@189 You could just search the game on the youtube app and come up with all sorts of videos about it. Screenshots don’t really tell you anything anyway.

@181 Kchow23.

CinemaNow isn’t difficult to find.

When you go to the Store, look up Media and Apps.

Then go to the PS3 section; all PS3 apps are there (if you want Vita apps, select Vita apps).

@200, Oh right you mean that YouTube app that I can’t run simultaneously with the PS Store open? So I have to close the PS Store, search on the YouTube app to see a video, then close that app, re-open the PS Store and navigate to the demo/game I want to download again?

So convenient…

Or Sony could simply make it mandatory going forward to have a few screenshots of every game that gets posted to the store – it’s not that difficult as they sort of half-as$ do it already.

;P

Hey guys,

Last night I bought Retro City Rampage on my PS Vita. Today I had planned on downloading it on my PS3, as the PS Store clearly states buying it for one system gives it to you on both.

HOWEVER, I can’t seem to download the PS3 version on my PS3. When I go to “Retro City Rampage” under PS3 Games, it has the logo for “Already Purchased.” But when I click download, I’m only given the option to download the Vita version. Same thing happens when I search for Retro City Rampage.

When that downloads, I have the game-in-a-bubble to transfer to my Vita (which I don’t need) and have no file to install the game on my Ps3. Help!!

@201 Yeah and that exactly is the problem. It should appear under New Releases instead of having to go through the extra steps that you mentioned.

I was able to find it under Media & Apps, but you shouldn’t have to… new content should appear at the top of the New Releases chart like it usually does.

“(3) Option to APPEAR OFFLINE Already!”

Why? Are you trying to hide from someone? If you have someone on your list that you don’t like, just delete them. What’s are you afraid of?

KemetMan72-_ on October 9th, 2012 at 2:07 pm said: “You think I am paying $15 for a 41MB game you’re nuts!”

What does the file size have to do with the value of it? It’s the amount of love, effort, passion and work that went into that 41MB that matters. And believe me, it’s there. I’ve been playing RCR and it’s great so far. The small file size is only due to it’s simplistic presentation ALONE. It doesn’t reflect the level of charm, spirit, and depth the game has.

So apparently this is yet another flawed theory that’s floating around out there among gamers… that a bigger file size = better quality game. Unbelievable. It’s amazing how many illusions you guys have.

@205 Kchow23

I guess it could be.

I find it much easier to search for Apps in Media and Apps.

When the are a bunch of new release, I find it difficult to find things there.

@208 Each to their own, but I find it easier to find NEW content under New Releases… if I am looking for something that has been out for a while then I look under the different tabs or use the search function.

Seriously, would DMC be that hard to bring to the Vita? How would that not sell? especially if you split it up….you can keep 2. DMC 1 and 3 for 9.99 each…not a person would pass on that!! Metal Gear solid needs to be on the next drop for ps one classics. Also wth is Pacman CE on minis..bring it!!!!

@PrimeroIncognito – I’m not “trying to hide” from anyone, it’s just annoying when I’m watching Netflix or playing a single-player RPG or something getting a bunch of game invites or messages. There are certain apps/services which require you to be signed into your PSN account so it’d just be nice to have the option to appear offline if you just want to do whatever you’re doing in peace.

Not sure where to post this…but GTA 3 has an issue where it turns off my controller both when I start and quit the game. Also, if I let the game go a little bit before turning my controller on and I later turn it on the controller doesn’t sync up with the ps3 and I have to connect it through the charging cable. Anyone else having this problem or know where I should post this?

Little confused/disappointing. I was under the impression that Bulletstorm and Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition would be part of the playstation plus instant game collection. It was in a playstation blog article. Was this maybe a European playstaiton store update?? Please shine some light on this for me!!!
LOVING PLAYSTATION PLUS
thanks

This is off subject but who ever made the USELESS youtube app for ps3 needs to be FIRED. I have had nothing but problems with it tonight. No matter what video I select to watch it plays the same first video I watched when I signed on. I have reset the ps3 and booted up that app again and its still acting weird and keeps playing the first video I select OVER AND OVER no matter what other video I click. This is bullsh**. The idiot took away getting to youtube from the ps3 browser it just ask us to the STUPID BROKEN APP. The idiot ruined a way to even comment on youtube from the ps3 browser. Now a ps3 for youtube is JUNK. I have no PC anymore and sold it so now for youtube I’m in the stone ages on this DAM* overhyped lie of its so powerfull yet my Ipod touch 4th gen ran circles around the ps3 browser. This is crock. The new ps3 youtube app is USELESS. I’d like to knock out the fool that made it.

Question:

Is the TTT2 Bonus Tracks Pack 1 comprised of the songs in the other four soundtrack DLCs? Or, are all five packs different?

@ SLEEPLESS_KNIGHT:

I understand how you’d be irritated by that, but how hard is it to tell your friends to not send you messages if they can see you’re on Netflix or playing another game? All my friends know not to bug me with invites if they see me playing a different game. I don’t see how it would be that hard for you to get your friends to show you the same courtesy.

@217: Why is it such a big deal to you that people want this feature? He isn’t the only one. Sometimes people want a little privacy. It’s not too much to ask for really. To hate on a guy for wanting a very basic feature is pretty ridiculous.

I’d love to preorder Assassins Creed 3 + Liberation, and grab the digital version of Dishonored but whenever I try to add funds I get a 80023102 error now.

It’s the same credit card i’ve used for years, not expired for several more years, plenty of remaining credit on it, works everywhere else. Tech support cant figure out how to fix it (tried like 30 versions of my address input), waited 48 hours, etc etc. Its a Playstation Credit Card, too, so if the possibility of it working again exists it doesn’t make sense to not get the 10x points by buying a PSN card.

Why wont you let you let me give you money, Sony?

It’s NOT a big deal. I was only CURIOUS as to why it would be a BIG DEAL TO HIM, other people, and apparently you too. I was only trying to help the guy out because I simply feel there’s no need to let such a petty thing bother you, like a message popping up in the corner when you’re watching a movie on Netflix.

What “hating” are you talking about? That’s in your mind, bro. Your perception is twisted.

Get a grip dude. You’re one of the most whiny people on here. Why are you so miserable? If you’re constantly feeling disappointed with Sony, why don’t you just move on without them? (Without telling us all about it first, of course…)

@221: See dude? You are one to talk. I asked you a question..a very simple question and you are flipping out? I’m whiny? Look in the mirror man. You flip out at everything.

Every single blogpost here is not without your presence. You constantly yap away and even when people have pretty reasonable requests or complaints you lose it like some obsessive fanboy. Seek help man. You got some mental issues.

Yes, you are whiny.

No, I’m not flipping out. I’m always sitting here calmly every time I type up a post. And in many of my posts, I’ve only attempted to be helpful, and sometimes I’m just giving my perspective on a particular game.

No, I’m not on every blog post, in fact I only post on a select few.

If you actually have to resort to making things up me to make yourself look better, it only means that you must not have not been able to find any real faults in what I’ve said.

Every time someone makes a point that you don’t like, you ignore it and try to turn your embarrassment around on them making up some bogus reason why you’re never at fault. It hasn’t fooled anybody yet though, I’m sure.

And the little “seek help” quip is entirely unoriginal and way beyond pointless. You’re trying just a little to hard to convince yourself.
