Oh hey, November. Almost didn’t see you there with all of your fall colors, national holidays, and general autumn revelry. Why do people keep on about the Vita? I thought it failed dismally right? And Plus is getting worse and worse IMO, not suited for guy’s like me anymore…Great service though once, had some good times waaaaaaay back in the day.
Another crappy plus update for me. Almost 2 months now and I’ve had all the games. I really hope this month turns out better. You guys really need to blow plus for vita out of the water.

I voted for the Halloween sales. That’s actually what I got the most out of last month. NFL blitz was surprisingly fun, and I love the $1 Sega games — but the huge discounts on a long list of games all at the same time was really great for me.
when i get my 20 dollars reward i will definetely get portal 2, just one question why do you have an official xbox the magazine review this is a playstation blog. Besides that great update guy’s keep it up.
I’d hate to let a quick text of another magazine’s review prevent us from using a perfectly good trailer. There’s no logos, and it’s about a second’s worth of time. You guys know what system to get it on anyway, right? ;)
Oh goodie, yet another IGC game that I’ve owned for a long long time (bought when on sale as a plus member).
Other than the very first IGC update, there’s mostly been old games I’ve owned for a long time. No where near as good as the FullPS3 selection that EU has been getting.
So yet another horror and shooter game. Yet another old game. Ever thought of getting some variety/diversity for the game types or will we just keep getting shooters, horror, sidescroller crud?
First the store update makes browsing/looking around for fun next to impossible (not to mention all the missing content, errors, etc…) and now yet another bad Plus update.
Every week the PS3 is more like the Xbox, this is just sad.
@110 I hate the xbox (I have one, plenty of games I like) ever since they changed the dashboard/marketplace and now navigating is a nightmare, just like the new PS store (the store also looks like they cut/paste from the xbox code)
Between that and plus becoming a terrible paid service (xbox you have to pay just to play online, so the comparison there is both consoles have bad paid online services), PS3 is heading (for me) in a bad direction towards the xbox qualities I don’t like.
i voted the 1 $ games they were better than the 3 other free ones ,
i played kof13 about 5 times .. quit was boring
played nfl blitz 2 times .. quit was boring
played payday 2 times , plan on going back for the trophies but don’t feel like it
Does anyone know if Mercenaries mode is unlocked from the start for Gold Edition? I have already beaten the game like 3 times on my Xbox 360 and I don’t feel like beating it again on the PS3. I’d like to just be able to hop right into Mercenaries mode and enjoy the DLC.

You might be confusing this post with the PlayStation Store Update post? This only covers upcoming games that are getting a Plus discount / benefit in the current week.
Great game so I’m not complaining…but surprise I already own it….oh well, I’ll be getting the Portal DLC for sure.
I hope this is a sign of continued improvement…still waiting on a sortable download list, and maybe some psone classics or lesser known psn games that i don’t own. Finally, though, after a month of crap you’ve come through with something decent.

Nice one of Resident Evil 5 after saying it wasnt coming here, there it is lol might as well keep it up and copy the rest of the EU Store games :) and make everyone happy around here, at least so they stop yapping the same stuff every week :)
I hope Vita’s PS+ Update is next week and I hope it is GRAND! Cuz I want to get PS+ again but only if the Vita offering is nice! hint hint Give games that barely anyone bought like Sumioni lol or Dynasty Warriors and at least 2 PSone games and 1 minis that would be nice :)
takes time to readjust communication plans man….not to mention that there’s still the disclaimer that the poll is just one of many factors we look to in order to make decisions, but it is an important consideration =) So no concrete decisions have been made to alter the post frequency at this time. Just want to manage your expectations there.
And to anybody saying this game is racist is just ignorant and misinformed, plain and simple…not even gonna get into all the obvious reasons why it’s not.
@126 i agree. The monthly update should have started today. I want to know what sony has planned for next week, before i go buying things they will eventually put a discount on.
When you think about it.. It’s kind of ridiculous how good PS Plus is. You’ve basically spoiled us. Pretty soon, if you don’t hand out a Triple A title every week, people are going to go off the deep end.
#69 stop worrying about Darksiders and Deadspace 2 and Red Dead….for the love of god DS2 was only 9 bucks! And Darksiders II has been out and is superior in every way and they already said we won’t be getting Read Dead….actually jump into the 21st century and BUY some titles. I have all that’s on your little list….spend some money!
Oh, and sneaky sneaky with the RE Gold image on the new PS Store and denying it. Either you loved us enough to get that deal…. or you guys were being sneaky and slipped ;)
It’s unfortunate that I already have RE5 Gold Edition lol but nonetheless, I’m glad it’s joined the Instant Game Collection so maybe now people will complain a little less lol ;p keep up the great work Morgan!
Btw! I voted for Day 1 Digital Discounts as I thought this was by far the best thing about last month and I was just wondering if there would maybe be more Day 1 Digital games this month? Maybe All-Stars Battle Royale? :p
I mean you Platinumed Just Cause 2 so you obviously didn’t care about killing all the South East Asians in that game that were depicted as ruthless mercenaries.

Get real, it is a video game. These aren’t historically accurate foundations here. There are stereotypes in EVERY game on the market.

I have an EU and US playstation plus accounts,the EU update for this month is crisis 2 and rachet and clank all 4 one and the us is resident evil 5 that game was just out in the eu plus and rachet is on the us plus are both pluses going to copy each other or have different collections and the us day 1 discounts any new news on that.
