I prefer the PS3 Slim design so I ‘ll guess I’ll be sticking with it. Just doesn’t seem worth it.

Yay! Back to the days of scratched discs from poorly designed top loaders. I remember when the PS1 was called ‘the shredder’. I don’t think Sony is heading in the right direction. Everyone knows why they’re 3rd in the console rankings except them. Maybe you should employ a gamer like me as head of your N. America division. I’ll show you what needs to be done and what cuts not to make. At least this design makes cleaning the laser lens easier without spending $150 to fix all these disc read errors. But seriously, I’m not impressed. There’s no mention of you addressing the cooling problems from the last slim. Is it even worse now with a smaller fan? Or was that removed to?

IT’S SO COOL! Too bad I got my PS3 last Christmas. I like my PS3 anyway. I got the PS3 slim. What is this design called though? PS3 Vortex. <—- epic name right there!

IDK, it’s not entirely horrible to look at. I think that’s because we care so use to the Play Statons having a flat smooth surface. The only groves you would see are on the sides/front of the PS2. Two of my previous Playstations have eaten my disc and refused to spit them out when the system crapped out, so I don’t find this as a bad idea. Even though the loader seems more prone to break, I might as well get this one. My 320GB Uncharted 3 bundle I bought last year jst crapped out on me with a sytem restoration problem, so I might as well pick up this one.

Ok I just bought the new super slim 500GB now so the real storage space is 465GB when i checked the my free space ive noticed to have only 425GB now i didnt install any games neither did i transfer files to my ps3 so where did 40GB of space go to huh? Is there someone who can give me some explaination on this phenomenon XD.

i think that the new ps3 looks great & the flawless Design is a great improvement, i just cant believe it can hold 500GB that is a major upgrade for something that just got a 20% weigh decrease.
