The last time I played any of the Playstation Plus games was Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, which I hated. What a terrible investment the one-year subscription was for me.

@sony!

Can we get an update for final fantasy 3 for psp?

I can confirm that my friend purchased it thru ps3 and downloaded on vita, but when i tried to do it, i get the error messae saying game not downloadable thru ps vita. So for some reason some Vitas can download it while others can. This seems a little messed up to me.

sony hasnt commented at all on this whole ff3 thing. I wish they would say something…..

:(

And, you know what else? You need to start factoring the massive savings you enjoy on releasing media digitally versus traditional retail into your digital pricing. This is why Steam is absolutely crushing digital media.

A couple disappointments for me this week. The major one being that I sadly don’t have $40 to play LittleBigPlanet on my PS Vita. Damn, I wish I had that money. DX

I’m still waiting, hoping that the PS Vita in North America will get T@G, Ecolibrium, and I would love to see Tokyo Jungle come to the Vita as well, it looks like a solid title.

Any word on PS1 classics? I’m still waiting to play Crash Bandicoot on my Vita. With the rumor that Need for Speed: Most Wanted is delayed on the Vita, I have nothing to play until Persona 4: Golden.

So we all know Sony wants to sabotage Vita despite some of us loving it and wanting it to succeed but it’s complete BS when mistakes by Sony on PSN make Vita a little better but then SCEA has to “fix” the mistake and bring Vita back down a notch.

Was so excited to hear FF3 PSP was working but couldn’t buy it at work and get home to find out SCEA “fixed” it from working on Vita. That’s just great, thanks SCEA, saved me $20. Don’t bother putting it up in 2 weeks when you feel like handing it out to us peasent class Vita owners during a slow release week. I’m not buying it till its under $10 now. I don’t know why i’m keeping this thing when even Sony hates it.

Anyone who has been abpe to get FFIII onto your Vita, what version system software are you using, 1.80 or 1.81? I have 1.81 and it won’t let me download it from my list. My best guess is it only works if you didn’t update to the latest version. Anyone confirm or disprove the theory? I got no other ideas.

@215 and others, it has nothing to with your firmware version, if you were able to download it before a couple hours ago you are golden, you can still play it. They “fixed” the mistake and you are no longer able to download it to vita as of a couple hours ago.

@218 which begs the question, why woudl they purposly block vita users from enjoying it. Its like they have something against the people who own vita’s. Truthfully, i cant see why they would ever due this, and yet sony has kept very very quite about this whole issue.

I mean if some people could get it and others cant, i could see it maybe being a bug or something, but obv now that they “fixed” it means they dont want vita users to have this and otehr games.

I would as well as others would really like some kind of explanation from you sony on this issue….
considering we bought this machine that you touted was amazing and new, and yet seem to be getting stiffed for PSP system users

Okay, Im a little frustrated here. about 3 weeks ago I went out to buy the Ratchet and Clank Collection for PS3, I have no car so I had to walk around town to go get it, the first store 2 miles away from my apartments “WallMart” didn’t have it, only the God of War Saga, about another mile down the road was a Fred Myers, they too did not have this game, finally another half mile down the road was a local game store and still no game :/ so frustrated I walked back to game stop and got myself a 50$ PSN card, bought R&C 1 and 2 for 14.99 a piece and renewed my PS Plus Subscription. But now, weeks later, I see that the entire Collection is purchasable on the Playstation Store for $29.99. Honestly, I feel cheated of my money when I could have bought the entire collection for the 30 I spent on just 2 of the games. Why wasn’t the collection on prior on PSN?

To all the people thanking Sony for Starhawk, are you crazy? They offer you half a game, call it a “full PS3 game”, and you say thank you? All that does is assure them that they can do whatever they want. EU gets tons of FULL PS3 titles while we get PSN downloadable games and half games. I have been unsatisfied with everything Plus has offered us in the Instant Game Collection and I feel like I wasted money on a Plus subscription…

@231: You realize, that they said the day they were added to the store that they were going to add the Collection later right? You should have paid attention. Nevermind the obvious mark up prices, which should have told you to not buy them separately at all.

Also, call your stores before driving all over the place to see if they have it. Saves time.

(Sorry I meant to post this earlier) Unfortunately the Ratchet & Clank discount “announce” was really just an accidental thing that slipped out on the Store post before the details were final (and that’s why we removed that portion of the Store post, which you’ll notice now). Although there’s no discount for them this week, it is something we’re looking at for future Plus benefits. I don’t want to put a timeline on that though, since as you can tell, things do change.

Playstation Store is selling Starhawk Online Pass for 9.99…is this a mistake? I hope not…I already purchased it. Did I make a mistake by paying for that? I know that you have to purchase a 10 dollar online pass if you want to use the online features on a pre-owned copy of the game. So does that mean it won’t work for this free version of Starhawk? @247 You only need to buy an “Online Pass” if you got a pre-owned copy of a disc-based game.

If you buy the game new, the box includes a voucher with the Online Pass, so tou don’t have to buy it again.

If you buy the digital version of the game, it already comes bundled with the Online Pass, so again, there’s no need to buy it.

I hope this information helps.
