  • Thanks for responding Kristine :D

  • You broke my heart guys!! No KZ Trilogy here. The first one rocks but c’mon don’t mislead. Or maybe you don’t proofread your drop posts (actually that’s kind of obvious) Oh well less money for me to spend I’ll just wait for it to be here. All good though I’ll just eagerly await PS All Stars!

  • still no deadlocked……..i do like that the tokyo jungle dlc was finally added

  • Incredible deals on ps3 and vita WILL magnificent……thanks to the sony is the best.

  • Theres a new ps3 fw update

  • @177 Joeltron3030: That’s the way the Vita is, you have to be online to view PS3 games on it.

  • I love plus.!!!…that said, this is the worst drop so far i think.

  • Hate to derail, but can we get some sort of update on this whole LV0 leak thing?

  • port royale 3 DLC coming soon?

  • Hay Kristine Steimer ,

I know this is late in the post/comment section, so I don’t know if you or Morgan H. will see this. I updated to latest FW and I got few complaints I would like to voice and may be you all could pass it on to the right people.
1st. It seams to have slowed some things down, WAY DOWN, like the trophies sync ability and looking at my own profile. 2nd. I can’t even look at my friends profiles now, it tries but times out every time. And 3rd. Trying to use various functions throughout the XMB it slows/pauses/freezes for a bit before finally doing it.

Thanks for looking into this (if you see this)

  • The new firmware update seems to have slowed down the friend list loading for me. It used to only take upwards of 90 seconds to load all my friends on my list, but now it took around 6 or 7 minutes to get all of them to show up. Even then, some still didn’t have their avatar pic show up.

I’m not sure if the firmware is slowing things down or not, but you guys should look into it.

  • mine is slow as well with the friends list and i have no avatar anymore

  • meh i don’t like the new avatars

  • Is DJ MAX Technika Tune being released this week?

  • Man, some people are touchy. Telling Sony to file bankruptcy over some DLC. Really? So entitled.

  • Hey question… If I purchase Medal of Honor Warfighter on the PS Store, do I still get into the BF4 beta as with purchasing the retail copy? And how will the beta code/access be delivered? …A message to my account on my PS3, to my email? Also.. Any idea yet on WHEN the beta for BF4 might start? Thanks.

  • @211

I’d like to know this too. I know that the retail version hits this week but it would be nice if there is some insider info on the psn release. Would be awesome if Kristine could answer that

  • Haven’t ever heard of these ps1 “classics” , what would it take to give us true ps1 classics like “crash bandicoot” or “spyro the dragon” series?

  • Now that ps vita and ps3 trophies are merged are the ps vita trophies going to contribute towards our level score.

  • + IIL0YDII weird, the worst PSN ever(brazilian) has and US dont? I’ve bought all 3 Crash Bandicoot(1, Cortex Strikes Back and Warped) dont know if it still on the Store, but I got it there..

  • Hey, please i need help. I noticed at the top it says you guys added “PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale Beta ($0.00)” but it is not in my PlayStation store at all. I Have tryed searching for it, looking in the latest games added, everywhere. I have the new store update since i am from New Zealand, do you think that is the reason i don’t have it? If so then when do i get it as i don’t want to miss out on this beta.

  • @216 JokerThe Our PS Vita trophies have always contributed to our level score. They just haven’t been viewable on PS3.

  • !!!! Do I need to be a Playstation Plus subscriber to try the Playstation All Stars battle royale beta?? !!!

I intend to buy this game but I want to try it out before I do, because I’ve seen many videos but I have a feeling it’s not very fast paced…

  • Very good, but what’s about Dokuro for canadian players?
It’s not in the canadian PSN game list

  • @Tekn0tize, @Pipelayer_69

Don’t need to be plus member to play, try look for the Battle Royalle in the Cross Games section on the PS Vita, in my Store it is only downloadable from this section, and the beta is free.

  • @217 Vita trophies have always contributed to level, percentage of level and total trophy count; they just were not visible on the PS3 is all.

  • I think I’ve decided what I’d like.

Could North America get a disc and PSN release of “Move Fitness”?
Could North America get a disc release of “Start the Party Save the World!”?
Could North America get a disc release of “Lights, Camera, Party!”?

Maybe at least the two party games could be bundled together on one disc?

Or maybe bundle the two “Start the Party” games together on one disc?

Anyway, I’d appreciate it if you could pass this along to the folks in charge.

  • thanks for NOTHING again this week. MOH should have been a demo, Im not going to waste 18 hours downloading so I can play for a friggin hour with half that being cut scenes. garbage updates again. its like you hate all of us. uk gets awesome games and it seems every week they get em. we get bupkiss. feeling very ripped off.

  • Hi Kristine, thanks for the reply to #96. I’ve been waiting for Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops too, and it seems like we’re never going to get it. I’m dying to play all the MGS canon games, and that’s the only one I’m missing.

  • Again I ask If you want great sales on PSN why are you not having a midnight release like the retail stores for AC3?

  • This is great. You’re doing great content-wise. Heck, I’m pretty sure you’ve got Nintendo and MS beaten in terms of fair digital prices and day one Vita releases.

