  • Lego LotR comes out this week too.

  • None of these show every release, let it sink into your empty minds. You guys who complain every week on the drop are probably the same ones who complain every week about the store update when the clock hits midnight.

    Shoo.

  • pretty meh drop this week, especially considering you won’t have Black Ops 2 digitally. I hope they PS Plus update is better, though not expecting much.

Can’t wait for midnight release on black ops 2! I heard the campaign this year is as good as the first Black Ops. :)

  • Im still playing LBP Vita , Street Fighter X Tekken Vita and NFS:MW Vita …Im login my Vita right about now ;-)

  • Let’s be honest guys Sony doesn’t listen to our feedback or complaints. sure we get responses to our posts here but nothing really gets done about our major complains

    Case in point

The redesigned store that really didn’t address the problems with the old store
US and EU plus complaints about different game releases
PS Vita plus or lack their of not even a list yet (didn’t they say they’d have one up last week)
All huge 1st and 3rd party releases not being day 1 or midnight releases (black ops 2)

  • And whats the deal with Xseed releasing a demo for Ragnorak a week AFTER it released. Would have been nice to have tested it first.

And please Sony, don’t install that terrible Singstar app to out XMBs like you did for UK. I have no interest in that franchise whatsoever.

  • One more thing, any news on Vita Plus support? I hope you guys aren’t going to wait till the very last week of november to impliment it.

  • Question for the PSN staff. If Sonic Generations is on the 3DS, why has it not been released on the Vita yet ?

  • Glad to see the Planets Under Attack demo. I can’t tell if it’s like Eufloria which I hated or Mushroom Wars which I can’t get enough of. Bought When Vikings Attack this week and that’s a great multiplayer game.

Wonderbook? No ad in the weekly flyers for TRU, BB, Target, K-mart, Walmart or anywhere else. There were a lot of ads for WiiU games, which is funny b/c that system isn’t even out until next week. If Sony really thinks Wonderbooks is going to be this holidays EyePet then they better start advertising.

  • @10 It would be mostly likely PS3.

@38 Since the PS3 time doesn’t automatically changed from daylight savings to standard, you’ll have to change that setting manually.

  • No Guilty Gear. :( Longer wait.

  • @41 The Walking Dead comes to disc in December containing all 5 episodes for US. No word on EU though.

@45 Most Wanted has a 60 minute trial available.

@43 Yes, Wonderbook is coming out this week, but I doubt they’ll have it on PSN.

  • Any news about Plus For PS Vita this week and PSN will have some deals on Black Friday?

  • Guilty Gear

  • @60 You do realize they’re getting ready for Black Friday next week? You can find Wonderbook on their sites.

  • @64 Black Friday is next week, but who knows? Plus is still coming to Vita, but there is no set date as I recall.

  • @67 Yes I know that is the next week, but I’m just asking because if there will be some deals, I could save some money for that day :)

  • Still no Plus on Vita. Bummer.

Black Ops 2 is cool I guess. Still waiting on review copy from Activision for that one though. Otherwise it looks like a quiet and boring week.

  • this sounds cool and all but I want some yugioh on there, I would even be happy if they tossed the psp games on there for download. Also I am pumped for PS + on Vita!! Well with COD being on Vita I am probably going to buy it, however it’s going to be hard to pull me away from playstation allstars battle royale

  • Hey Rey,

I asked this last week, maybe it got lost in the comments.I was wondering if you could give me some information about PS Vita’s PSP compatibility, or push me in the direction of someone who can.

Will the Vita get anymore compatibility for PSP games?

Back when the Vita was first released, I bought Wipeout Pure (a Sony published game) because I had heard that it was compatible on the Vita. Turns out, it’s only transferable on European accounts, not North American accounts. Since then, it has sat on my PS3, waiting to be transferred (I no longer have a PSP).

Should I keep holding my breath? Or consider it a wasted twenty-something dollars?

At this point, any info at all would be helpful, though I have to wonder why this Sony-owned game is available in one region, but not another (obviously, the hardware is the same).

    Please let me know.

    Thanks a lot!

  • @68 There’s Cyber Monday as well.

  • @Seth
Umm no more Around the Web posts? Are we losing that now that Jeff is gone :(

  • No love for Wonderbook…

  • Don’t bother asking Rey lol, is like talking to a wall.

  • @71 yeah reys not gonna answer you or anybody else, hate to burst your bubble

  • black ops II and what else…??? nothing, darn how can this be, the worst new release ever. By the way, whats this “DROP”, what happened with the tuesdays releases? been waiting for nothing. At least next week can enjoy Sonic and all stars racing Transform, and Sega, please say something about Sonic the Fighters for USA PSN

  • @77 The Drop is a summary of what’s being released for that week. The Store Update shows what’s been added to the store and released.

