  • @99 well they having alot are having holiday sales you can score a 3g one for about 200.. stand alone. When i got mines it was 335$ with a game. thats not adding the sub plan i had bought. It was well worth it in my honest opinion. I dont spending on a great product. :)

and the wifi version is almost the same thing only difference is you make phne call/texts on the 3g one . But if your in the middle of know where the 3g is worth it salt. trust me… wifi is just as good . I agree on data plans t need to be ironed that out.

  • $199.99 for Black Friday
Limited-Edition Crystal White PS Vita Wi-Fi System
    Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation game
    4GB memory card

wow pretty nice, i got mine for 370 dollars and it was ONLY the psvita, and believe me it was very cheap because i bought it on a no taxes place, then i got a 8 gb card for 70 dollars.

  • for everyone crying about the memory cards….just stop already. Your getting a Vita, a brand new game and a 4GB stick for only $199. The $50 you save can go towards the bigger memory card. Hell, you can even trade in the 4GB stick for an extra $10. im proud to be a part of the Playstation-nation….but for the love of SONY i cant stand the whining i always hear from my fellow Playstation community. “PSplus sucks”. “PSVita sucks”. i didnt realize i accidentally went to an XBOX forum. Geez…………..

anyway…..for anyone serious about picking up a Vita, its a fantastic device with great games. I highly recommend the Assassins Creed bundle. The white Vita is just gorgeous and Ubisoft deserves our support considering the great work they put into AC3 and Liberation for the Playstaion community. Activision on the other hand gave us a garbage COD Vita game and is once again giving us 2nd class citizen quality with COD on the consoles. Far as im concerned…..Activision and COD can go crawl back to Microsoft.

  • I really want a Vita but just like many others, I also feel that the memory sticks are very expensive.

@anyone that can answer- what is the maximum amount of gigabytes that the PSP can read from a
Micro to Pro Duo Adaptor? I have had two 16 gig cards in my own yielding an available 28 gig of storage.
    I heard a rumor of someone with 2 64 gig cards…

    Thanks in advance.

  • @13 full of crap, the vita already has an amazing lineup, so many good games to play with persona 4 next week. Compared to the 3ds this lineup blows it away.

@21 so much misinformation, sony is NOT selling vita at a loss, google it. They are however in financial dire straits as a company so they like making memory off overpriced memory catrds.

@6, 250 for vita is peanuts, seriously, most people spend more on takeout in a few weeks, an ipod touch is close to 250 and it doesn’t have half the tech vita does.

The issue with vita are the memory cards, Sony was idiotic releasing the system without some internal memory or at least every system should come with a 4 gb card. The memory card prices are akin to robbery right now. With no much focus on digital titles for vita you need at minimum 8 GB. I have a 16 GB and its already half full and I buy as much retail as possible to save space.

Sony also as usual as poor marketing and advertising of its games/systems.

  • @101

Do you have a link to a store doing a black friday deal on the 3G model? Because I’ve looked at the deals for every store, and the only deals I’m seeing are these Wi-Fi only bundles. If I can get a 3G model new for $200, I’d rather do that than buy a used one for $20-30 cheaper at Gamestop. But I’m sick of not having a Vita so I’m going to do what I have to do.

    @103

I can’t stand whiners and cry babies either. But the Vita not having built-in memory AND high memory card prices is a pretty valid complaint. Considering this digital age, and the fact that Vita can’t even save your menu setting without a memory card, Sony should have at least put 8Gb on built-in memory for Vita just so it’s useable and doesn’t lose your settings when you switch memory cards. I bought a PSP Go at launch because of the draw of the built-in memory (along with the nice design of course). If Vita had built in memory with a card slot on top of that, I’d already have a Vita for sure Buying a card less than 32Gb is a waste, and you can’t use a Vita without a card. So without alot of money to spend at once, you can’t buy a Vita.

  • @106 agree to some extent, but your comment about you need a 32 Gb card anything else is useless is total hogwash. Most games are available at retail I have a 16 GB card, own 15 games and still have half of it left…. And I can delete games if I really needed more space or back them up to my PC. an * or 16 GB card is more then enough for most.

  • I do want a PS Vita but the bundles are meh. I rather have a media bundle with a 32GB card 2 download games and a blackwi-fi PS Vita for $200.00.

  • LMAO @ 108, Sony is a business not a charity…….. The black Fridays are a deal for what is by far the best handheld ever created.

