The biggest full game releases this week are FIFA Soccer 13, which is available on PS3, PS Vita and PSP, Dead or Alive 5 and the digital version of LittleBigPlanet PS Vita. Starhawk and Mirror’s Edge round out the full game releases this week, and a couple of those classic collection bundles (namely Ratchet and Clank and inFamous) are hitting the store as well.
The PlayStation Store is offering a Day One Digital promotion for some of the hottest upcoming titles. Hey Morgan & Team – Just noticed that my Infamous & LBP isn’t showing up in my download list anymore. These were 2 of the Welcome Back games I chose last year after the PSN outage. We wanted to dive back into Infamous & discovered it’s gone, but the Store would sell it to me again for $40. Then I checked my downloads list and scrolled through the over 900 items (really need some kind of sorting/searching there!) to discover both it & LBP are not on the list now. What happened? We were supposed to be able to keep those games forever. My Plus account has never lapsed either. Help?

Day1Fail ! Why is NBA 2k13 limited to one account? First it was cut down from five accounts, now if purchased it can not be played on another account or system. Can someone explain the reasoning with singling out this game. Sometimes I dont know its like one step forward two back with Sony. Can I just get a response.
Peace

You know what my problem with people like you are? Stupidity. None of what you posted had anything to do with what I posted.
“Its fair pricing day 1 man.”
It’s not fair pricing if I can import the UK version for a cheaper price than the USA Digital copy. It’s not fair if there is no physical copy in USA to drive up costs and production. The game should’ve been $29.99.

And im sorry nobody wants themes for preorders just a level playing field with bonuses if you were to purchase early. Also in general a better option to display your personality would be animated avatars packs to showoff over themes . Come on get it done.

Hey there, just a heads up that there is no English version of FIFA Soccer 13 [PSP] on the PSN store in Canada. Is the version marked as “FIFA Soccer 13 PSP French” bilingual?

When I preorder the physical copy at Bestbuy, which I already have for the games I want on that list, I get 800 Reward Zone points which is equivalent to $10… And I don’t pay $50 a year to shop at Bestbuy… And I’m not using up valuable storage on my PS3… And I can sell it back once I’m finished with it… Kinda disappointed with the full game preorder program they have right now :P

@172 I’ve heard now 3 people say it worked doing it this way now, but you can’t? Keep trying to download it. Maybe its only working some of the time? Or maybe they just fixed it so people can’t do that? I’m pretty sure the others were NA accounts too.

This Blog really needs a way to “Like” or vote on user comments and replying to other comments would be helpful too.
I was wondering why we are seeing less and less video previews on PSN games. I found them helpful. Now they are all being replaced by low resolution and highly compressed jpg pictures that give you no idea what the game is like in motion. “No sir…I don’t like it.”
Also, why can’t we use the 3D option on the YouTube app? I just bought a PlayStation 3D Display and was really surprised to see this feature missing from YouTube when both YouTube and Sony are pushing 3D content. Does this make sense to anyone?!

@172 I can confirm that FF3 works on the Vita. I bought it on my ps3 did not install it on my ps3, just bought it. Then I went to my vita, went to the store, went to my download list and it was there right at the top, downloaded and its playing right now. Therefore, it does work.

I know it’s not completely the same with all the souped up enhancements and whatnot, but FF Origins is available on PSN for PSP and has both FF I and II in it. Cheaper than the other two separately too, I think.

The person who claimed they purchased FFIII on a PS3 and downloaded to their Vita from the Download List is a troll, sad to say. It doesn’t work and I’m now out twenty bucks for being naive. It says Cannot Be Downloaded From A PS Vita System same as every other PSP only title.
Sony, this is garbage. Not only are you apparently done releasing Classics, you have the nerve to offer a PSP game that won’t work for Vita as if to rub our noses in it.

My favorite part is how you released each Ratchet & Clank game for digital download at $14.99 each when the retail Ratchet & Clank Collection disc came out at $29.99, and then waited a month to release the digital Ratchet & Clank Collection at $29.99.
People do notice this stuff, Sony, and they don’t think well of it or you when they see it.

Hello PS Blog,
Is there any news on more PSP compatibility for the Vita? Or have all of the games from PSP’s catalogue that will be added already become playable?
I appreciate any news you can give on the matter.

What an outstanding update! There are so many things that I would like to purchase there! Great to see a Square-Enix game for PSP showing up, hope I can someday have KH Birth By Sleep and Crisis Core there as well. It is a shame that some of the best PSP games were never released in digital form. It seems like a missed opportunity there, as they could now find new buyers on the PS Vita. I’d get several PSP games if only they were made available. Keep up the good work guys!

I been trying so hard to find a reason to keep my Vita. Terrible update. I love FIFA but that is not something, I want if I will be getting it for my PC. Don’t care for little big planet. I sold my PS Vita I bought at launch a few months ago and last week got another Vita since I missed it. Yet I so want to sell it again. Cant even play my Resident Evil PS1 games since I would need a PS3 to transfer them. Such BULL$%@#!!!!!!!! IF games dont come soon I will be trading this to get a 3DS even if it does make me look like a child playing it. At least they have a game library, backwards capability and Resident Evil…. F&#@!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really nice update on the whole. Still kinda dissapointed that we US Store users are still missing out on things like ecolibrium and the Silent Hill demo for the PS Vita which the Europeans are getting? Why is this? Are there any rights issues that have to be resolved?

Was not expecting to get anything from the PSN store this week but Tokyo Jungle for 15$ + 20% discount for PSN+ I think I might just have to pick that up! Hopefully I’ll actually get that backlog of games eaten away so I can play it because I know once Persona 4 The Golden comes out I won’t have much time for anything else!
Also would it be possible to have another promotion for renewing our PSN+ membership? Mine is almost up and last year there were two promotions: One in July that gave an additional 3 months free (which I picked up), and the second in the Fall with a free game. I would prefer 3 months free so I can use the 20$ I’d save towards a game of my choice, but either would be better than nothing :) Thanks!

I liked the organization and better spacement given to the PS+ Section, it’s much better to visualize.
And thank you very much to include the “Last Chance” and “(Leaving on xx/x)”. Now it’s easier for me to decide when to come back to be a PS+ user. Much appreciated!

Fantastic update!! Especially the Day 1 digital stuff! :)
Now, I know this is probably nitpicky as all can be, but the ONLY thing that needs to be included with the day one digital stuff is the ability for the game to “pre-install” like it does on Steam. While preordering the game and having it access it to it is a great thing, being able to install the game and play it at midnight would only be a God send! This is seriously the only feature that keeps me from pre-ordering anything on the PS store, because I’d still have to sit thru the download to be able to play the games I wanted. I’m not sure what processes have to go into making pre-install happen, but it would probably turn a lot of customers to the PSS for their new game needs!
Just a careful thought :) Long Live Play!!

Wait a second, so I saw that Borderlands was expiring soon and decided that I had enjoyed it enough so far that it would be worth it to actually purchase the DLC at the discount that it was being offered at. Then when I went to purchase it, boom, the discount is no longer available. Why eliminate the DLC discount before the game is even off of PS+ instant? This would have been the first paid DLC that I had ever gotten, as I’m about as anti-DLC as they come. Guess it wasn’t meant to be…