  • @59
Probably because a) Sonic Generations came out 11/1/2011, before the Vita released… and b) Because Sonic Team (the developer for Sonic Generations) didn’t want to port it. The 3DS was already available when 11/1/11 came around. There is also a huge difference between publisher and developer… and Sony isn’t either for Sonic games. Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed (11/20/12) however, is on Vita.

Also… Call of Duty console games never pop up on PSN on day 1. Don’t ask why… just never happens. (I am tempted to believe they wait until the retail release that includes the 1st DLC pack comes out)

  • I am curious about one thing mainly. I am glad that Digital releases have been embraced but for first party titles such as the killzone series (2 and 3), Uncharted 3, and various others don’t seem to be on the store. Are you guys working on bringing them to the store in digital format?

  • im hoping sony have some black friday/cyber monday sale on their psn store

  • Honestly i just want some All Stars Battle Royale!! :D

  • @78 thanks for your answer, i missed the old PSN releases (details, prices, and more) , a summary is not enough, @79, any idea for Sonic the Fighters for USA PSN ??

  • wait Tekken Tag 2 is on PSN :P

  • @82 Next week. Did you play its beta?

I am not sure i Most Wanted still has a 60 minute trial for PS+ users, but not even sure how long the Most Wanted demo will remain. I know the Hot Pursuit demo was available for 2 weeks, then removed from the store.

No word on other demos like Dead Space 3, Sly 4 (Ratchet & Clank has an early release demo, the one on PSN will be different), and other upcoming games.

  • Your forgot some games.
    PS3:

Ben 10 Omniverse: The Video Game
    History: Legends of War Patton
    Wonderbook: Book of Spells
    MOVE Wonderbook Bundle
    F1 Race Stars
    LEGO Lord of the Rings

Me, I’ll be picking up Lego Lord of the Ring
    s, and Black Ops 2.

  • Not so much update, I’m still waiting for the Plus for Vita news though.

  • Like or hate it you are tied to your opinion im not going to judge. But this goofball is going to be on getting his ass kicked ( AND HAVE FUN DOING IT DAM IT ) Sorry. Anyway ill see all you goofballs online.

Take care and God Bless and happy veterans day to all. Especially to all the troops

  • Love Tekken Tag 2 on the PS3 but a vita version would be perfect.

  • Not understanding why Activision wouldn’t want a digital release on day 1, but it’s okay.
I’m sure the game will have it’s lagfest 101/maintenance problems during the first couple days.
So i’ll be getting it probably next week, mostly for the new zombie modes! (otherwise i’d skip buying it)

Not that great of a drop though overall. I’ll probably pass on everything on this list, but can’t wait to see what the PS+ deal is.

PS. Kids commenting, Grow Up! Some of you make PSN sound so terrible, have you ever seen the Xbox updates? Mostly all OLD games and kid games recently!

  • Hi guys, can anyone help me with my question? I see that Far Cry 3 is available as digital download on EU PlayStation Store…what about US? I see that game is still not available as Day One game on US store.

    Thank’s for help.

  • @JEC94

If I were Rey, I wouldn’t respond either.

  • dont know what was the hold up for releasing TTT2 (digital). i was hoping it was gonna be released as a day 1 on PSN, but it was not yet BOREDerlands 2 came out before TTT2 and it was released digitally on day 1. the funny thing is i finally bought TTT2 two weeks ago, then to find out that its going to be on PSN this tuesday.

  • @92

Yeah, that’s one of the best ways you’ve to chose from, actually the best one to do your job wrong!

  • Just renewed my PlayStation Plus nearly a month early. New Expiration: 3/3/2013. Happy Gaming Everyone!

  • It’s funny to see people complain to Sony for BO2 not being on PSN day one.. while the ones at cause are their lovely company that actually publishes the game.

  • Any news on if Playstation All-Stars will get a midnight release on the PSN store?

  • God Bless all the Veterans out there as well any in the service right now.

That being said, I’m waiting on All Stars right now, to hell with Call of Duty.

Just a week to go….I need to pre-order so I can get those alternate costumes.

  • just gev us more free games RE 5 gold sucks it dos-not work right on my ps3 ses failed to access game data when i get to end of lvl so WTF

  • The moment of truth for Declassified.

  • I add to the voices asking: when are we going to get information on Plus for Vita?

To those complaining about COD:BO 2 not on PSN: you do realize that it’s not just Sony’s decision on what 3rd party games they can offer on PSN, right? I’m guessing EA was more willing to have MOH on PSN since they’re more desperate to make a sale. COD games pretty much sell themselves so Activision doesn’t need to comply.