  • As I said though, I have a PSP Go. Between that and Plus and all the PSN games and Home stuff I’ve bought……..I’m a gamer that has happily moved on into the digital distribution age regardless of me being an older gamer who started my hobby when Atari was new. I can tell you from experience with my PSP Go, that between my PSP, PS1 and minis games, and my Coast to Coast AM MP3 collection, that’s about 16Gb right there. Now there aren’t many Vita games I’m REALLY wanting, I’m more into the hardware, but there are a few I’ll buy like UMvC3, so with those and my Plus membership 16Gb is useless. I want ALL my stuff, on one unit (aside from my digital comics unfortunately, another reason I’ve been hesitant on Vita), without carrying around a seperate memory card. 16Gb is passable I suppose, but not big enough for most digital customers these days I would think.

  • You do not need all those installed at once, I understand what your saying but that is a terrible reason for not getting a vita, I got by on a 4 GB for awhile and I do have quite a few psp and psn games on my vita. I also back everything up to my ps3 or pc when needed.

  • A PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita combination with some GB’s for both and at least one cross buy for $400 is very good for competing with the $350 Wii U, of course if the price is lower it would be enormously better. Competing with $300 Wii U, PS3/PSVita price has to be tops $350 but still offering for to justify the price.

DualShock 3 controllers for $40? that’s still very much overpriced. Wireless controller before cost $30 tops I think, maybe even less and as time goes by the prices to make them drops a lot and controllers are the same now as they were before so the prices should be less definitely not more. The best deals on controllers is used (don’t want us to buy used stop overpriced your products and don’t do anything anti consumer that will make use buy it used on purpose) or the Ultimate Combo Pack.

  • @106 try radio shack.. they should have it. they have where you radip shack gift card when buy it.

  • I already have a Vita. So, all I want for Black Friday is half price on all the Vita Memory Cards and PS+ Vouchers. That’s all I ask. Really.

  • I would buy one but the memory cards are way too expensive which means no sale.

  • I agree with @KidCommando, (#17) 100%. I mean 32GB for $80-$100 is ridiculous, and 32 is the max memory you can buy. We need more space than that, especially with this Instance Game Collection coming around. Like make a 64GB and price that around $80-$100. That way 32GB and below can be little more affordable. Either that or at least fixed the database rebuilding feature. It’s annoying that I have to rearrange my icons every time I take my memory card out.

  • Time to get a Vita for the long road trips if I can wake up that early and put up with people being dumb.

  • Hmm, well Vita is overpriced and without having a standard sdcard slot, it will never end up in my hands. I can see why Sony did what they did, to make money. It didnt work.

Someone said about the PS3 with 12GB of storage – seriously? You do understand that if you are a Plus member you would not even have enough room to download one of the free full games offered, right? I would rather see a PS3 with a nice 2tb or higher drive. Maybe even a SSD+HDD solution where you could use the SSD as extra memory to try and ease the load times of games.

I said it on Twitter and I will say it here….If Sony makes the PS4 not compatible with PS3 games, I will never buy another Playstation in my life. This is another way Sony will try to make money and it will backfire. I can see this being like the Vita with its, oh so special memory card that everyone can see is just a way to milk people out of more cash.

Why not a bundle that includes a coupon for a free game of your choice? I know, I know, that would cost money ;)

  • Laughing @ Ryumoau. Again.

Perhaps you should try reading the article instead of just looking at the pretty pictures.

I’m starting to think that you were the inspiration for Goofus in the “Goofus and Gallant” cartoon.

  • @KnightRid A reason for PS4 possibly not playing PS3 games is because it likely will not use the Cell Processor. Why should Sony continue using the Cell Processor when there are better/cheaper/easy to use processors out there? Also, if they were going to include a Cell in PS4 just to run PS3 games, that makes PS4 expensive just like PS3. Cost of hardware components is NOT cheap. Would you rather PS4 play PS3/PS4 games at a high price, or be more competitively priced lacking the ability?

  • @120 it going to be playing ps3 games man. Sony is record saying tthe ps4 will likley launch with 30 ps3 digital titles as well the library games from the past consoles day one. Psn is way to profitable to neglect it.

Sony makes more money from software than the hardware I assume. the hard ware is profitable but the software is more profitable. I dont think its going to be playing physical ps3 disks. for alot cost reason you just explained for the ps4. I woulds suggest that folks buy the digital versions now. Im just assuming that cloud is going be a big part of ps4 and ps4 experience. I could be wrong becuase you never know with sony :_, they are very smart in alot of thing loking 5-10yrs ahead rather than 2 years.

i think disks are being fazed out slowly, well ok maybe not blu ray lol

  • No full, true, disc based PlayStation 3 games backwards compatibility on PlayStation 4 guarantees I won’t purchase a PS4 any time soon after it launches.

