So your skipping my question about ps home spending? I guess I’ve hit nerves with you guys that you skip my questions now. DOES BUYING THINGS ON PLAYSTATION HOME COUNT TOWARDS THE SPENDING 100? It stats 3rd party purchases does not support it. So does mean buying stuff for tycoon city off Home won’t count towards the 100? Its billing me from psn account so I would imagine its counting towards the spending promotion. Can you confirm or not?

Hey Morgan first time posting on the blog, hopefully you can help me out. With the “spend 100 get $20 back” promotion will the $20 credit be sent to our email address or our PSN inbox?

    Should come both to your PS3 inbox, as well as to your email account that your PSN account is registered to.

so sad for me

2 weeks ago I bought KOF XIII with the 3 add chara… I lost 45USD

with that money I ´d be able to spent 100usd to receive 20usd in november but now I lost the chance

I like that the vita have free games with the plus, as well as free content or big promos. I will buy the cross games like foosball, wipeout, sounds and shapes and know retro city

but please give us best prices . . . DAY 1 promo is good but 6 dollars is a shame

Good grief, Patapon is even more expensive than its sequel too. At least the difference is onky $2 on there and both are under $10. Still. Fire whoever is supposed to monitor first party ricing on PSN. They are sleeping on the job.

If the stuff in Home uses the playstation store checkout it should qualify based on everything they’ve said so far.

@Morgan.

Yes I’m definately hasty at times in my reactions. I just saw a fighting game (comparing it to the EU games) and felt bad.

I do think we need some RPG/strategy/etc… more variety in the IGC.

But in this case I jumped the gun with my judgement.

As a whole I’m still hoping Plus improves/goes back to more like it was.

But I also don’t want to just complain (if its not a plus issue I’m usually more positive).

Good update overall today sir.

i wonder why PSN cant match up in weekly sales like gamestop and ebgame do every weeks. i mean if they have the “right” to sell a retail game brand new for 19.99$~29.99 and the game is still 39.99~59.99$ why it is not the same price on the playstation network? and why there’s a huge gap betwwen PSN price and physical games that make absolutly no sense.
and the worst of all its when you look at NFS hot pursuit the game cost 19.99$ the bundle dlc cost 34.99
and the “super pack” including the game and all dlc’s is 59.99$ so you got ripped off if you buy the “super pack”
and same for need for speed shift 2, you save 5$ buying the game and the dlc bundle separatly compare to the “super pack” at 59.99$. why nobody look at the price on the store. to see if they match price market.

@Morgan Haro

i wish you are going to look for NFS hot pursuit and NFS shift 2 “super pack” price on the store right now.
the pack should be atleast 54.99$ to be the same as if you buy the full game and the dlc’s bundle.

Hey Morgan, would it not have been a better idea to hold off on removing either Sideway NY or Warhammer 40K Space Marine until the second game is added? I get the impression that the second was held back just to have something to put out next week for PS+ when there’s this big hole in the Instant Game Collection.

I don’t really enjoy fighting games but since this game is published by Atlus I guess I have to give it a try. Although, if you guys are adding games from Atlus may I suggest giving away Catherine? It’s a niche game much like KOFXIII so I doubt many people have played it. Anyway, that is what I would love to see.

@88–JonJon: I think you can purchase & download away from home. Enable remote play with your Vita. Then you can access your PS3, go to the real PSN store. Purchase & download. I experimented with this when I was@ home. I haven’t tried from another location since I rarely take my Precioussss out of the house. Try it & report back?

Anyways like another person was saying how come 2 games left when only 1 was rotated in ? I thought its for every game that leaves others were to join. All I can hope is we get a good scary game that is recent coming to the game collection.

+ SLEEPLESS_KNIGHT on October 9th, 2012 at 4:28 pm said:

@Morgan One thing that still needs addressing is the PS Store itself. ALL games (that includes demos) should have screenshot previews, not just paid content. I’ve noticed lately, especially on my Vita, there are some newer demos that do have screenshots, but then some others that are just as new don’t. There is no consistency.

I hate to compare PSN to XBL but one thing they do very well is that EVERY game, be it a demo or a paid game has screenshots so you can see what the game actually looks like.

Also, how come PSN games such as Sega’s NiGHTS Into Dreams come with NO demo/trial, yet the Xbox Live versions of the same games ALWAYS have a demo/trial?

These are areas that simply need improving to be on par with the other guy’s online service. Yes PSN is free, so you kind of expect to get a bit less than the competitor’s console who charges $60 /year, but there are enough PS+ subscribers now that I think it’s about time the PS Store caught up with XBL Marketplace.

@123 wwedx25, if your buddy bought the season pass for Walking Dead, tell him to delete the expired games he got from Plus, then download episode 1 again from the store. You need ep 1 to play the other episodes. I don’t have the game yet, but that’s my suggestion. This must be happening to lots of people who let their Plus expire.
