I am very glad I did not miss the Persona sale, I have already started Persona 3 FES and after one hour of play I can say it definitely lives up to the hype. Please make sure I don’t accidentally miss sale information in this blog post again, and I’ll also start reading it more carefully.

I know this is an old update, but this update blog-post had a critical flaw that nearly caused me to not make a purchase.

Every Tuesday, I check this site regularly for the playstation store update blog post so I can read about what is on sale to see if there’s anything I’ve been waiting for available. This Tuesday was no different. So when the post went live, I scrolled down to the “Sales” section and read it. I stopped at the Guitar Hero stuff as that’s typically the last thing on the sales list and I don’t play those games. More than a week later, after the store had already updated again, I saw a list of current sales on the PSN on another website and noticed that Persona 3 FES was listed. This shocked me because I’ve been waiting for this one to go on sale for a few months, and I had somehow missed it. I was relieved that this particular item was still on sale, but I almost missed it.

So, please reconsider how you put the sales information into the blog post. I would recommend putting all the “Games” on sale prior to any DLC. DLC is only of interest to folks who own that particular game and no one else, where new games can be can be purchased by everyone.

How do you share your purchase stories on facebook. Whenever I buy something now i’m not prompted to share on facebook anymore. Problem started right after I updated to the new ps store.

I don’t generally leave comments but I’m so irritated about the new Store that I had to. So far, just trying to buy one thing I’ve had to go through about 50 error messages, my wallet has been charged and my items did not download. The old store was a lot easier to navigate. Especially when you were just browsing. It seems like in the new one that unless you’re looking for a specific PS1 title good luck finding it. The old one was a lot easier to navigate and it certainly worked better through the checkout and download area. I mean, c;mon, I know you’re probably still working out bugs but shouldn’t the first things you had worked out have been the checkout and download area? I’m very disappointed.

I’m curious as to when the adding funds debacle will be resolved. I’ve tried two different credit cards and a prepaid card and I still can’t add funds. This new store is a shameful disaster and the fact that Sony keeps blaming me for my troubles is insulting. I’ve checked and rechecked my connection status, billing information, and the code on my psn card, just as every customer service representative has told me to do. This problem does not stem from my doing, and the fact that nobody from Sony can offer any kind of assistance just adds insult to injury. SCEA should be ashamed of themselves for the terrible management of the issues resulting from their inept launch of a flawed store. Treat your customers with respect an admit your mistakes. And just for the record, this new store is one of the biggest mistakes this company has made. Shame on you Sony.
