November 20th PlayStation Plus Update

Uncharted: Golden Abyss (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members

Uncover the dark secret behind the 400-year-old massacre of a Spanish expedition and follow the murderous trail of an ancient and secret Spanish sect. Undiscovered temple ruins, vast karst caverns of Central America, legendary lost cities, fantastic action sequences, and of course, Mr. Nathan Drake himself bring this complete Uncharted experience to PS Vita.
Gravity Rush (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members

Gain a new perspective as you take on the role of Kat, a strong-willed girl seeking the means to protect her future in a world that’s crumbling to pieces. Taking gravity into your own hands to deliver devastating attacks, uncover the secrets to your past and explore a mysterious world. One of my personal favorite PS Vita games is yours to play free with PS Plus.
WipEout 2048 (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members

With PS Vita’s enhanced controls – including front touch, rear touch, and six-axis motion sensors, this entry into the venerable WipEout series is one of the best. Optimized for 23rd century racing, you can compete with up to 8 other players on 10 new tracks. Don’t forget to stay on top of those online leaderboards too!
Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members

One of the most unique and hilarious PS Vita titles also happens to be one of the best. A side-scrolling puzzle-platformer about an ornery mutant blob that, after being held captive in a lab that can only be described as something out of a retro sci-fi movie from the early ’50′s, escapes into the world and sets out on a path to consume everything. Use touch and the motion sensor functions combined with traditional analog stick controls to defeat the pathetic humans. Eat your way to freedom. It’s that fun.
Jet Set Radio (PS Vita)

Free for Plus Members

Tag, grind, and trick to the beat in SEGA’s hit game Jet Set Radio on PS Vita. Free for PS Plus members the same day it releases; fight for control of Tokyo-to, mark your turf with graffiti, tag walls, billboards, and even rival gang members! Perform tricks and flips on magnetically driven in-line skates, but watch out for the local police force. They’re not nice.
Final Fantasy Tactics (PS Vita, PSP)

Free for Plus Members

Originally released in 1998 on the original PlayStation, this first tactical RPG in the legendary Final Fantasy series, enthralled fans around the world with its unique artistic style and intricate storyline, and it’s certainly one of my top favorites of all time. A sublime strategy experience with an ever engrossing job system, tactical battles, tens of hours of gameplay, and remastered from the original, yours free with Plus.
Dungeon Defenders (PS3)

Free for Plus Members

An addictive blend of Tower Defense and cooperative online Action-RPG, Dungeon Defenders gives players 4 distinctive classes to lead through action-packed combat while upgrading their statistics, gathering tons of loot and inventory items, customizing & upgrading equipment, and developing unique class abilities. Play it online co-op, or splitscreen, free with PlayStation Plus.

OH HAPPY DAYS! HAPPY HAPPY DAYS!

We have waited and finally it is here!

I am betting that this is the end of this month’s PS+ Update (except for that sale tomorrow that Morgan mentioned), but man, what a way to end November for PS+!

And I’m not just talking about the inclusion of PS Vita. Additional free games are always a welcome (though they were given way back in February but new PS+ joiners will benefit from this). Finally this month we beat EU PS+! …although they do have Crysis 2… but this month is still great. More than makes up for last month.

The discounts on Sega games are great as well. I just tried out the Demo for Hell Yeah! last night and loved it. Probably gonna have to top up my PSN wallet again tomorrow…

You guys really need to work on the pre-ordered games being available by midnight the day that they come out or let people download all of the game a week early except for a little part of it that they have to download on Tuesday morning at midnight. I personally would pre order a lot more games on the PSN. Other than that though this is a great update. I loved Uncharted and Gravity Rush but I haven’t tried the other games so this will be a good chance!

Hey Morgan, I see you responding to a bunch of questions about the PS Store and PS+ update which is great. What day does the PS Vita FIRMWARE UPDATE arrive? I would have thought you would drop it today so your servers aren’t clogged with mandatory firmware downloads AND store downloads. Forcing users to download an update, then install it, then reboot and then go look in the store seems like a poor idea.

Seriously need to offer a larger memory card for the vita system. I bought the 32 gb card at launch and its full. Every time I purchase a new game, I need to remove content. Any chance of releasing a bigger card or offering some type of adapter that allows us to use the vita game cartridge slot for an additional memory card? Glad to see a strong plus offering for vita (although I already own most titles offered). Please continue to bring more psp games to vita (particularly twisted metal head on and motor storm arctic edge). Thanks for reading!!!

@Morgan While I would love to take advantage of the Music Unlimited deal, I am not able to use the 30 day trial to try it before buying because my account was created as a secondary account and it will ask me to use a master account. Moreover, switching to the master account wouldn’t help because I can only have one account on my PS Vita and I am the owner and person who uses it the most. Currently, there is no way to upgrade a secondary account to a master account and the only other solution would be to drop the restrictions on what secondary accounts can and can’t do if you will not put in place a system where the secondary account can become a master account. Note that creating a new account is not an option for me because I would lose my PS Plus content and other content that I have bought with this account.