I’m really getting tired of this no backwards compatibility crap, it doesn’t cost a lot to have it. That’s speaking in general. Speaking about PlayStation, backwards compatibility is a PlayStation standard and legacy, now the latest PlayStation 3 models don’t have PlayStation 2 BC and PlayStation Vita doesn’t have PlayStation Portable UMD BC. And before anyone says PS3 dropped PS2 BC to reduce costs, Sony said it wasn’t dropped to reduce costs and it almost costs nothing to have it. All signs point to a screw you consumer tactic to screw consumers and try to get consumers to purchase the games they’re already purchased again on PlayStation Store or as a HD Collection.

PS4 should have full PS3, PS2, PSN and PS1 disc BC. That would be perfect. I would buy a PSVita if I could play my UMD content for free on it or for a very low fee.

Also, having the Cell in PS4 wouldn’t make it expensive, stop assuming.

  • They should seriously lower the prices on the memory cards. They’re so overpriced.

  • will there be online sale

  • When are we going to see some advances with remote play? Surely the purchase of “Gaikai” will enhance this somehow? fancy algorithms or something? If wiiU can pull it off over wifi why can’t ps3+vita?

  • What store is selling the white ps vita bundle on black friday? I must be reading something wrong, because I cannot find what retailer is selling that bundle. HELP me Please…

  • Why not the 8 or 16gb included, and a PS Allstars bundle, guess I’ll get the Assassin Creed Bundle it has more bang for my buck according to what i’m hearing.

  • does anyone know if this applies to Canada as well? Was thinking of getting the AC bundle.

  • I just bought the White Vita bundle 2 weeks ago, had I known it would be cheap on Black Friday I would have waited, why Sony WHY!!!?? Good deal for those who don’t have one though, I think they will sell well. Also why in the world would anyone get the Lego Batman Bundle over the other 2? The AC bundle is the more attractive, but at least the COD bundle also has the memory card, the other bundle just has a game and no memory card. Then again if you can’t find the other 2, its still cheaper and better than nothing.

  • I’ve read through all the answers and I didn’t see an answer to my particular question. Is Amazon getting any of these deals at all? I won’t be able to make it to a brick and motar stoe and I would like a Black Ops Vita bundle.

  • Pre-ordered my PS Vita AC3 Bundle months ago, picked it up launch night with my copy of AC3 and less than a month later you guys price drop the thing $50 for black friday.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvK1F-Thrzk

I’ll take my $50 refund in PSN money, thanks.

  • @ManaKnight – They may have problems using the bluray from PS3 but giving owners of the game a digitally recompiled version (which IS possible no matter what Sony says) for free would go a long way in supporting the end user rather than recompiling them and selling them yet again to us. Can we say, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, Metal Gear Solid, Sly Cooper…..Should I continue? If you owned these games for the PS2 there is no reason Sony should charge you yet again just to play them on the new console. Dont bring up the HD ports as there is no going through the game frame by frame to upconvert them, it is done automatically, tested, then fixed as needed (well fixed as much as they care to). This is about as hard as taking a dvd and making it 1080p (not the restored ones as film needs restoration computer graphics dont)

  • Why so many good offers? ? Too hard to decide what to get

  • Will Uncharted: GA even fit on a 4GB card?
I still think it’s silly to release a new system with proprietary memory when there are so many other (I.E.: cheaper) choices. It’s an obvious money grab by Sony, but the price drop on the system helps a bit.

    Very tempting.

  • In a way i’m glad I bought my vita earlier this year even if it cost more. I would kill myself trying to decide between the ACL and BO bundles! With the BO bundle you get more bang for your buck, as it includes a more expensive game, but that white vita is pretty sexy. I could never decide. Plus, I wouldn’t wanna get trampled by a herd of awful black friday shoppers.

  • Where can I buy or preorder one of the vita online ?

  • I was wondering here in the US if these bundles are normal PS Vitas or do they have some logo or something?

  • Your site says the Assassin’s bundle will be available on Amazon.com, but Amazon is saying that is not true. It currently is not on sale there. Is it going on sale there later today?

  • Just picked up the ACIII Vita bundle at Amazon for $179 and it comes with a code for PlayStation All*Stars too.
    Nice deal!

Now we need deals on the 32GB card! :)

  • I also picked up the AC Liberation Vita Bundle at Amazon for $179.99… I took my decision when i saw the Uncharted, WipEout, JetSetRadio and Gravity Rush for Plus members! That was a really nice move, Sony.

  • Great deal for $179.99.

I believe it comes with a code for the full version of PlayStation All*Stars

  • When will the super slim be sold by itself? For how much longer will the Uncharted 3 GOTY edition bundle be available for?
