Oh hey, November. Almost didn’t see you there with all of your fall colors, national holidays, and general autumn revelry. but i got a few questions for morgan
1- is there going to be ps vita free content on ps plus?
2- if you dont have a ps vita can you add content to the download list and download it later on?
3- is there any news on Final Fantasy X HD?
4-can you download content in 2 PS3 and 1 PS vita?
this is annoying this late and no update we arent gonna have to wait till midnight again are we sony? Will there ever be consistency in this ever? pick a deadline and release stuff geez.

My guess is Cubixx HD, because it was just released as a free download for PSPlus in Europe this week. :P
You should know that they’re just now getting Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One free, which we already got. My point being is that last week almost all of the posts here were complaining about what they have and we don’t, yet now we’re getting RE5, and even the Portal games, and I personally can’t wait to try them with the PS Move.
$50.00 a year and people seriously complaining that they don’t get their money worth absolutely blows my mind. Do me a favor and add up the current prices for all the free FULL games you got, all the other freebies (themes, avatars, etc.), PLUS any discounts you used and saved through PS Plus. If you have enough free time to actually add up ALL those numbers, I think anyone could tell you you’re way more than getting your money worth, especially compared to any other company offerings out there.
I think the closest comparison might be the big N and their “Club” program which gives you coins for cheap themed items (don’t get me wrong, I still love that stuff) :P
On the other hand, I do agree that if there’s ways and ideas to expand this service and make it better still, then I’m all for that, but the idea that you’re somehow entitled to getting a few thousand dollars worth of free stuff and discounts a year for your 50 bucks is absurd.
I really like the idea mentioned earlier about having a lineup of 2 or three full games and you pick… That’s a really cool thought for those of us who already own some of the listed games… But credits back… I really don’t think that’s right or fair or feasible to ask of Sony or game designers; just silly really.
I LOVE this service and even though there’s a TON of stuff I simply don’t want or desire, I realize that there are many more who DO want those things, and I think fair is fair.
I also don’t get the whole “PS Plus just releases the same types of games over and over”. I’ve seen all sorts of variety of genres available, and I think it’s a good mixup.

How are they at Sony supposed to know what games people already own. to give a credit if someone owns the game is just stupid. you pay just over 4 dollars a month for this service so any expectation that you will get a brand new retail game every week is unrealistic.
Gamefly is $20 a month for one game at a time. you can buy at a discounted rate and choose any system you want, but you have to wait for new releases. Great service but it is limited to playing the games in your possession once you return it, you cant play it. I know you can play games on PC but I dont use that service.

I do believe they can update anytime from 12:00 till 8:00 Pacific time and right now it is only 4:33 Pacific time calm down everyone the store update is coming!

@430 Im sure we wont get an answer on page 9 but I am also being charge for the free game, I can not stand the new store and please please please do not tell me I need to download the trial to play. I only want to play the DLC not an hour of the game and then the DLC
Smells like tomorrow, in the morning, many angry dummies will ask for a refund because of this glitchy a$s store that sony have forced to install without any kind of stability tests.
I’d like to let all of you know: I am currently trying to download RE5 thru plus, but for some reason they’re still trying to take my monies… I called support and was adamantly told that RE5 IS NOT ON OUR FREE GAME COLLECTION LIST. I had to be told several times I was wrong before reading the post above and then put on hold 3 now 4 times over this. How could this CSR NOT KNOW WHAT THE CONTENT LINEUP IS. SHE WAS CITING LAST MONTHS PLUS UPDATE. I understand that the update is today, and yea, maybe she could give two rats about games in general, but c’mon, how do WE have this info before an employee ay Sony Computer Entertainment???? I just want some accountability, I love my PS3 and all the features it provides. GET YOUR TECH SUPPORT ON LINE. PLEASE. I shouldn’t have to spend… as of right now 25 minutes on the phone over a simple issue. Thank you :)
I too tried to get the RE5 game, only for it to try and charge me. I put it in the cart and it says (with the game) FREE but it still wants to charge me 29.99$ I don’t know what the problem is, but I hope it gets fixed soon.
@Nikolis44 if I was you I would hang up the minute she contradicted this blog. You just wasting time, those people are usually programmed to know about how to fix the ps3 by checking if it is connected, reconnecting it and restarting it.
I took my PS3 with me to st kitts while I stay here for a while so I’m used to having to download games overnight, thought the update might just be slow too…
Me: My PS3 led is red.
Support: Restart it.
Me: I did and now there is smoke coming out of the vents.
Support: Eject the BR Disc and make sure it does not have any stains or damage, clean it with care.
Me: Omg my house is on fire now.
Support: Unplug the PS3, reconnect it and restart it.
Me: Thanks for nothing, I’m homeless now.
Support: You can send your PS3 to our HQ for an additional price so we can inspect it.
40 minutes and 9 seconds on the dern phone and all I got was a wait and see in like 30 40 minutes. I KNOW THAT I JUST WANT SOMEONE TO BE RESPONSIBLE!! I’m ok with you telling me that…. um yea were having a technical difficulty rite now and we’re working on taking care of it. BUT YOU DIDNT DO THAT. It was crystal clear that you had no idea that “Residential Evil” (Not a typo, that is what she called it) was even a possibility on my IGC. This is a problem Sony. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. SOMEONE STEP THE HECK UP (Obeying the rules… trust me it should be much much worse).

I’m out, and I want to just add 1 last thing… I’m not trying to be snide or short with anyone, its just a little ridiculous when someone is trained not to solve a problem using knowledge and experience, but with a choose your own adventure console handbook, while they sit there on Facebook updating their status. I felt a little ignored and honestly like nothing was attempted. I was told that it was taken “to the last step” but not explained what that step was. I deeply consider abandoning my PS at least twice to three times a year, and that’s depressing. I beg and implore that someone at Sony reads this and understands that this is NOT OK, and really, all we want is for it to be ok… it doesn’t have to be perfect, ok would be grrrrrreat!
I am still not seeing this in the store… what is going on ? :/