Vita, however, needs a firmware update. It needs a cloud save system for cross saves with PS3 and dear lord, for backup. Don’t make me use the darn PC. Also, I shouldn’t be opening a separate app to see online friends. I think the firmware team need only look to the 360 dashboard for guidance, or heck, their Facebook home page on how it should be.

If you want a user’s perspective on hardware, I would say drop the Cameras, and rear touch pad, and accordingly the console price. See if that doesn’t stimulate sales. I just know that those extra “features” have mostly resulted in shallow gameplay experiences in my time spent with LBP Vita.

I know what remains is just a higher res, more powerful PSP with a mic but that is really all I care about for my gaming desires. Oh, and of course, keep the 5″ display and dual analog sticks. Honestly, the PSP go would have succeeded if it wasn’t an abomination in hardware design and actually offered the Vita’s beauty and power. Just my thought.

Let’s go, Sony. I’m rooting for your handheld!

  • I hope next week brings better content.

  • @ 177 – Joeltron3030.

You mention it’s stupid to have to be online to display Vita trophies.

As far as I’m aware, the PS3 does this as well and if you want to check from a pc or mobile device, you have to enter you id and online password.

So it’s actually the same everywhere, not just the Vita.

The online trophy list is great and now finally displays Vita and PS3 trophies.

If you weren’t aware of the trophy online site, it’s below.

  • Litlebigplaet KArting is already available for preorder in the European PS Store… Will it be available in the US Store??

  • As always PSN pricing sucks.

I want to buy God of War Ghost of Sparta HD, but the game alone is more expensive than the complete Origins Collection. Absurd.

Retail price changes should be reflected on PSN on the next store update, not some random time after.
You get more money with people buying digital and you still encourage people to buy retail ?

  • I am getting Killzone HD. And, next week, Okami HD! Yessssssssssssssss.

And please give PS Plus subscribers (like myself), discounts on thete releases. ;p
Thanks, anyway for the great support. U guys rock.

  • When you guys gonna put the Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core on the PS Vita?

  • @95 The PSX versions of FFI and II don’t have any loading times. I just beat them last week. They are much better ports than V and VI for PSX. Honestly they are probably the best versions of those games. The PSP version of FF1 changes the magic system to MP(A pretty drastic change IMO) and only lets you play on easy mode. The PSX version uses the original magic system and has a normal mode with the same difficulty as the NES version. Plus FF2 is included for the same price and you can play it on PS3 as well. All the PSP versions have is the extra dugeons from the GBA version(which aren’t worth it) and IMO far uglier sprites.

  • I’ve had a PS3 for years, but not played it much recently… too many excellent PC games keeping me busy. However, the Vita has brought me back to the Sony fold for on the go gaming, and as such I’ve been getting caught up via this blog: I just wanted to commend on how great it is that you folks are so responsive in the comments. It’s easy to get frustrated and the big “Sony”, but your level of community engagement here is fantastic.

  • I love the Playstation Store update of this week…i will buy the last dlcs of Tokyo Jungle for sure, its a great game, i hope that Sony give us more dlcs, cause would be cool to play with some animals that were forgotten as the rhinos, gorilla, fox, snake, turtle, komodo dragon, penguins, raccoons, triceratops and others awesome animals! * – *

  • Does the buy $100 get $20 work in Canada or it just a waste of my time?

  • I want to renew my plus account.

  • Oh I’ve been waiting for KZ1 HD its been a while…I’ve already beaten on PS2 and I still have the disc of the PS2 game…but still I can’t wait to get this and play in full HD oh yeah. Now I’ll have my KZ collection complete…I would like the HD version of the KZ Liberation though..damn that would be awesome….whaddya say Sony hu?

  • @230 agreed

  • StarHawk is a REALLY nice game! I love the single player campain, I guess I’ll have no other choice than to buy the multiplayer as well now!! ^_^

Cool game! Would have been nice to let us play coop on the campain.

  • I just purchased the DLC of Dark Souls but the file size it´s only 100 kb is that correct, wasn’t it supposed to be a full expansion I’m just curios about it, I haven´t play the game yet, but this is really bugging me, can anyone please answer me.

  • Compared to Xbox releases (especially full games), Sony does ALOT better. I was shocked when i switched to xbox to see how awful the store updates are. They may get stuff “early” *mostly just dlc, and its nothing i play* but they also get horrible digital-disc games! (Which is what i buy!!)

  • I was wondering if we will see a few games in the near future… Legend of Lagia, Xenosaga, Ehrigiez? Will Sony ever get gears of war? ( I really don’t want to buy an Xbox )Also will the first Black Ops reflect the price drop compared to gamestop? Have a great week. pWo 4Life ( Playstation World Order )

  • Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward!!!!!

Dark Souls Artroias DLC, Dead or Alive 5 costume DLC, Tekken Tag 2 OST/Gallery DLC, and Uncharted 3 cosmetics!!!!!

  • Nice update but… I would just like to know what Sony was thinking moving the trophy collection under the PSN section. I understand it’s not a huge deal for the majority. It does, however, seem like a bit of an inconvenience for say trophy hunters. I’m not complaining necessarily… just doesn’t seem like they thought that through.
