Hey Kristi, I was wondering if music unlimited will be adding Sufjan Stevens’ Christmas albums. I know spotify has already added it so I figured there may be a chance for you guys to also. I have purchased the $12 plus deal and so far the lack of Sufjan’s Christmas stuff is my only complaint. Keep being awesome!

As much as I’m enjoying this deal, I have to agree with those who complain about the music channel song selection. Many of the selections don’t make any sense: I create a channel based on a New Age artist my girlfriend likes, and then the next song is from Irish Pub Songs–not the same mood at all and the New Age artist wasn’t even Celtic!
Can you still add your own music and use music unlimited without conflicts.
I have many soundtrack, African and European albums that I don’t want to lose.
I got this deal because I like the fact that I can listen to music anytime without ads and unlimited skips, but I do have one complaint and hope that it gets fixed sooner than later. All channels should be set to random. I repeat, please make channels play random songs. Nothing is more frusturating than having to here the same songs play everytime I pick a channel to listen to. This seems like a no brainer considering that free apps already do this. I do not want to pick my favorite genre and have the same list of songs play everyday in the same order. A simple random selection will fix this and make this app perfect.

You get what you pay for. The music unlimited service is down half the time I try to access it. Should have increased server capacity before offering the deal, which will greatly increase the number of subscribers.
It’s a pretty decent music service as far as streaming music goes.
I just wish they had some of the more popular, classic bands (Beatles, Led Zeppelin, etc..)
I also wish they would find a way to let you play Music Unlimited music from the XMB while “in game”.
Or temporarily download the album to your XMB to use that way.
So overall, it’s a good deal that could use some tweaks here and there.
Why not just make this part of Plus. Since we lost Qore this would more than make up for it.

i do not live in the US. I do have a US account. I bought this the first day that they offered it.
It works on my vita, sony tablet S, ps3 and PC.
I can save music to my vita and tablet S for offline play. However, on the tablet, i have to switch to offline mode while having internet access in order for the the offline mode to work on the tablet S. if not, the app fails to open without an internet connection.
How long does this offer last for Kristi?

I have the money in US currency with a US card and US address, but since I work abroad, this offer is essentially null for me. Man I don’t get regional restrictions in this day and age. I wish I could keep up with the music/movie scene in my home country with streaming services like this.

Picked mine up this past week and absolutely love the service. Using offline mode on my android phone is a great option. Hope that the service is available for this price again next year as I love the options available. Only problems i have are the load times on PS3 and my PC and a more a search option to search within specific Genres would be nice too but those arent major grevances.
Hello! I had just gone into the PS store, purchased the PS+ music Unlimited deal
for $12.99. Once I confirmed the purchase, it showed nothing in the checkout area.
Going back into where I went to purchase the MI unlimited deal, it said it
“was not available for purchase”. Although, it didn’t mind taking the money
out of my wallet for the purchase.
Please help me with this. This needs to be fixed immediately!

Guess I started to panic? Hehe
I need some help here. I bought the music unlimited 1 year subscription but I am not sure why they say it works on multiple ps3 when in order for it to be able to work on multiple ps3 I need to be logged out of my ps3 to let my wife use it on her ps3. I am the primary user on both ps3. Can someone explain this to me?
Also, the setting up of channels are broken. The 2 channels I tried to set up all listed songs that were on my favorites at the time but maybe 3 out of 20 songs in channels were actually in the right category.
If I need to buy the second music unlimited subscription, against my better judgment without a reasonable complete understanding as to why, when will the discount end?
The only thing that stops this from being an incredible deal is the inability to purchase multiple years at once. I would if I could.

Please make the Android app of your Music Unlimited as pleasant and refined as your PS Vita app. I do not bring my PS Vita anywhere, but I do bring my phone everywhere. It would be nice if the app loaded faster, wouldn’t crash as much and has the same attention to detail as it’s ps vita counterpart.

Hi im interested in knowing will it at some stage become movie unlimited with the music unlimited at 100+ a year is decent. For just music 12 with a yearly playstation card/subscription is a ok i mean 24.00 if it included unlimited movies would be great.. Please keep this offer valid threw the new year :)
Got it when it first came out. $12 a year is a steal. Awesome service without the discount as well.
The music unlimited player on vita needs some audio EQ settings. Its sounds fairly flat. The service is great otherwise.
Is there a reason why the service hasn’t worked at all for me for like 3 days now? Every time I try connecting I get an error saying “A connection to the server could not be established. This application will close”. Doesn’t matter if I’m over WiFi or 3G. Never works. At 12$ it’s really turning in to a piece of crap, I feel bad for the people who paid full price.

I was going to sub to this for $12 because I currently don’t have any songs right now so by the time I get the free legal downloads and my CDs and make the digital versions I was going to use this since it’s only $1 a month but I thought it had offline mode on iOS but since it doesn’t I’m going to have to think about it. Everything needs to be the same on all devices.
Also, how much KBs/MBs does using this app/playing songs/searching for songs/adding songs to library/playlist/etc use? because I don’t have an unlimited plan and need to know this. Thanks.

I’m enjoying the service and for $1 a month this is worth it, but I really feel like British music is getting a raw deal here…
Where is the Led Zeppelin, Queen, Beatles? They all come up with nothing but covers, karaoke, and tribute albums.
I was happy to see a lot of Van Halen, Aerosmith, Beastie Boys… bands that are usually caught up with licensing
rights. So that was a good move on Sony’s part.
This is a great deal, but the web player as well as the Android app need to improve. I’m a new PS3 user and the app on the PS3 is decent enough. I also agree, it’d be nice to get better quality and a bigger catalog.
However for this low price its much easier to make this decision, and I hope the quality/selection increase. Sony has a real chance here to be a competitor.
