I am not sure what either of these are, just passing along the info…

People complaining about Morgan saying he isn’t responsive or something, shut up. Right now, he’s looking into the issues brought up before more people spend $30 on a free game. He is way more responsive than most people in his similar field (Bethesda, ‘nuf said). Give him time to work, he can’t fix a problem while also dealing with everyone complaining about Vita Plus content (comes in November, we just started the month, so just stop). He will pop in soon to respond to your annoying copy and paste posts from last week everyone, so just take a chill pill.

First time using the new store.

It is horrible. I can’t find anything expect Okami HD only because its new and hot atm. There’s no tab for the sales. PS2 and 1 games are bunched to together. Are you using this to hide how few of them there are, still no Suikoden II? EVERYTHING IS HUGE. The old store was simple and clean its perfect this is too Xbox.

Also where is the DLC at? Dark Souls DLC. Or any DLC for that matter.

When are you going to re-release all of the missing content from the old store??? Specifiaclly missing DLC/Add-Ons of which there are many.
EX: Red Faction: Guerrilla
WWE ’12

Also, how about an A-Z search option for Ad-Ons…?

PS+ member I might have accidently downloaded the RE5 trial…. Is this going to lock me out of the full game? When I go to PS+ free games it says I have purchased RE5 but it won’t allow me to download saying My Hard Disk Does Not Have Enough Space.. but it does it has 12GB and RE5 is 7gb… is this some sort of problem with the store and process in fixing the RE5 downloading problem?

THANK YOU FOR THE TIME IN ADVANCE

+ akibake on November 6th, 2012 at 6:28 pm said:

Finally got RE5 for free, by quitting the store and clicking the RE5 link, under What’s New on the XMB. Why it doesn’t work by navigating to it inside the store, I have no idea about.

In general, I like the new look of the store and the sorting/filtering is indeed helpful. I like how there’s more information, like file size for downloads, immediately available on the description pages for games. However, there are numerous issues:

- On broadband, it takes 20 seconds to load the PSN Store to a usable state, where the old store took about 3 seconds. I’d recommend baking some assets into the OS, to at least make it feel like it’s loading faster.

- The PS Vita “channel” is obscure. It should be above the fold.

- Downloading free content forces the user through the shopping cart process, which is bewildering and a total waste of time. Initiating downloads is equally convoluted.

As someone who spends an inordinate amount on the PSN, I hope you’ll consider my feedback.

I have always browsed the PS Store on Tuesdays and would always see all the newly added content. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible on the new store. The PS store no longer allows me to view new content by date added. It used to be very easy to see the dates things were added to the store.

I tried to go to the new section. I could not even tell what some things were without clicking on them. Free Muggen something..is it a theme…and avatar…nope its actually DLC – I had to choose it to tell what it was. The new PS store layout is horrible.

I consider myself a step ahead of some others who do not frequent it often. Sadly that must place them at a horrible position if I cannot even browse the store. Its way to hard to understand and find things. Its really kinda sad!

Wow. Another week, and even more crap from Sony. The new store is terrible, and why am I not surprised that we’re lied to once again on PS+ for Vita. Oh yeah, I forgot, we’re going to get more info about it real soon… Yeah, thanks. Wonder where I’ve heard that one before? For as terrible as the XBOX is at least when Major Nelson says something is coming it actually shows up.
And remember when the Vita was launching and Sony themselves said digital games would be priced similar to the physical copies and in some cases 10% cheaper? What did that last a week? The digital copies are twice the price of retail copies in some cases. For first party Sony games.

So thank you once again for making me regret every buying my Vita. For ever listening to you when you said PS+ was coming for it. I signed up pretty much just for that… But I guess I can hold my head up, because more info is coming real soon. I just need to be patient.

I’m not one to comment just to complain but…..

This new store is not very effecient. I like to look at the new add ons for games that have been released each week. With this new layout when I go to new add ons it gives each add on by it’s name rather than by the game. For instance Rock Band 3 add ons, before I could just go to the Rock Band 3 tab under new add ons to find out what has been released this week or the previous weeks. Now each song is scattered throughout the other add ons released by alphabet. I don’t really want to scroll through all the other add ons for games I am not interested in. I want to go right to the game(s) I am interested in pay for my content and then play my game(s).

Also any word on the Max Payne 3 season pass holders that can’t download the Hostage Negotiation pack? Getting annoyed that I can’t play something that I have paid for months ago.

Weekly Deals section needs to be its own subsection under Games and not buried under Hot On PS3. I almost thought you all removed the discounts section entirely before I found it.

Also, it would be nice if the description of the games on sale mentioned when the sale will be over.

Why when you search for 3D demos on the PSN Store does it only show 6 games?!
There are more like 26 3D demos.

A friend of mine just bought a 3D display and was really let down thinking they dropped support.

TO ALL PS+ MEMBERS!
This has been said before, but I’ll repeat it in case anyone missed it or needs confirmation. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THE FREE TRIAL OF RE5. I have downloaded trials before and they always show like the full game in the download list, but it is not. The only difference between downloading full or trials is seen in the expiration of the game once installed. If you did get the trial, thinking it would change into full automatically, you will need to download and at least start the game (no need to play it), so that the time starts to run. After an hour go back to the store and get the full game. There’s no need to redownload after that, just start the process of downloading and right after the activation screen (when the progress is 0%) you can cancel the download and done, full game activated.
All this I can confirm by experience. Don’t believe me? Check the game’s info for the expiration…

Nice update this week. The new store looks really nice. However, it took away the simplicity of the old store. The new PSN Store has some bugs. The first refers to the game Resident Evil 5: there should be an icon for the free version to Plus subscribers, as in the old store.
Another bug, much more serious, is that when you buy the DLC for Portal 2 (or any other item paid), the store asked me my password (ok, this is my security configuration). But it said the password was invalid, even though I make sure to correctly typed (tried going into my options in the XMB, successfully).
