That’s it for this week. Make sure you check out tomorrow’s PlayStation Store update post to see all the details for this week’s Plus update, and come back next week when we’ll have more great Plus news to share.
Also, we’d love to know your thoughts as to what you enjoyed most about Plus in the month of September. Feel free to explain your vote in the comments, or in the Plus section in the PlayStation Community forums.

Where is Red Dead for USA? Come on Sony!!!!!
Will there be psn avatars for re6 tomorrow will love to have some
Morgan I hate to sound like a hater but i was hopping more first person shooters that starhawk game what a nice way to say it was crap please hook some of us up with like portal 2 red dead
Man i haven’t played a blitz game in so long, i hope this one is as good as they were back in the day. They were the only football games i liked.
We need more free avatars. Seriously.
Why aren’t we getting a free ps1 game each month anymore? I really liked that. Also, why no support for castlevania symphony of the night on the vita? That’s crazy to me you wouldn’t support one of the top 5 psx games of all time straight out of the bat.
I voted for Borderlands! I already own the game, but I hopeful that more games of that quality comes to PS +.
On another note, I don’t like the new format of giving bits of information each week instead of all at once. I know you probably don’t have much say in the matter. I enjoy how people get mad at you when you are just giving the info out. I could be wrong; Do you make all the decisions at PS?
A weak week for Plus imho. I say “week” because we can’t say month anymore ;)
Nonetheless, keep up the good work. It’ll take more than a couple of bad months (my opinion obviously) in one year to make me give up plus. Overall a fantastic value for a years worth of gaming.
Iam not a fan of sports games at all. This is a hell no. But Iam sure other people will enjoy it. So thats alright… this one time lol.
Nice update. But it is nicer if we got something like free Resident Evil 4 HD or Resident Evil 5 considered Resident Evil 6 being released now; just like we got Borederlands for free when Borderlands 2 coming out :)
Hey Morgan! Thank you a lot for taking my opinion into account and telling which game will be out from the IGC, that will help a lot!
Please do more polls, they may be really important for you guys to have a glimpse of what we like or dislike.
close to 250 comments! nice
Interested in NFL Blitz but Madden woulda been great. But the main reason in me posting a comment is I LOVE that you gave us a vote so we could provide you a quick, efficient way to give you feedback besides just combing through all our comments. Brilliant addition guys. I hope to see the votes far more often!
I love the variety that Playstation Plus provides. One week, I get Borderlands, a FPS/RPG hybrid; another week I get Double Dragon Neon, a remade, old-school beat-em-up; another week I get Starhawk, a third-person action shooter; then this week I get NFL Blitz, an arcade football classic (not to mention a very good game — 80 Metacritic score).
I understand why people complain — the games they’d like to see in the IGC don’t end up there (i.e., Red Dead, Dead Space 2, etc.). However, just because the games YOU want to be in the IGC don’t land there doesn’t mean that the PS+ updates are crappy. In fact, many of the games that have been placed in IGC are critically-acclaimed titles. There are very few, if any, “bad games” in the IGC. If you are a person that buys nearly every big titles like Borderlands, Infamous 2, and LBP2 when they are released, but are in PS Plus mostly for the IGC…what the heck are you doing?! Of course it’s not worth it for you…BECAUSE YOU BUY EVERYTHING THE DAY IT’S RELEASED! Heck, most of the people calling for Red Dead and Dead Space 2 probably have already played it and returned it to Gamestop (very few hardcore gamers have not played these highly-regarded titles).
For me, a person who does not frequent Gamestop every Tuesday to buy new releases, the IGC is extremely worthwhile, as it enables me to play games that I would’ve never dared try because I didn’t want to waste the money. Borderlands is a great example. Thanks to the IGC, I tried and loved that game, and will be buying BL2 soon.
In closing, I don’t expect the world for the $50 I pay to Sony for PS+ and the IGC. I just want diverse experiences…and for me, Sony delivers in spades. Keep up the good work, Morgan and Co!
We’re definitely always going for variety, and the philosophy you just broke down is exactly what we strive for. Thanks for the support!
