4
    Megaman X series
    Mortal kombat triology
    Lunar silver star story complete

And these are only some of the
Best games the Playstation 1 had
And u give us the games that no one
Wants is so stupid i have laugh hahahaha XD
do way better next time please the games are
    Just plain trash.

    Spyro series

  • If i purchase Jet Set Radio now, will i be eligible to download the Vita version free when it releases? Please answer!

  • P.S. I have a PS PLUS voucher and I want to know if i should redeem it right now or not :)

  • Uh… where’s GTA III?

  • @185
You’re paying $50/year for 45 games. Stop whining. Comparing us to EU doesn’t make the deal we get worse.

  • @LIGHTNING_FEAR: No it isn’t stupid to compare. If digital dist became the standard for Sony consoles and they continued the poor pricing and poor updates to pricing people would just choose Steam over it. The plunge for a PC that can run games at the same quality and better than PS3 isn’t as expensive as you think. In fact in many ways it’s cheaper and you’ll save tons of money on games since the same games are much cheaper on PC.

I personally prefer the consoles myself, but don’t think for a moment that I wouldn’t abandon it if they didn’t get their act together and many would do just the same. That being said it is quite relevant to compare them.

  • Great update! Really glad to see La Pucelle: Tactics added.

Will Okami HD be coming next week? I know I read somewhere Q3, so it has to be REALLY soon, yea?

    Thanks!

  • I’m happy to see La Pucelle on the store. I rented this a long time ago, and I always meant to buy it but never did. I’m actually glad I didn’t because Amazon is still selling it for $45. $10 is a much more attractive price. I don’t normally request PS2 games, but I can think of three: Ys: The Ark of Napishtim, the Mega Man Anniversary Collection, and Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King. Don’t know if those are a possibility or not, but I would love to see them.

  • Good update, but I really really REALLY hope you guys are very well aware of how often the YouTube app on the PS3 crashes. It freezes and crashes so often that, to a lot of us, it’s unusable right now. I really can’t watch a single video on the thing without it freezing on me. It needs to get updated ASAP. This is YouTube we’re talking about; one of the most popular sites on the internet. I’m really surprised you guys gave it the green light for it to be released in its current state.

  • If I buy Jet Set Radio for the PS3, will it be free when the Vita version comes out or will I have to buy that version separate?

  • Is pretty much every PS1 classic functional on PS Vita if you transfer it through Content Manager? I’ve moved MGS, Silent Hill, Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver, Castlevania & Resident Evil 1,2, & 3 with no problem. The only stuff I don’t see transferable for sure are the Crash Bandicoot titles. Filling up my 32 GB card :)

So Vita users with a PS3, you should try it. Way more than is available on the Vita store front is compatible, it just isn’t all listed yet.

  • Does teh Scott Pilgrim VS. The World for Pplus also Include the Online multiplayer and the “Knives Chau” DLC? I already bought this game a while back but I might as well re-download again through Plus if it has the updates…

Also does the Jet Set Radio include the soundtrack?
